I know you guys are Canadian, so I'm not sure if you caught that B.M. Werken would also make his initials BMW and Detroit was a popular hub for vehicle manufacturing back in I think the 80's to 90's. When the plants moved to other areas, things got pretty damn dire for Detroit and I don't think it's recovered since.
Not sure if anyone else has commented this, but I’m pretty sure B. M. Werken is a reference to BMW, and D-TROIT is just an homage to every automaker from Detroit.
Dr. Wily actually abducted Kalinka, the daughter of the good Dr. Cossack, in Megaman 4...so even the daughter is a ripoff from a Megaman game. EDIT: Oh, and some promotional art for the series showed Kalinka kissing Megaman before.
I think Dr. B. M. Werken is supposed to be a play on words on BMW the car manufacturer and Werk which is what car production plants in Germany are called.
I think 12 is the number of braincells amongst the entire dev team and all of them were being hoarded by the company's leader and only thinking about money
I just realized the two scientists have car based names. Detroit which is where the big three American companies are located. And B.M. Werken which is BMW
CID the game had so much potential n would’ve been phenomenal if they were at least OG with the story. Story: Set in an dark dystopian cyberpunk world ruled by the evil D-Troit making an army of evil test dummies with the ability to survive impacts n cause dangerous harm if thrown at targets at the right speed. Then we see the good doctor working for D-Troit BM Werken implanted a human emotion chip in the titular character CID, where his genuine love n care for the dummy labeled CID as a defective droid-like dummy that needs to be destroyed n the good doctor is arrested n kidnapped. Leaving him on his own after being forced to escape; giving him a mission to find n rescue his father figure while being hunted down by D-Troit n his evil robots, dummies, n humans he has to fend himself, n even kill considering how he is probably the most potentially dangerous dummy if he were to ever go in combat, reluctantly using his powers. As his journey continues, he slowly learns human emotions n would eventually lead a following with humans on his side to create a revolution to fight n defeat D-Troit once n for all. Gameplay: Set in 3-D with a smooth graphical neo-noir setting in a 360 degree angle. While he can survive impacts, he will lose his parts n has to put himself together, or its game over by the time he is a head. Less action, more stealth. He can never be seen by other humans as he fears they will freak out n try to kill him or inform D-Troit of his whereabouts. He can also hide in tight places by separating his parts to make him concealable. He can still use weapons like a bazooka, or even a pistol, mostly on robots as he refuses to harm humans; but his body can’t handle much weight so he has limited capacity n has to make his shots count, making the gameplay semi-realistic n intense. Have him able to hack into computer systems to gather information without getting caught to find clues of his father figure n use it to manipulate humans into helping him get out of situations. If he were to use combat, he can do spin attacks with his arms, blast people with his head like a cannon, dodge n do counter attacks with his limbs.
i think Cid would work better as a serious yet comic relief character, he's different than the other dummies who have no problem with their roles as test subjects but Cid is more emotional and wishes to be some sort of big shot because he's cocky and finds life more of a playground than anything else, but after he's put into a dangerous journey by B.M Werken, Cid experiences some difficulties in his carefree life...he witnesses how dangerous life is outside the factory and he had to fight for his life multiple times defeating evil dummies and having to save other people from death, he doesn't think much of the others and their feelings until the right moment hits, Cid simply acts like a idiot but cares for his friends and wishes to become a legendary hero of some sorts, I'm planning on becoming a writer and if i ever get a chance to buy the rights to this franchise then I'd definitely love to turn this entire series around as Twelve clearly doesn't care enough to do it themselves. also if this game for rebooted then i believe this should be a 3d level beat em up type of game, with combat mechanics like mortal kombat shaolin monks which definitely fits Cid's style seeing how much he loves using his fists
@@OGplushvideos I wish u luck. Although I still personally think a dark stealth cyberpunk setting would fit the game considering that the dummies r like robots due to their aluminum n steel bodies.

