You inspired me to finally bite the bullet and install my locs via interlocking. I finished in a week cause mine are much much bigger. I feel so free and it feels so right
My sisterlocks were installed by a certified sisterlock loctician and yours looks ten times better than mine did. You did an AMAZING job! I took my sisterlocks out a few years ago, but I'm inspired to try putting them in myself now.
The response has been so positive because of the amount of work we can see you've put into this. This is not child's play. I can honestly appreciate this. Its very well done.
Queen! U did it. I don’t mean to sound overly familiar or condescending yet I can’t help it: so proud of u and happy for u! Ur tenacity is astounding! Awesome sauce sis👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I just want to say congrats, seeing this finished after all of your hard work and perseverance is extremely satisfying. We stan a patient black queen 🖤
You are a rockstar and referred by many other channels. I wanted Sisterlocks 3/4 years ago, but didn’t pull the trigger. I’m glad I waited because I don’t think I can do the upkeep on my own, twistouts are enough and I’m super super older than you with now some nerve damage in my fingers, complications from diabetes even though I’m managed, but the damage is done. Anyway, going to save and dish out the coin 😭. I’ve been natural since 2013 and it’s the natural transition and wished I would have done it years ago to my 4B/C hair. About to start my dissertation phase and in a new manager position in higher education, I do not have the time and want to keep my healthy hair I worked so hard on. Your hair is beautiful and you probably will never see this comment, but you are like the Naptural85 of loc journey and education! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👸🏽 👸🏽👸🏽
You have the kind of patience that GOD has w/me(THANK YOU GOD, FOR YOU ARE WORTY TO BE PRAISED!!!)! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos(watched some not all) and I appreciate the time and dedication you put into making them for us. Your microlocs turned out beeeeeautiful! Great job!💛
Congratulations and welcome to the loc nation. I started mine with braids but I remember the feeling when the last one was done. Going on 3 years now and I'm still in love with them.
Your detail and dedication to this is so admirable! I had my Sisterlocks installed in 2017, and I was wiped from just sitting there for two days 😩 The fact that you planned, calculated, and took time to install these alone over weeks is amazing!!! They came out great! 😍😍😍😍😍
I don’t have sister locks or micro locs. But small ones. Lol. I have around 220 and I interlock all of them. I’ve gotten my retie time down to 4 hrs. I put it in 4 sections and then take a break after finishing 1 section and move on to another. I just finished it yesterday and I’m still in love with this style. Wish I did it years ago.
It looks amazing! Congrats on finishing. I just started maintaining my sisterlocks. As to not overwhelm myself, I break it down into 4 sections. One section per nite over 4 days. Nice and easy. Can’t wait to see your locs mature. Loved the 2 braids!!!
You are helping people, making this style accessible to many and lifting the veil on how to obtain and manage these beauties. Keep it up young lady and I hope your PA program is going well. This is (I imagine) a great management style for your lifestyle. No more products to worry about!
QueenEleem I am so happy you did this. I will be installing mine in a few months and I am very grateful for your in depth tutorial on how to install microlocs on long natural hair.
It's been fun watching your loc journey; over 600 locs, now I won't cry when I retwist my locs which I just started a month ago. Excellent job on your hair, I'm sure it will be well worth your time.
I’m starting my parting process, I’ve made my own tool, and I’m so ready to start!! Thank you so much for this series, it’s been in valuable I’m sure you know, girrllll thank youuuuu
Congratulations! Welcome to the Club. Yay!!! I have Sisterlocs and loving the time I've gotten back in my life to do more important things...homework with kids.
CONGRATS on finishing! I started thinking about getting microlocks a couple of months ago and your videos have taught me so much. I work out just about everyday so it is so hard to maintain my natural hair and since I have been keeping it up in braids, which I love, I figured I might as well get my hair locked. I don't know if I have the patience to do my own but I will be getting some very soon. I look forward to see how you style your hair now.
Your journey has been quite exciting to watch. There was something so therapeutic in watching you install and go through all the stages of this (even though I'm sure you didn't share the same sentiment living through it lol). You've got my wheels turning now about doing this for myself 😏
Your hair looks absolutely fabulous. Cant wait to see you do reties. Please include how you set up your mirror or camera when doing reties. Many thanks from a UK fan
