Best part about the Richmond clip is that like 30 feet ahead of that intersection is a roundabout which is much easier to go through instead of pulling an illegal u-turn.
Hey! great video, glad to see those clips being put to good use :) happy new year!
I was on my way to work one night, driving northbound on Victoria. At 33rd, I was third in line behind a cop and a pick-up truck. The light turned green and the pick-up did a u-turn obviously totally unaware that a cop car was right behind him. The thing I found funny and ironic was that the cop did a u-turn to give the pick-up a ticket for doing a u-turn.
Well they are exempt and above the law haha
It’s definitely getting worse. I’ve been in some near death experiences lately. Pedestrians being hit on my corner too often. It seems as if they’re trying to kill someone.
7:12 That’s Fail Army material right there. That driver screwed up SO badly!
2019 didn't ends well for my final trip home. Almost rear ends into a car dashed out of alley near E12 and Nanaimo. Goes from 60km/h to stop, stoped for a few seconds then move on to home safely at 10:30.
Cool channel mate, I love seeing the different roads from around the world. 🇬🇧✌
Thanks so much!
@@vancouversworstdrivers no worries mate. I film some very amateur dash cam footage England, check it out, if you're curious 😁
The worst part is that these are usually not new drivers. They are always on the road. Looks like many people got their licences with bribes. There can be no other explanation.
I totally agree with you.
There were multiple cases of exactly that prosecuted in BC
P D Sad that some people can be bought. Not thinking ahead as they are putting themselves, their own families and friends in danger by taking a bribe. They must ask themselves if it is worth the consequences.
Happy New Year Stay safe!!
You too! Thanks for watching my videos this year buddy
A pedestrian at a crossing waiting for traffic to stop? A rare sight in Vancouver!
Not sure if you noticed, not that it matters but the scooter clip from Fitter113 is in Victoria. Unfortunately we have bad drivers too :(
I thought VanCouver had red light cameras all over the city. I’d like to see some of those bad drivers get flashed at by red light cameras
When I just started watching vids from this channel, I was like "Nahhhh this is all setups, there cant be much stupidity in one place like this" lol
😅
0:39 "If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver." - Ayrton Senna, Formula 1
I see stuff like this daily in Ottawa too. How are these people even getting their license? They cannot drive correctly at all.
They buy them then move here, or they got it decades ago and have spent the last decades practicing poor driving behaviors.
I was doing delivery driving for Lordco, and a pedestrian was at a crosswalk, so I began to slowdown and stop to allow them to cross since NOBODY else would.
And the FedEx driver behind me WASN'T paying attention and rear-ends me cause he wasn't paying the fuck attention. What a load of shit.
I was just about to say "so much Richmond..." And then you said it for me, basically.
I stumbled on your channel by fluke accident and all I can think of is "my god! maybe victoria drivers aren't that bad", then I remember the woman who clipped me in richmond
Hopefully will see better drivers in 2020
We can only hope but I highly doubt that lol happy new year's
@@vancouversworstdrivers lol happy new year to you too
You know you won't, right ?=) steel bumpers and rocksliders is my answer lol
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That cyclist clip was strange, I wonder if the guy swerved like that because he's had cyclists put their hands on his car for a free ride? Either that or it wasn't the first encounter between them.
Ya I think there might have been something between them earlier? That's all I can guess
I live in Richmond and I’ve almost been hit by a car as a pedestrian about 30+ times
You should just live in a rubber bubble
I remember a week ago I went out to dinner with my family and I saw 3 crashed cars on marine dr near kerr all in one day and in about a 3 hour time period it was nuts
it's chaos out there
And people wonder why their auto premiums are so high...
@@RainCity3rd I'm one of those people who wonder that. Now I know lol
Enjoying a nice weekend evening at home... Road Rage!
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to 2020." That aged really badly. 😷
😂 I would say 2021 will be better but who knows lmao
2:42 moving truck from where ????
I drive an expensive car, it's crazy to see what other drivers tried to pull on me, had a beatup sti pull a left turn past red light from behind once lol
I almost T-boned an idiot earlier today for pulling a stupid move. He's in the left turn lane opposite my flow and I'm in the left lane of a 3 lane street as I'm about to drive through the intersection. He proceeds to try and beat me but then stops in the middle of his turn completely blocking me because he didn't notice the other cars in the other 2 lanes to the right of me also going through the intersection and I had to slam on my brake to stop myself from T-boning his front passenger. Luckily no one rear ended me because of his stupidity.
Get a dashcam dude!
@@vancouversworstdrivers Yeah I've been looking into it but not sure what's good and what's a good setup for my car. I don't want a lot of wires dangling everywhere.
