Additionally we pay higher taxes and monthly fees for the universal healthcare and it can take months to see any kind of specialist (including psychiatrist) on the public healthcare option. Beyond that what do either of those things have to do with the military budget? We are the only democracy in the Middle East, the US and rest of the western world knows that if the Arabs win, it’s a matter of years before the caliphate sweeps through the rest of the world.
