Thanks, youtube algorithm. I was just wondering how to wire a fuel pump!
Thanks for watching!
@@EliminatorPerformance No problem! Great video, well shot, well explained. Keep up the good work!
Good move on your part to let your customer decide if they want to jump the seat switch since you assume the liability issues if you do it. I have watched your other videos that you have mentioned your business does not disable safety switches and only jumper them for testing purposes only! Good job moving the fuel pump power from seat switch to key operation. When i watched the first video on this mower i thought it questionable that the fuel pump was wired off the seat switch power.
Thanks for the great vid.
Good job , Normally the safety features are not disconnected . But the costumers wiring caused this problem which was fixed .
The wiring is fixed, the mower operational, and my customer happy! Thanks for watching!
Great job, and thanks for the video's.
Thanks for watching!
Good day Boy that was quite a mess at beginning.. I'm glad you got it fixed because further in you went, more confused I got till the end. Good video Thanks & Happy Thanksgiving to you
Thanks for watching Don, happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well!
Nice job.
Thanks for watching!
What pto clutch was used for this swap? Thanks
Mr. Eliminator Performance. Great video....as usual. I live in Cornwall, Ontario. I am considering purchasing a ride-on -mower. Do you have any recommendations?
We have the usual big box stores here. Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Home Hardware, etc..... Many thanks EP!
What is the psi on that fuel pump cause I was thinking about doing the same thing but I was told that it would be way too much. Or least the part number for that pump.
Good video and well done! Question, I'm getting ready to add an electric fuel pump. I see the one on this tractor looked like a Facet pump. Do you remember what the psi was? I'm looking at the 1-1.5 or the 1-2psi. I see from some videos that guys that are putting a pump on with higher pressure then are having to add a pressure regulator and adding a tee to the line and running a hose back to the tank for the excess gas that generally floods out the carb when idling down. I couldn't tell if the tractor had any of that on there. Thanks, Mike
Did you ever find a 1-1.5 pump? Im about to do the same with my 316 but only finding 2.5 - 4 psi pumps
Good video! Good god that was a lot of ads tho.
Thanks for watching Bruce, and it would seem that UA-cam is experimenting with ads lately, sometimes they play, sometimes they don't...
I only had one very short ad during the video, seems to be random whether you get ads or not.
Best wishes
Pete.
@@Pete.Ty1 thanks for the info, and thanks for watching Pete!
Where did you run your return line from, before or after the fuel pump?
Pumps don't always need a return line, as long as the pump isn't over-pressurizing the system. In the event that a fuel pressure regulator is needed, it will act as a bypass valve, and redirect extra fuel after the pump, back into the fuel tank. This is more needed on vehicles due to the heat caused by the pump, the expansion and extra unused fuel. This pump simply had an inlet and outlet. You can purchase riding lawn mower fuel pumps with certain flow rates, that should not need return lines.
Or you can just connect the pump to the positive of fuel solenoid.
Nice, too bad the tractor doesn’t have the positive battery lead wrapped in red insulation. Prevents mistakes.
Thanks for watching! And just have to be careful when hooking up the battery connections!
Disconnect the fuel solenoid wires and connect them to the electric fuel pump because when you turn the key the fuel is going to be cut off anyway
Why not just cut the whole bigger to fish the wires through?
Remove the fender, it’s simple.
