Bakugo's Voice actor really nailed it in this episode.
Yeah, so did his Seiyuu. Nobuhiko Okamoto's performance made me cry more than Clifford's did

One of the best quotes of the entire series, in my opinion, was when they were fighting and Midorya said, "All Might was my hero, but you were the one actually in my life." I think it just shows Kacchan how Midorya really felt about him.
And it was that moment Kacchan began to respect Deku. Not that he'll ever admit it.

It really irks me a lot of people say Bakugo was throwing a tantrum here. It wasn't a tantrum- that's an anxiety attack caused by overthinking and stressing himself out- this episode was the one to make me cry

People often forget while Kacchan may be....is an hotblooded asshole, he's still a child with feelings and this does breaks my heart to see him vulnerable and guilty for All Might's retirement
He doesn’t need a license to fight in the training area, and he’s not fighting villains. The license has no effect here.

He does need a license to use his Quirk without the supervision of any teacher in a public area.

The best episode in the series so far seen it 10 times hats off to the voice actors especially Bakugo's how he still has a voice amazes me.
I completely agree but I would say that ep 4 was on par with this. Although personally speaking, this is my favourite of this season.
I love how the camera stops switching between them, and shows them both when it replays the line, 'do you think I can be a hero, too?'
It's a nifty little way to emphasize that this is the primary goal, and also greatest insecurity for them both.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate Aizawa....Such a great teacher.

Bakugou is the most popular character in the series. He gets first in the popularity polls by landslide everytime. I also love Bakugou.

I notice a lot of reactors only bring up the fact that bakugo blames hisself for all might and they forget or overlook how he felt about deku, “ it’s obvious you’ve always looked down on me since we were kids” we all know that deku loves to help ppl because we know alot more about him but we didn’t know enough about bakugo, thru his eyes he felt like deku was helping him because deku felt like kacchan was weak when he felt like he could take care of himself which was hurting his pride, and as a child with no one to guide him he didn’t have the help needed for this, so he had to cope with it the best way he knew how which in his eyes was to look back down on deku, especially since he knew he was stronger so when all might (both of there idols) chose deku and he “ended all might” it caused way too many emotions for him to even think straight which lead to this fight, I don’t think his actions are justified but what can you expect from a child with no guidance
I feel like most ppl understand this about his character though, including reactors. In season 1 Bakugo is so surprised and upset when he first sees that Deku has a quirk that he immediately rushes at him. He believed that Deku was hiding his quirk from him to make him look foolish. Bakugo is always flashing back to that moment when he falls in the lake and Deku tries to help him up. Every time he remembers that it makes him more angry. As you said in your comment, it’s because in his mind Deku was looking down on him. In that moment he believed that Deku thought of him as weak. So I feel like this aspect of Bakugo is well established by the 3rd season. Everyone brings up the fact that Bakugo blames himself because, like All Might, we forget that he’s still just a kid. Most ppl who watch this show are well aware of his insecurity, even though they might push that aside and just boil him down to a one note angry guy. But seeing that Bakugo blames himself for what happened to All Might is so shocking that every reactor I’ve watched has been surprised by it. No one had any clue that he felt that way.
Bakugo episodes are ALWAYS bangers
My favorite thing about this episode is how obvious it is. Of course Bakugo feels personally responsible for All Might's retirement. But you just don't think about it.
The best twists are the ones you don't see coming but in hindsight were obvious
@Suzy Lu: Do you remember the scene when Katsuki came back to his mother? After his kidnapping? She said to him: It is your fault that you were kidnapped because you were too weak. So he got this from his own mother. Which I find very sad here related to the episode.
Well you are partly correct, but you're also very wrong. He was already feeling like it was his fault since it happened, not because of what his mother said. While her words didn't exactly help, she isn't the reason he felt this way as he was already feeling that way before

Such a great episode!! I love bakugou's character development and his improvement friendship with midoriya, they are literally complete each other. You defenietly will love and crying with the 2nd MHA movie "Heroes Rising" But you can watch it after s4 if i'm not wrong
You can watch it after S4, although it's better to watch it midway through Season 5, in order to dodge some minor spoilers.
I wanted to tell you that last episode but I thought this episode will make you understand, some punches can do what talking can't, specially for boys.

This fight had to happened. Kacchan stated in his own way that he considers him a rival and Deku needed this to see how he stacks up. He always held shoto and kacchan higher than himself. This shows him that he deserves OFA.
Now they have a healthy rivalry in their own way now.
Sometimes guys just need to let out a little aggression to move forward.

Always my favorite to see when people actually realize how good of a character Bakugo is when they hate him at first.

We all did. At least, I did when I first saw this fight. I thought Midoriya had him! Maybe even a KO punch! Underestimated Bakugo's determination.

@@johnvilla9632 they’re about to have round 3 and Bakugo has some new moves he wants to test out. Pretty sure he’ll lose, but Im sure it won’t be an easy win for Deku.
@@nsampone3 oh yea for sure. If anything, Bakugou's the one that will give Deku the most trouble to fight off. In the end though, as you said, Deku will still win. Bakugou already got his win over Deku and Deku has gotten really strong during the war arc and afterwards. But it will definitely be an amazing fight to see again with their current progress.

bakugos va is amazing in this really pushing the pain the character is in and how much it is paining the bakugo that all might retired on a mission to save him also people say that bakugo could have just talked about this to somone but no he couldnt since he is hot headed and he got it out the way he knows all be it an agressive way

I've seen this episode in three languages and all of Kacchan's voice actors do such a phenomenal job. I really love this episode too. Kacchan's my favorite character and it hurt me so much to see him down like this >_

I have the theory that bakugo has to be stressed because he produces nitroglycerin sweat which lowers blood pressure and slows heart rate. Therefore he needs a reason to raise his blood pressure all the time. This is just a theory and only one reason he is always stressed

Bakugo's voice actor in the English dub is great but I think the sub version is in a way better. Don't get me wrong I watched the first four season of MHA in English dub. However I did watch season 5 sub at the time cuz one I was impatient to wait for the whole season to come out in dub and the fact that there would be spoilers in the internet and all so I watched the subbed version which honest got me to like both sub and dub
Man, once I get to the point in my fanfic. The ending is going to be very different.

Suzy, see here, that fight was ABSOLUTELLY necessary, kacchan psyque is at danger there, his reputation as a hero permanently damaged, no matter what, public opinion will forever recognice him as the kid that ended allmight, his pide in the floor, and the kid he secretly envied (emotionally speaking) making more progress and results than him... Had they not fought, he actually might had turned a villan, sad, because he admire heroes and allmight even more than deku
