Hey George thanks for the comment, I agree with you but yes your right it was aimed at getting people started with programming their own chord sequences
Yep, the trick is to find out whats causing the weird voicings and fiddle around with them from there. Move a few notes up and down, see how it changes the relationships between notes, etc
I completely agree! But sometimes just the term music theory can put people off learning. So hopefully this video will encourage students to dive deeper into the wonderful world of music theory :)
Holay Fack, I just know realized that was an headphones icon
I get you! The icon is so small! It’s hard to miss!
thank you sm for this bro
No problem!!
You get weird voicings doing it this way, although its not a bad idea for people just trying to learn the relationship between chords

You could just learn the music theory basics instead of ableton and also that every not moves the least possible distance and it's basically done.

If the music sounds cool the music sounds cool
Is this only in 11? Or is it this easy in 10 too?
I believe this is only In 11 and above 😭
isnt this triads?
Yes, which are chords, but you can apply this technique to add more notes in to the triad to create extension chords.
This is not on abelton 10
This is in Ableton live 11 and above
Just learn music…
Or buy a midi pack? 🤷