9:47 ICE YA DINGUS I love that part
"not such a dummy, now Emma?"
I really love "its just bad" section of your channel.
Infact its the whole reason I watch your channel 😊
Love from 🇵🇰
Also the section with multiple candidates for Worst Console Ever (although no such list would be complete without the Laughing Joking Numbnuts Video Art)
6:55 Oh look, the Omnitrix.
True fact this game was ported to the Switch under the name Crash Dummy
Part 2. -_-‘
I won’t spoil anything, but the switch port looks pretty different, from the gameplay footage I’ve seen. Definitely worth another video!
WHAT!?!?
@@rerez Can't wait, I only knew about that Switch game till now not that there was a legacy which led to it.
Is it just as bad?
adom: what about hard water?
shane: What are you talking about?
Adom: Ice, you dingus!
There are no words that I can express that shows how thankful I am that a land mine like this flew under my radar while holding up on the joystick.
I laughed so hard at the "level summary" screen part, ultimate gaming trolling
3:21 He sounds like a bored high school version of Maximillion Pegasus
9:47 “What? I don’t-“
“Ice, ya dingus!”
The one good thing about the game is the naruto running on 10:44
Then Cid crashes into a wall and hurts himself.
Lmao, that dummy saved a girl just to roast her infront of her father. That dummy is just savage!
5:19 nice callback

I’ll see myself out, ladies and gentlemen.
Oh my gosh 😂 I love it
Me and my little sister watched and laughed so hard! We quote this so often! I actually bought this game and gave it to her as a present and it is the best reaction I have gotten from a present XD
11:02 A ghost hole? *did you mean: The Ghost Zone*
Never thought I'd see someone make a Danny Phantom reference here.
@@Masterge77 c'mon, we all thought it!... Right? lol

No joke, the voice actors in this game are actually completely unknown. Even the MobyGames site doesn’t list any voice actor credits. My guess was this game was so bad that none of the voice actors wanted their names listed in the credits.

4:03:this may sound like an r/woosh,but Julia Child died in August 13,2004.Just pointing out(but the voice actor does sound julia child ngl)
How do you know if the game began development after she died?
What if they put her voice there before she died
@@geraldiscool420when this game started to be developed in the first place? At least the prototype or something like that
You managed to find a garbage Wii game I never saw in the discount bins, at Odd Lots or at a used games shop... That's pretty impressive!
4:39 not such a dummy now, am I
Gee, cid. I think you're such a dummy.
Megaman's plot + Crash Bandicoot's running animation + Final Fantasy battle theme + Crash Test Dummies + Fat Boy's Weapon of Choice + Terrible puns for names + Horrible motion controls + Cutscenes that drag on and on + Graphics that look like an early Playstation game + Julia Child + Uncredicted voice actors + Bubsyitis + Money Ghost = C.I.D The Dummy
"SHE DOESN'T HAVE A MOUTH!" Freaking died there. XD
How did she kiss him?

no! *_yeeesss_*
14:15 One of my favorite quotes from a YT Game Review ever
I know you guys are Canadian, so I'm not sure if you caught that B.M. Werken would also make his initials BMW and Detroit was a popular hub for vehicle manufacturing back in I think the 80's to 90's. When the plants moved to other areas, things got pretty damn dire for Detroit and I don't think it's recovered since.
Not sure if anyone else has commented this, but I’m pretty sure B. M. Werken is a reference to BMW, and D-TROIT is just an homage to every automaker from Detroit.
C.I.D the dummy: make d-troit cry like an anime fan on prom night
You sure this isn't the dollar tree version of megaman?
edge lord
You’d be better off getting mighty Number 9
As a Michigander, I can confirm that the city of Detroit would make a shitty supervillian.
Dr. Wily actually abducted Kalinka, the daughter of the good Dr. Cossack, in Megaman 4...so even the daughter is a ripoff from a Megaman game.
EDIT: Oh, and some promotional art for the series showed Kalinka kissing Megaman before.
Tekki Kiraito
And lots of fans ship her with Protoman.
That's a really good catch! Yeah this IS ripoff Megaman.
Azrial Alaria
She also looks like Tron Bonne.

I recently found the channel and I have to say I hav so much fun going through the old and new content.
Tested? That's for the other dummies! This game was strictly _impacted_ and never tested!
I think Dr. B. M. Werken is supposed to be a play on words on BMW the car manufacturer and Werk which is what car production plants in Germany are called.

Spoiler Alert: Mega Man Wins.
The scientist's name is B.M.? That's too hilarious and on the nose. That can't be coincidence 😂
I still don't get what his name means lol
I think 12 is the number of braincells amongst the entire dev team and all of them were being hoarded by the company's leader and only thinking about money

I just realized the two scientists have car based names. Detroit which is where the big three American companies are located. And B.M. Werken which is BMW

CID the game had so much potential n would’ve been phenomenal if they were at least OG with the story.
Story:
Set in an dark dystopian cyberpunk world ruled by the evil D-Troit making an army of evil test dummies with the ability to survive impacts n cause dangerous harm if thrown at targets at the right speed.
@@maxxgunner5573 thank you, i think both of our ideas is probably better than whatever Twelve has done anyways lol
