Seriously if they wanted this games combat to be projectile based then it would have worked perfectly for the Lightspeed Rangers specifically. For any non-ranger fans reading this the Lightspeed Rangers were a military made ranger team that were much more likely to use weapons and tools to waste their enemies than any other ranger team before them, meaning the dev's could have literally stuck a gun in any of their hands and it would be a non-issue.

This is probably my favorite episode of the series. It's just so funny!
Somewhere a tear just streamed down Linkara's face and he doesn't know why.
One of the rare occasions "It's just bad" *doesnt* have the game as the first words
9:37 Joel, the Green Ranger is known as The Sky Cowboy for his aerial stunts. Of course, when the Rangers are displaced around Mariner Bay, they can call him to help and pick them up.
I'm glad that you got their visor shapes correct on the thumbnail.
I remember AVGN reviewing this game

What do you get when you take Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Voltron, Saved by the Bell, and put ‘em all together? You get Power Rangers!
@@dellorto84 It was like an extended toy commercial
I played this game on N64 as a kid...
I forgot it existed until watching this.. Thanks
I remember wanting this game so bad even though I had stopped watching power rangers at this point
you guys put so much work into videos and its really cool
After JDF's passing, I chose to view this again to cope
“Putrid cluster-fart train wreck dumpster slop inferno of a vile runny sewage mess” is the most raw description of a bad game I’ve ever heard
Aw, got excited this might be a video about that Power Rangers PS1 game I had. All my memories of it are bad, I never even finished it lol. I think that was Time Force though, not Light speed rescue.
I have really good memories of the PS1 version.... Though that could be because I played it with my sister in two player mode a lot and that's what I remember most about it
Megazord vs. Big Goo was the most impactful fight scene ever made
NintenDONT play this game! It’s just bad.
Love your work as always, guys!! 😁
I remember playing this around the time of this video I glad you covered this game and also YAYY!
YES. By FAR one of the best channels on UA-cam 🤙🏼❤️
It's a shame because lightspeed rescue was a great season.
"A new Rerez video Is out."
Me: *YAAAAAAAY!*
It’s kinda sad because the SNES era of games were Bandai joints with a bit more care than your average shovelware. Decent beat em ups, a fighting game that used the Japanese engine for Endless Duel, etc. Then this came along.
12:49 The funny thing is, this is the instrumental of the show’s theme lol
So fun fact, in Japan, light speed rescue was called, kyukyu Sentai GoGo 5, which roughly translates to rescue team GoGo 5, and GoGo roughly translates to mean hurry, rumbling or similar.
"Main Objective: Shoot Goo." To be fair, that's been my main objective since about puberty, so...
I'm pretty sure that's been everybody's main objective as some point after puberty....
I dont know why, but I always find it hillarious when someone reads all caps words much louder since it is technically still correct XD
2:22 Looks like a mix between M. Bison from Street Fighter and Billy Blazes from Rescue Heroes.
"Rescue Commander Keen and... *_ROCK._* "
God I'm fucking crying lmao
This is one of the ones that got me growing up. Infact I still own it. Its Definately not a good game but despite that ive actually played quite a few hours of it back in the day.
TBH, the cutscenes look like they are animated in powerpoint 95
Man!
It sucks that this game is like this!
The Power Rangers are a great IP!
They are so diverse and so cool!
And their martial arts are amazing!
How could this happen?!
So glad my algorithm suggested you guys. Love this channel and I will make sure to take some tips from here for my channel. That intro was epic lol.
😂🤣 oh my god, YAY!!! Definitely needs to become a meme.
I came for the 7-Oop. I was not disappointed
That intro was Freakin hilarious 🤣
Funnily enough, the music they were trying to replace at the end actually is the Lightspeed Rescue theme song
OMG, that yellow ranger runs like she's holding her sh*t really hard 🤣.
