U should wash your air fliter and clean your air mass sensor and your throttle body when you change your engine oil. Ive been doing that on my 2017 Tacoma trd sport. It has 441,000 km. And it still drives like new. And i get better gas mileage now then before.
U need to buy the air mass sensor spray bottle. U need to un screw the air mass sensor and spray. It will clean the metal sensor. Let it air dry. Will dry quick. Then screw it back in. Same thing with the throat body. Need to but the spray that says throttle body. The spary in the throttle plate and inside. U can use a toothbrush to clean the carbon. Then put back everything together. The start the vehicle. It will take alittle to start cos of the throttle body cleaner to burn. Once the vehicle starts running u might see some smoke out of the tail pipe thats the cleaner burning its working. Then take it for a drive to clean out. You will notice the difference of the pick up and the lost power.
Chloe - LUV all your vids - maintenance, diy, new vehicles, products, etc!!! AND old LC😂 Keep the current truck (you will) and the new one. I predict 4Runner TRD PRO 😘 Please keep doing what you're doing 👍 🇺🇸
One thing you may wanna see about getting done is air intake swap from Rough Country. Get cleaner smoother air flow and allows a couple mpg and a tad hours power as well.
Appreciate the update. It would be interesting if Chloe adapted the new pro seats to the third gen. I'm guessing either heated seat pads or switching to PRP race seats though.
I loved watching your videos last few days and I was looking for a truck last month. Checked some 3rd Gen Tacomas here in Seattle but they are very expensive so I ended up buying a 2018 Nissan Frontier. :)
I think your next vehicle is the 1958 Land Cruiser. You are keeping your truck so there is no need for another Truck and the 1958 Land Cruiser is made to build up. More content for the channel.
Chloe has decided she has the brains and the bod to take on the likes of Supercar Blondie and become the new numero uno off-road channel. To accomplish this she has ordered a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato yay!
The new 4 runner will not be available till 2025 , so since you said you done ordered the vehicle you want I'm going to guess it's one that's already available but just waiting for whatever they do that causes a delay ,so with that BIENG said I'm guessing it's going to be the pro tacoma
You must get this question a lot but any plans for transmission maintenance? Are you planning to do any drain and fills? I know there’s debate about sealed transmissions and lifetime fluid…and naturally people ask well how many miles does “lifetime” mean. Anyways, just curious since I don’t think I’ve seen a transmission maintenance video from ur channel.
Well I just hit 173k miles on my work van. 2018 dodge caravan. Surprisingly I only had a dead battery. Nothing major outside of wear and tear. Although I don’t pay for repairs but I am responsible for taking it in for service or repairs. So 75k mikes on a Toyota is nothing
It will be fine as long as it meets the required GL-5 gear oil specification, which can be found on gear oil packaging. Technically, the manual states to use 75W-85, which isn't hard to find and is affordable. Motul makes it and can be found online at Summit Racing, Amazon, and other places. Although, I haven't seen it in the squeeze packs. The rear differential requires 4 QT. Also, you'll need two gaskets for the fill and drain plug, which is part number 12157-10010.

Enjoy your channel. Thanks for the clear and informative updates on your Gen 3. Love seeing someone learn and own their vehicle upkeep and upgrading. So different than buying and just paying a shop to upgrade and show off. So much pride in doing things yourself.
As a 3rd gen owner as well, I'll never sell my current truck. It doesn't go 0 to 60 like newer tech but I know it will surpass 300k. People have documented to pass that marker. Im going to wait 5-10 yrs to see how the new generation perform. Thank you for willing to bite the bullet and try it out for the rest of us.
I’m here to give testimony to the benefit of going OEM only on a Toyota. My 2009 Corolla just clocked 300,000 miles and I’ve on every replacement part done OEM from my local dealership. Mostly done myself I’ve never regretted it I got my Toyota for liability and I’m keeping it Toyota. We think in the moment on expenditures but the value comes in durability and smooth performance. You’re preaching it right Chloe good job!
My guess is you ordered a new 4Runner . I'm glad you're keeping your third gen Tacoma .
New 4 runner going to be here about 12 months, good luck if you pay the MSRP without markup.
Concurred she basically said that in her 4R review amiright?
But you can’t order new 4 runner yet
Maybe influencers? I know that some are reserved as or advertised for vips.
@@jaypikachu6660this fall, not 12 months
My guess is the Tacoma Pro and why every video Chloe has with the Pro smiles and excitement there is no doubt.
Toyota makes quality parts. I've used a ton of aftermarket parts on other brands over my life but for my Taco I think it's better to stick with OEM

