    I eat sunflower seeds on a regular basis and pumpkin seeds unsalted I luv sunflower oil I buy it on a regular basis 😊

    Its one of my stables in smoothies, along with other kinds of seeds like pumpkin, Hemp and Chia. Mainly for the high protein/fat content in all of them.
    Its perfect for people working out and are on a Keto diet.

    I used to toast them and make sunflower butter, it was delicious.
    In my vilage at Thrace people were using sunflower seed oil but originaly in more ancient times were using sesame seed oil.

      There isnt enought to actually affect you unless you are eating an incredibly unbalanced diet. Thats like talking about steak and saying but there's saturated fats that are bad for your heart hahaha, of course there are, thats why you eat balanced and excercise and boom steak is good for you again. Mentioning phytic acid is pretty stupid.

    I sprout them. Actually microgreens. They are amazing. Cut them before the true leaves come out.

      Take a 1/4 cup twice a day and you'll notice the difference in your health. No more inflammation, no more thyroid problems,, no sore muscles. And whatever else ails you. They really will do your body good.😊

    you forgot to mention chlorogenic acid. Mix the seeds with baking soda and they turn green because of the acid

    They have found that a lot of Alpha Tocopherol is bad for you. That's a shame because I like sunflower seeds :(

      Food sourced vit e is mixed tocopherol not isolated single form alpha tocopherol usually cheap synthetic and no good for you. Always choose whole foods first and food sourced supplements second to get your nutrients.