@@SushiParty I had mine installed and you can't see them. There's dyi options too honestly it could save you a ton of money if you get in an accident
@@vancouversworstdrivers Where did you get yours installed from? I've seen DYI setups in other people's cars but there are always wires dangling at the front, a big camera stuck to the windshield or wires running along the ceiling to the rear camera.
@@SushiParty I paid a guy named MJ Installs... If it's only a front dashcam it's not too bad
SO is u turn illegal in Vancouver?
So according to the law, if you ENTER the intersection AFTER the light has turned red, and it's still red (of course) then you've run the light. So yes, he ran it.
On the flip side, if your car enters before, even if it's not fully across the line, you're safe. Learned this with red light cameras. The only time you can get a ticket is if a cop sees you and deems that you had plenty of time to stop and you didn't cuz of some stupid thing you're doing. In other words, it's up to their discretion.
6:10 let’s keep in mind to where bright items when we walk during autumn and winter. Sometimes if people are dressed all black/grey/dark driver can’t say if it’s a pole or a human
Totally agree...when I walk I assume no one can see me. But then again it was the middle of the day people should be paying attention
@@vancouversworstdrivers meh, you can't stand so far on the side, you need to get out there and show you are actively crossing. Certainly pay close attention and get ready to jump back if you need though, like you said assume no one sees you ever.
have you ever seen drivers in White Rock?
I'm gonna have to start saving and sending my stuff from the idiots that drive here in Chilliwack. There horrible here to!!
Do it!
It’s getting bad here in Chilliwack, but Mike, it is tame compared to where I used to live, Richmond. One should take out life insurance there because I barely escaped from a lot of blind drivers. I sure got the hell out of dodge, dodge as in dodging idiot drivers.
Idk how many drivers even get there drivers license. I see careless driving all the time , I am legitly afraid to be on the road especially when it's raining or snowing.
8:10 the truck driver also crosses at a red light lol
In the first clip hes clearing the intersection instead of blocking it since he gauged that he has time...
True that - I ride a motorcycle in Vancouver (and even worse in Richmond...lol). It's an obstacle course out there, every single time. There's another moron every 200ft.
ya I went cycling through Richmond once and it was terrifying
Tips for driving in a Vancouver. Be in the defensive. Don’t ever try to prove a point by a accelerating if a driver tries to get into your lane. Never make a right turn when when the opposite side of the road has a protected left turn signal. Use the 3 second rule while driving on the highway. And a tip for BMW & Mercedes drivers... save money by removing the turn signal. You guys hardly use them 😄
Just really shows how much problems we have on bc roads. Icbc doesnt do anything
5:00 That's a pretty interesting maneuver. LOL
8:28 I don't get people that do that.
It's because they're dumb haha
Also, turning right on a red isn't running the light... There were a few of them where they were fine. I don't understand...
You can turn right on a red unless it is posted you can’t.
that blue mini can turn right on a red light !
White Mercedes SUV, always the worst.
If you pass the white line while the light is red, you've gone through the red light.
I like watching these without audio
best advice don’t look forward to 2020 😂
Yes, maybe 2022?
You need to post videos of people driving with snow on their cars covering every window. I have lots of footage to send you lol
The crazy thing is that I haven't seen one car with snow on their windows yet! It's a miracle
@@vancouversworstdrivers I'll send you some lol
Okay so this is funny. So you know when people argue that if you are driving to slow you "need" to pull over to the left lane to let people pass you on the right? Well the words are true, but not in the way people argue to justify speeding. So, here is the ICBC book and current Web test details. Not once does it ever say it is okay to speed other then maybe the use of the word " but".
"Appropriate speeds
Speeding is risky, but the safest speed isn’t always the slowest speed. If you drive much slower than surrounding traffic, other drivers might get frustrated and try to pass you.
Aim for a speed that’s appropriate for the conditions in which you are driving. The posted speed is the maximum for ideal conditions only. Choose a slower speed if the conditions are not ideal - for instance, if the roads are slippery or visibility is limited.
Unless a sign tells you otherwise, speed limits are:
• 50 km/h within cities and towns
• 80 km/h outside cities and towns
• 20 km/h is the maximum speed limit in a lane or alleyway within municipalities unless otherwise posted."

6:00 There's flashing lights at that crosswalk! Turn them on and be seen!
Agreed, the pedestrian needs to take responsibility for their own safety.... However, the lack of lights being activated does not absolve drivers of their legal obligation to stop in a marked crosswalk.
The crosswalks along Vic Dr between 1st Ave and Venables is super sketchy right now because the streetlights are so dim there, it gets dark really early right now and the rain makes visibility even tougher while driving through the area and there are loads of cars parked along the side blocking the view of pedestrians crossing. City hall really needs to install some flashing lights for those crosswalks.
