Are typically spraying with paint thinner? Or mineral spirits?
We freak'n love this one!!! You never fail to impress us with your abilities but just one question... how do you space out the letters of the words without drawing them in first and have them be centered in the banner? When you painted the words 'Walk-ins Welcome' and 'Tips Appreciated' you didn't follow a drawn line and yet they were in the exact middle with the same amount of space before and after the phrases.
Awesome thank you so much! It's really faint but when I'm doing a casual style lettering like that, I give my self a top line and a base line then, put some slanted lines the represent the letters so I have a vague idea of where everything goes. Does That make sense hahaha

It's just water, since I'm making a faux rust, the water makes the acrylic paint thin and transparent and runny. Hope that helps! Thanks for asking

Care to share your recipe for fake rust or is it top secret? Love the ghost look on this one.
Not at all! It's all just acrylic paint. I find 3 rust colored hues the just start layering them on each other, a little more of a dry brush. Then to make it look like it's rust that has run, I'll dab a little paint then hit it with a spray bottle and let gravity pull the color down. Hope that helps!
