I am not asking that everyone should love it, but at least understand it and respect that it's their band, not yours, they can do whatever they want with their sound.
I was one of those listeners who hated this song when I first heard it...........but for what ever reason it stayed on my playlist and its grown on me and I love it now.
All time favorite band. I don’t like this sound quite as much but I still really enjoy it. Both sounds free on me more and more. They deserve to sell out some big arenas

It’s like Viking metal but it’s still so amazing! I can imagine crowds will go off, I love old school parkway the hardcore era but this is still so good!
Could we get a different kind of video where you two break down the parts of rock / metal music? I've tried searching but couldn't find an all-encompassing video. Like when people talk about riffs, bridges, breakdowns, etc. -- I have an idea what you mean but would really love a full guide so I could appreciate all the music you react to more. You could even play snippets of a bunch of songs you think would make good examples of each piece!

Vocalist is showing signs of losing voice for a few years. I think that is the real reason why they are changing directions.
As a metal vocalist myself I can tell that these new vocal lines are way easier to "scream" then for example deliver me, boneyards, dark days or carrion

Reverence is a great album
As much hate as this band gets now for changing their sound , I saw them at knotfest Australia in Sydney and they were by far the best performing band that day ❤

Bands change and evolve sure, but when what they're releasing is genuinely awful and generic as fuck, that doesn't apply. Take Asking Alexandria for example, I'm always down for change, but what they're releasing is unbelievably lame and sounds like it was made by any octane radio rock band, so this whole "evolving" bullshit that people throw out there is so faulty