How did you wear your hair when you were installing them? They look great but I'm worried about how to style the grid sections. Maybe I need to buy some scarfs?
Congrats on finishing your microlocs! They're beautiful! 💕 I started mine with braidlocs and it's so wonderful to see others also sharing info on DIY locs. You did an amazing job!😊
You’re actually one of the people who convinced me that DIY microlocs were possible! Thank you so much for the kind words! I was really impressed when you took out the braids at the ends and redid them by interlocking!
I love that “I’m feeling myself” expression when you did your reveal. ❤️I can tell you’re proud of yourself as you should be! I’m proud of you too and super impressed by the commitment and precision. I adore the results!
Queen, you did an AMAZING job!!! Congratulations. If you don't mind me asking, had you gotten quotes from certified locticians (sp?) prior to you opting to do it yourself? If so, how much did they quote you?
Finally done!!!!!! I finished my install as well and you really helped me with my install. Your locs are beautiful and I can’t wait to watch your journey💕
Loved loved loved your series. I tuned in. And to watch how dedicated you are is inspiring. I can’t commit to locs just yet. But I’m going to try that braiding method for a year for health and growth. So for the next 3 days I plan on braiding my hair up for that journey. My hair grows fast over the average of 6 inches a year. So I would like to maximize that. Thanks for the great videos.
im planning to do the same, but I am fully aware this will e the most hair maintenance of my life doing reties. I'm a loose natural my whole life averaging about 1hour a week on my hair. I think I can do it!
Whew they look amazing!! You did it!! But it's probably going to take you a lot longer than 8 hours to retighten. Doing your own takes a lot more time than doing someone else's. It takes me about 8-10 hours still and I have about half as many as you. Not to discourage!!! I just want you to be prepared.
You has got to be a math teacher. LOL Absolutely beautiful. Very much looking forward to continuing to watch your journey. Keep us updated on some of your styles, opinions, how long before you will do your first retighting. Your micro locs look amazing. I have braid locs. And I just washed them and re tighten them as we speak. Great thing, I can not see the braids I did. YAY they completely look as if I started out interlocking them.
you did a excellent job!and I do think you have a lot of great info, the ruler and parting info is wonderful! I have sisterlocs since jan 3rd, I'd say my only advice is do LESS, you don't need to wash it as often, or put anything "product" in them often (if at all) and you honestly dont' need to band and braid (unless washing during the first year or if you have super soft hair) ACV should be a few times a year thing not every wash etc. I've shared your video and plan to follow to learn new things.
Congratulations! I know how you feel haha, I felt that way when I finished my mini twists/starter locs. But I think I may end up interlocking them to start them off on the right foot. This will be my second set of micro locs! Blessings on your journey! ❤
Congrats to your start! My locaversary is Jan 26! I started my locs with 2 stand twists. I washed my hair Friday and my shrinkage is real!!! But cute!🤗
I have Sisterlocks but damaged my hair with color...so I’ll be cutting them off once I let them grow out a little more and starting over but you have definitely inspired me to them myself... I know it can be done...I’ve actually started myself before but they weren’t right...I’ve taken the class and since seeing your video I am truly inspired
They turned out great! I can't believe you were able to do so many so neatly on your own. My scalp went crazy when I got my locs installed and everyone made it seem like washing your hair often was a terrible thing.. so I didn't. I almost lost my edges lol. If your scalp is telling you it needs to be washed please just ignore the nay sayers and wash it
Glad to be here,...I thought I had missed it. I’ve been watching and waiting to see the finished result. 668 locks✨ that is Awesome,...YOU are AWESOME !!!
Lovely, lovely, lovely! I've tried interlocking my 4 inch hair, but when I get to the bottom and try to use a tool to finish it, it's such a headache. My hair constantly slips out of the tool because it's short. Also, the few that I've done are pretty loose at the ends. There must be something that I'm missing.
Hello Queen your hair is beautiful you did an amazing job installing your own locs👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. My question for you is, where did you find or did you create that sizing tool you showed a few sessions ago?
That one dislike is from a bald headed chick... I love your locs queen
Alexandria Wilson lmao!
Facts! Lol
🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking a hating sisterlock consultant
😂😂