You gonna get so many clips. Snow came to the lower mainland
Hahah I know I'm excited lol
What dash cam do most of these guys. I don't want a potatoes camera haha
Most of the time the quality is downgraded because of the way the file is sent over or by Instagram. Most dashcams film at 1080p but unfortunately it doesn't always show up as 1080p
You can't shoulder check in box trucks as there's no rear windows
All of those vehicles are required to have bubble mirrors so they don't have blind spots
Haha the 2nd clip omg he struggles with rights hows he do on lefts? Yay fitter113 another rider nice!.rally car them speed bumps😁.backing up in the rain and dark grrr😡bad idea. The guy that serves at the bike shld take that to the cops and he shld get a ticket.
That driver serving into the bike committed a criminal act, not just a driving offence. He or she is lucky the cyclist didn't come off the bike and injured or worse or they would likely be looking at serious jail time and a lifelong criminal record.
That M6 video is cringeworthy, 100 k car lol
I don’t think that the driver in the M6 is concerned about getting the car scratched. For the price of that car he’s got more money than brains, unless daddy bought it for him. Also, he could afford to get the car wrapped over and over.
Lol all the bad drivers
If we included all the bad ones we would be here all day haha
Your right
2:19 that ain’t in Vancouver that bus isn’t translink
literally BC drivers are the WORST off green lights with or without a phone. you couldnt pay BC drivers to go on green lights on time. especially turning signals, my god how is it at every turn signal only 2 or 3 cars max turn..
Lots of nice people out there. If you can’t find one, be one please
I'm actually surprisingly nice to these people I don't get in road rage...too often haha
Has anyone ever spotted themselves?
Not yet haha but someone in recognized their grandmother in one of the clips
Isn’t Richmond a Chinatown? You will less wonder if your visit China ones and see how they drive there
Take your time he said at the end, but earlier some of them are driving to slow for him :-)
Steinar Ingvaldsen Why are you confused by that? Drivers should should take their time (patience) when making mistakes or going places. That means not rushing, breaking the speed limit, changing lanes without indicating or changing multiple lanes at once. That does NOT mean going too slow for the indicated speed limit. None of this is complicated.

Enjoyed the clips and commentary.
The truck "from Calgary" was "I doubt from Calgary". But I have seen drivers here in Cowtown do the very same thing.
The Richmond BC'ers I'm going to agree are nuts. And the strange thing about "them". They complain the most about Alberta drivers. We're are saints by comparison friend. I will guarantee. I went to Richmond for an event more than a few years back.
We've all heard of and see "Road Rage". However in Richmond. They don't have that. Insterad in Richmond, they have "Retarded Road Rookie syndromes" . That's correct. Richmond has the highest percentage of the "RRRs" afflicted global population.
thanks!
No one:
Literally no one at all:
VWDD: Cal-Gary
*its pronounced Calgree ya dingus.
I've never heard that one before 😅

Omg Richmond drivers, shit I'm going to Richmond later for dinner... XD
I think all taxi drivers are getting pulled way too much
And you knew it was from CalGary how?
From the side of the truck lol
@@vancouversworstdrivers You did notice the suv changed lanes into the trucks blind spot?
@@brianfrise5177 all trucks shouldn't have blind spots they should have curved mirrors
Ipl add my 2 cents here... you are completely wrong with that pedestrian situation .... it was her fault. Step on the road and drivers will stop.... i dont need to guess if you are crossing the road or not. And that truck with the open cargo door.... maaan ... everybody makes mistakes and forgets something.... peoples ignorance caused all the mess there... its not hard at all to roll down the window and let him know
Asian drivers cause our high insurance rates.
I can’t say anything without sounding racist so I won’t say anything
"if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all" -Bambi hahah
No offense but I hate how he says cal Gary. Hahahah am from Calgary n that annoys the shit out of me hahahah
You are crazy super annoying! Some of these are funny, are they all submissions? Sadly we need more testing, police and reprimands for drivers. no point caring about rules when there are no one to enforce them. Oak Tree, it's because people just don't care. " I want to go there" is pretty much all that crosses the mind surely.
Title should say Asian worst drivers
Please enunciate clearly.
Plot twist: they are all Asian drivers.
omg, just as bad as russia!
Why almost all youtubers with similar content in Vancouver have moody voices, nasty manner of speech? So all their comments about situations on the road become so annoying!
...now I understand why older generation don't like millennials and why our reputation nowadays is so bad :D))
p.s. I always have to watch such videos without sound x))
First
Almost haha
Booooring 🤦♂️
