Thanks so much to all my subscribers, this has been a really good month of growth for the channel, and it's been fun getting to respond to your comments and emails. If I haven't responded to an email yet, hang tight I'm working on it. ✌️
Until then here's another video to watch ua-cam.com/video/xD4VPXJCr6o/v-deo.html
Painting on glass? who knew you could do that? Great looking Tiki bank! 👍 😁
Ha it's super awkward too!
Really dig the style, and approach.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Good job u are a pretty skilled painter.👍
Thank you very much!
So much win here! Amazing wood texture, that bright yellow outline, the sneaky idea to put the images on the inside of the jar. I'm continually gobsmacked by how you capture so much texture and depth in a two-dimensional image with only some clever brush strokes for highlights and depth. Also, this gave me an idea for an "image on a jar" project of my own! Keep makin' videos and keep inspiring us other creative types!
Awesome, thank you Velo! I appreciate your continued support, hope to see your image on a jar idea come to live.
Good stuff man. That green makes the tiki pop big time. I need to try that color out.
Hey Bryson! Totally does, I dig that green, Kansas City teal, and Coral is my favorite 1shot colors
@@IronGordon Ive been doing my practice casuals in coral the last few days. I dig that one for sure! Haven't seen the teal, i'll have to check that one out too.
Well done Gordon thats impressive! That art jar to me is worth more than any money they gonna put in there!!
👏🏻🙂
Thanks Mauro!
Looks great man. Congratulations on the 6K. You have mad skills and a great flow to your videos, so I'm not surprised.
Thank you! It's been quite a ride lately. Thank you for watching!
Wow nearly 6k followers mate, your channel is flying 👍awesome job, amazing work, left a Big THUMBS Up 👍👍👍👍👍jonny
Thank you! It really came out of nowhere
Wonderful work on this. Nice use of the sublime green. It really made the tiki character pop!
One thing I’ve found, is that if you have a design that needs to be sanded for adhesion, you can use glass etching paste, or sandblasting to etch out the masked off areas to provide adhesion there. It also creates some really cool effects for eyes and teeth, while leaving them partially transparent. You can add back lighting, or backwards painting if you can access the back of the glass surface. Depending on the design and use of the product, you can even protect the back paining with clear coat or protective tape. It really allows for back lighting and 3 dimensional paintings especially on flat glass in a shadow box style design.
Cheers!
Thanks! I have never heard of glass etching paste honestly, thanks for the tip!
Another beautiful job, you are the man!
Hey look who it is! Any videos in the near future?

Found your channel from a sticker on a gas pump at a Chevron gas station haha, nice vids!
Haha nice! I mail out free stickers all the time, so it's always fun to see where they end up
Sick jar

@@IronGordon no problem bro
Looks awesome mate! Very nicely done :)
Thank you!
I love doing different things that I have never done before, the only problem is figuring out how to price them, lol
Always an issue with us artist for hire types hahaha
This is awesome
Appreciate it thank you!
Nice
This is killer. I love your work. I have to find something to ship to you to paint! :D
Hey Kegan! Appreciate it
Another dope piece!!! I was actually just planning on doing a small piece on a glass jar for my brother, now I know the process so that I don't screw it up !! Awesome video, thanks for the knowledge brutha.🤘😎
Nice, I only scuffed with sandpaper the area with a lot of painted area. The lettering I did not sand because the scratch marks would show. If your using 1shot mix a little hardener into it first 👊👊
man looks gret on glass
Appreciate it!
I'm extremely interested in trying to do some personalized looks for my motorcycle helmets, what's a good brush to use as a beginner?
Hellyea
Appreciate it!
I love your art! Can you tell me what paint brushes you use for your lettering. Thanks
Thanks I use mack lettering quills. There is a link in the description of this video for them if you are interested.
Gotta know where you got the aluminum xacto handle.
Made it out of another knife. I literally carry it on my pocket every day.