Mitylene Bailey can you share any tips i want to take the plunge but I’m afraid i won’t do it right

Congratulations!!!! You did it! You did it! You did it! Yay! (Dora song)
Lol I started singing it as the Dora theme immediately 😂
So did I lol
You did it! **sings along**

I just want to say congrats, seeing this finished after all of your hard work and perseverance is extremely satisfying. We stan a patient black queen 🖤
Honestly locs never looked so good. Absolutely gorgeous!

Your locks are BEAUTIFUL. They look no different from what a professional would have done. You did great. I love them
Girlll I have been sticking to your videos for more than 2 years and now I’m finally about to start my locs
Congratulations and welcome to the loc nation. I started mine with braids but I remember the feeling when the last one was done. Going on 3 years now and I'm still in love with them.
Finally! We can all breath a sigh of relief lol. Look forward to your future updates and vids in general.

Yaaaaay, another video!! You've been getting things done. Anytime you say you'll do something, you get it done promptly, I admire that 🙌🏿💪🏿
I am soooo in love with your locs and the achievement of doing this in 8 weeks is amazing. You have blessed hands.
.
Your locs are amazing 😻
It looks amazing! Congrats on finishing. I just started maintaining my sisterlocks. As to not overwhelm myself, I break it down into 4 sections. One section per nite over 4 days. Nice and easy. Can’t wait to see your locs mature. Loved the 2 braids!!!
You did it!!!!!! I almost cried too. I enjoyed watching your install series and I look forward to watching your new hair journey.
Congratulations Queen! Your hair looks beautiful. Not sure why anyone would give this thumbs down!
You are helping people, making this style accessible to many and lifting the veil on how to obtain and manage these beauties. Keep it up young lady and I hope your PA program is going well.
This is (I imagine) a great management style for your lifestyle. No more products to worry about!
Thank you 🙏 and yes! It makes my hair much more manageable for my lifestyle 😊

Congratulations!!! Yes, I have watched EVERY video in this tedious series and enjoyed every second. 💖
Congratulations on finishing your installation 🎉
I'm gonna be interlocking my hair soon but it definitely won't be micro but small. Thanks so much for this detailed series. Btw your hair is lovely 🙂
CONGRATS on finishing! I started thinking about getting microlocks a couple of months ago and your videos have taught me so much. Whoooo yep working out makes natural hair so much more maintenance 😅 I’m sure if a consultant installs them they’ll be just if not more beautiful!

Happy for you! Micros are quite the journey but well worth it. I love mine, and my Loc-aversary is Feb 11th.
How did you wear your hair when you were installing them? They look great but I'm worried about how to style the grid sections. Maybe I need to buy some scarfs?
Just found you! Beautiful microlocks! And you did such a great job!

Yayyyy you finished!!!!♥️
Gorgeous! I wonder what they would look like flat ironed???
Congrats sis!!! Looks great❤
Lovely, lovely, lovely! I've tried interlocking my 4 inch hair, but when I get to the bottom and try to use a tool to finish it, it's such a headache. My hair constantly slips out of the tool because it's short. Also, the few that I've done are pretty loose at the ends. There must be something that I'm missing.
You might have to start with coils or braids to start your locs and use interlocking for future maintenance
I have sisterlocks and watching this got me thinking I should have down the DYI route
yayay!!! so glad you finished! they look BEAUTIFUL!! 😍
Hello Queen your hair is beautiful you did an amazing job installing your own locs👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. My question for you is, where did you find or did you create that sizing tool you showed a few sessions ago?
This has been so amazing and informative... now all I need to decide is on the size and when to start it
Congratulations! Love your channel!
Congrats!!!! Love your hair girl and it’ll only get better.
Congrats. You have patience and your end result is amazing. You should do others hair in the future.
Love this! Thank you
Girl, I'm fighting the urge to get sister locks, but you are making difficult.
Why fight it? X) It seems like the idea is a heaven send for black women. Gorgeous long full natural hair AND low daily maintenance. OMG.
I was screaming, "YESSS finally!" When you finished. Great job!!
