Did the drive from Orlando to Atlanta as well, and took two people to their first ever DCI show. It was a blast!
Hotel cancelled our room so we did the drive back on the same day.
Went to watch them rehearse on July 28th. And then the show on the 29th. They look and sound incredible. You're right about Flo not doing justice with their recordings.
Also, I hope this video stays up. My videos from their rehearsal got a copyright strike.
The fact that the corps is 96% new is the amazing part of all of this. And yes, Flo doesn’t do any corps any justice whatsoever.

I mean it is Carnival of Venice so that is how it is meant to sound lol.
@@BerserkRain I’ve heard carnival of Venice, I can feel the pulse in it. Even when the front ensemble and low brass plays it. But I don’t understand the piccolo solo.
@@recastle8051 because the solo in Carnival of Venice is played by a trumpet or on picc typically and they probably went with picc since it gives more of the colorful circus feel.
Maybe its played slightly out of time purposefully. Either that or its on really weird counts

You make no sense. I work with both style bands and many different artist. Music is art and open to multiple different unique expressions. Hubba Doc and Dr Greggs both admired and supported Bands of all styles. Do your research or shut up. Even Haymer and Little took his students to watch DCI
