Actually tho. Still the craziest clip I’ve ever seen on a bike. Like not only did he slide under a semi. He fit thru a gap about 2 feet wide since the guy was rockin runners. The fact he didn’t have any control and fit through a gap like that is a fuckin miracle.

When I was 7 my mother told me not to ride my bike in traffic. That advice has served me well and now I've passed it on to the many, many people who never had a mother.

i know with those gas powered motor. (motor cycle)
i use motorcycle regularly to go anywhere and my parents who also use motorcycle taught me about the rule of size, you riding motorcyle/bycycle will always be more vulnerable than any type of transportation, so prioritized the large vehicle passing by, do not speeding, go to a edge of the road or shoudler and look around before you make a turn. It keep me safe riding for 10 years.

In Illinois at least, every expressway entrance has a big sign saying that non-motorized traffic is not allowed to use them.
I felt bad for everyone that had an accident, but laughed so hard at the people who were just being jerks.

A few years ago I had a bicycle accident and now when I see someone on a bicycle or someone falls in these videos although idiotic jerks do not make me laugh, it makes me remember how my wounds burned and I could not even sleep besides that out of nowhere it began to make a terrible strange smell and a strange liquid came out of them

Like, It's the result of being Dutch and cycling is not the subculture it tends to be in many other countries, but I never cease to be amazed by the utter lack of anticipatory behaviour of cyclists: They could've seen a car slowing down, they would see a traffic light and no moving traffic from other directions so they could have acted on all this visual information but nope, full speed ahead, even while having their view partially blocked by the box or whatever it is in that clip...

I've ridden bicycles for decades and I've been embarrassed and angered by what I see other bicyclists doing, I've even hollered at them and gotten into arguments with them, when they act stupidly it gives car drivers a bad attitude, i like seeing them fuc* up and fall or get fat tickets when they deserve it. But to be fair plenty of car drivers are oblivious to what's going on around them and drive like they're entitled too, especially women on cell phones, it's ridiculous, and on a bicycle where you're high enough to see down into the cab you can see a phone held near the bottom of the steering wheel, where cops often can't see them. Drivers texting while their one ton + death machine is moving is just ridiculous. So there's plenty of blame to go around on both sides. But dumb a** bicyclists running off the road, into sign posts, etc. good.

As for phone users, check out CyclingMikey in London, he videos them and sends the videos to the police who prosecute. Each one is a fine and 6 points on their licence.

Actually he was riding with his friend that day and their helmets were connected, his friend saw him go under the truck and didn’t see him come out. He was freaking out so the guy was telling him that he was ok

It looks like the car did something prior to that encounter that pissed off the cyclist. The cyclist chased them down and let them know he was unhappy. Sometimes this is the best type of lesson for morons who don't pay attention while driving 4000lb weapons around town. I've torn off windshield wiper blades before while administering a severe tongue lashing to the idiot driver. Now I prefer to pull up alongside, ask them to roll their window down then hit 'em with my 115db air horn. This is less likely to make them want to kill me lol.

He follows me to the gas station i pulled into to yell at me about my driving while waving a bike lock at me. Hes lucky he didnt get hit or shot.

The car behind mine almost crashed because the cyclist saw my car but came into the road anyways and I had to step on the breaks in intention not to hit him. I was literally shaking and yelled at him saying "there's a bike lane right beside you!" And he pretended nobody was talking to him and stayed in the traffic, it was me who had to swerve him 😅