So glad I pulled the trigger on my 3rd Gen TRD off Road 2023 love it n glad I got 6ft bed❤️❤️❤️
I bought a new 2023 TRD Sport 4×4 last labor day. I love it, and I love your channel!
glad to hear you're keeping the 3rd gen!
Chloe - LUV all your vids - maintenance, diy, new vehicles, products, etc!!! AND old LC😂 Keep the current truck (you will) and the new one. I predict 4Runner TRD PRO 😘 Please keep doing what you're doing 👍 🇺🇸
Love your maintenance videos Chloe ❤
One thing you may wanna see about getting done is air intake swap from Rough Country. Get cleaner smoother air flow and allows a couple mpg and a tad hours power as well.
Please put on safety glasses…,
I would not like to see you with a pirate patch if something were to happen!😊
Lexus GX550, best of the recent releases
Congratulations on your new purchase - I'm very happy for you 👍
Have you considered getting something like quick jack?
I'd say base land cruiser and the seats will be katzkin recover.
Great video on your 75K Maintenance , Chole 🤙😎
I saw some new gen4 tacomas at the dealer and a nice way to say it is I think you'll get a good price for your gen3.
Appreciate the update. It would be interesting if Chloe adapted the new pro seats to the third gen. I'm guessing either heated seat pads or switching to PRP race seats though.
My guess is that you plan to get the new Land Cruiser. Probably the 1958 since it gives you the most opportunity to build up.
I loved watching your videos last few days and I was looking for a truck last month. Checked some 3rd Gen Tacomas here in Seattle but they are very expensive so I ended up buying a 2018 Nissan Frontier. :)
I’m approaching 60,000 miles on mine.
If you go ECGS gears someday their oil they recommend is like pumping molasses in... Took me like an hour to fill both diffs...
You need to move to gen4 as the gen3 is so old now and the new Tacomas are really hot now.
Where? My dealer has 50 of them sitting on the lot. They are not selling at all here.
I think your next vehicle is the 1958 Land Cruiser. You are keeping your truck so there is no need for another Truck and the 1958 Land Cruiser is made to build up. More content for the channel.
I'm so sad i Totaled my 2017 TRD spot. I named it Gertrude, the flying duck. I love your channel, keep up the great work.
Chloe you gotta work on those rookie miles… 18 TRD Sport DCLB purchased 2/19/19… just broke 281,000 miles.
Very helpful and informative video❤
Great content & information as always!
doing a lot of off roading today looking for gold. out by barstow ,off copper city rd. have a good day boss.
Chloe,I think maybe you will get the Sr5 so you can mod it more.
My guess is the new gen Land Cruiser
Chloe has decided she has the brains and the bod to take on the likes of Supercar Blondie and become the new numero uno off-road channel. To accomplish this she has ordered a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato yay!
What vibration are you referring to? Did you have a video about it that I may have missed?
Wondering if it’s the same thing I feel?
Great Truck, very well maintained, it's a keeper, stay far away from the 4th gen turbo.
Good video Chloe. New 4Runner as my guess for your new video
haha, that's so awesome that you went back to watch your own video. My guess is a dark horse. You are going Tundra
The new 4 runner will not be available till 2025 , so since you said you done ordered the vehicle you want I'm going to guess it's one that's already available but just waiting for whatever they do that causes a delay ,so with that BIENG said I'm guessing it's going to be the pro tacoma
I think she ordered the Tacoma TRD Pro 4Gen or the Trailhunter
Land Cruiser Launch Edition is my guess.
Your ordered a Tacoma iMax pro .
An impact wrench will change your life when changing/rotating tires. Just get a cheap Ryobi for $70.
Glad you keeping the gen 3 heard the 24 tacos 4 bangers are junk
16:09 those black sections kind of look like it could be mold.
For all your good PR, Toyota should just gift you the Taco of your choice. AM betting you ordered a Trail Hunter or a TRD Offroad.
I’m conflicted on what to get or trade in for my 3 gen
I have the same truck even the color, too cool!!!
You must get this question a lot but any plans for transmission maintenance? Are you planning to do any drain and fills?
I know there’s debate about sealed transmissions and lifetime fluid…and naturally people ask well how many miles does “lifetime” mean.

