So many shows! Awesome! I hope you aren’t burned out because this is a lot of work my man.
I’m going to college soon so I’m trying to get out as many as I can before then. It’s hard to get burned out when you enjoy the work though!
@@DaveSmith_ that’s dope! I started in high school as well. Now I’m an orchestra director at a hs lol. Crazy how fast time goes by
Great work
Why do I watch this before watching the actual show? I don’t know, but I do know I’m going to watch the actual show right now 👍
fire
anyone auditioning on trumpet for 2024, the segments are 1:49 3:51 and 7:34 :)
finally someone who got the tuba part right at 1:35
I saw so many transcriptions that didn't have the D, Bb, and G in that rhythm, others either left a note out or had the wrong rhythm entirely.
Great transcription!
Only thing I saw wrong was the two trombone and tuba feature at 4:05, the top trombone in the actual performance is playing B, B, A#, B, A#, B, G, not the A naturals like you have written. Same error in m 152 a bit later.
Other than that really solid stuff!
Edit: also, the B to A and A to B quarter notes in m 154 top trombone are glissed, and the half notes in m 155 are both glissed back and forth between both trombones. Small detail, but you included other glisses so I figured why not these.
Thanks for the feedback! Glisses in musescore are weird and don’t sound how they should so I only include them if they actually sound like a gliss.
While the rhythm and pitches are accurate at 1:35, it’s missing the low octave split for it :(
IF YOU EVER DO BLUE STARS REMIND ME. IM IN LOVE WITH ABSENTHIA
Take another look at the opener, specifically the low brass parts/the brass features
Michael
Thanks for the feedback! I’d appreciate some time stamps to see where exactly you’re looking

@@jon4766 that’s a violation
@@DaveSmith_don't minds then they don't know how to respect hard work. Keep it going dude
Where's the Musescore 4 audio yo, this could sound so much better
I personally don’t prefer it over Musescore 3 but during this offseason, I might play around with it more to see what I like on it. My original opinion on Musescore 4 was that it sounded more like concert band than marching band. Just my opinion though
It kind of does but I think it’s more accurate to live groups. Of course that’s just my opinion but that what I use when I’m writing shows.
2:00 SUCH A GOOD MOMENT, i can only imagine how cool that sounds with real players
You can just look up the actual show/group
Gotta love the overtones getting transcribed as a note!
The whole thing is close but not perfect slight notes/rhythms inaccuracies through the whole show but good job
