With respect, there's nothing safe about limp mode. My first involved a DEF tank heater failure, in the summer, 137 miles from Whitehorse, YT. I backtracked to the Chevy dealer in Whitehorse and waited a week for a new tank.
My second involved limping along I95 north, then spending a weekend at the SC welcome center waiting for a tow to dealer for a NOx sensor.
Both incidents put me and my family in a very unsafe situation and, worse, were completely unnecessary. The EPA is unemcumbered by common sense.

Thanks for your video. It’s very helpful. On the other hand, when you took apart sensor assembly, revealed the 4 prongs that makes contact with the other part, for me I would have bent them a little bit to make them touched more firm, and reinstall them,to see if it runs better….

Do you know what would cause slow/delayed acceleration from stop to moving? My new used car seems to have delayed acceleration and then sort of surges as the car catches up to the level that the pedal is being pushed. The car is a 2017 Acura MDX.

Only problem, if this happens on the freeway, then the car is totaled when you're rear ended because the computer in the car won't give you enough power to safely get to the side of the freeway!!