New 4runner
I am sure you are considering a new Tacoma. Is that a possibility soon?
I call mine benzi since it’s expensive asf! $53k for my taco trd pro
You got the First Edition Land Cruiser. I know you did.
Putting my guess here, the upcoming big mod on the 3rd gen is a regear.
The new Land cruiser hybrid
Well I just hit 173k miles on my work van. 2018 dodge caravan. Surprisingly I only had a dead battery. Nothing major outside of wear and tear. Although I don’t pay for repairs but I am responsible for taking it in for service or repairs. So 75k mikes on a Toyota is nothing
I'm hoping you get a 24 off road tacoma but I guessing your going pro
Great Job ❤❤
Which pro eagle jack do you use ?
Taco nation you come to Hawaii all you see is sea of tacoma 😂
I notice that you didn't do the front diff. I assumed yours is a 4x4 but maybe not?
She said she did it last maintenance
Is it OK to run lsd additives with the rear lockers? Valvoline 75w-90 have lsd additives. Isn't it supposed to be 6.2qt with filter?

Oh we already know Chloe, when you went airborne on that 4th Tacoma gen test track. We all know you ordered it that day😅
You should've pre-filled the oil filter before installation.
👊👍
I THINK I. LIKE BETTER. 4RUNNER. WITH. V6. 7- SEATER. AUTO. .
460hp.
I call my 4Runner “truck”….not very original. Of course I call my daughter squid, 🦑, so it might be a defect in my brain 🧠. Yay. 👍🤪🏳️🌈

I'm guessing PRP seat covers... because I'm getting tons of targeted adds trying to get me to buy them! 😂

I bet youre an engineer or a pharmacist.
My tacoma shakes like crazy, got wheels balanced it still shakes. My tacoma has been a disappointment. Wish I stayed with chevy
New wheels?
I have a Honda Ridgeline 2022..and I’m gonna be getting her some AT tires next year and possibly a 2 inch lift

Thanks, with helping me on decision to buy truck. Bought toyota tacome 2023. Waiting on deliveries to modify.
I enjoy your videos thank you ! Your awesome!!!!!!
Im guessing you ordered the TRD Pro with its shock absorbing front seats.
A base model will be perfect and work on it by adding stuff to create content.
Hey Chloe, nice video as always. The Name " Silver Bullet " is from Coors Beer, I hope you don't get into any issues 😉
Facts and could be... trademark.
The Coors Light truck?
Trail Hunter!!
i like your garage.
Corolla GR
1958 😀
You'll order the 2025 Off Road 4-Runner, possibly with the Premium Package.
4 Runner for the new family you'll be starting! Get to lifing!! (new word?)
I'm guessing that you're getting the Lexus GX550.
Usually when I get an alignment I have them rotate the tires first.
Does the new Tacoma make 4 for your fleet🤔
U ordered the Tacoma TRD offroad!
