Tried it on my plow truck. No way it would start that. Ordered a good AGM type jump pack. Thats the way to go. Works great getting my tractor and plow truck running. Gave the brick to my Son. Good for when you leave your lights on at the mall.
Thanks for the input for others in different climates. I’ve never tried to use any of these in super cold climates considering the coldest I see in my area is 35-40.
The Alpha Man... LMAO~~~ The NOCO GB40 is probably the BEST portable charger as far as the included case and all aesthetics. I have used it 4 times to Jump Start a few different vehicles. I Learned awhile ago from a Motorcycle Lithium Battery that you let the lights warm up the battery for a few minutes before cranking the starter. This makes the battery easier to start. As you probably know it's the COLD weather that kills the batteries cranking power. Same thing with these chargers.. let them charge the battery you are trying to start for a few minutes first. I have started every car I tried after 3 minutes of Charging via the NOCO GB40.. If I waited 5 to 10 minutes it probably would start like a brand new battery. The NOCO kind of under performs to it's ratings as shown by many youtubers testing. Also the packaging of the NOCO could be a little better. It needs to be simpler as far as fitting everything back in the case after use. It's takes a little effort to get it all packed back up nicely. LASTLY it doesn't matter what charger you have a DEAD CHARGER is a USELESS CHARGER. Charge your charger at least once a year. BEFORE the FALL.. that's when you are most likely to need it! I would charge it every 3 months if you can manage it!!! ONE more thing.. a flashlight feature is useful if you are trying to charge your car battery and its dark out and you have to locate the 'remote' terminals because your battery is enclosed under covers or is mounted under a seat or in the trunk.
Noco makes the claim on their website that it can go 12 months without a charge and can still jump, it will drop to 70 percent after 12 month but it will last and will jump.
I am looking for one and first one and the Hulkman will be the one. It's just insane how much they want for the case. Will not get it. eBay will have a generic carry case for few dollars.
Dang bro how did you get contacted to get this for free I want to get one to test to out up against some Schumacher full size units and a few optima chargers and jumpers see how it does dang you have smaller amount of subs then I do and I can't get items for testing you must be killing it with getting seen bro
I'd like one but they don't come with a case. And the price they charge for a case is outright theft. Too bad. Amazon doesn't have the 85 available now and doesn't say when they will have it. I'm not trying to run them down. It looks like a good product. I'm thinking about getting the 65 since the 85 isn't available (as of Aug 2022) and would get it in a heartbeat if the case wasn't so expensive.
Unfortunately, Hulkman pulled off of Amazon to sell their product for a much higher price from the time you posted this video. Now just finding it directly from their website sadly.
Just like all companies of course it's not $80 anymore try $140 I was going to purchase one but because they mark up the price so much I'm definitely not purchasing one now

Hey flying wrench’s i got quick question on my f150 5.0 2017 again. So it’s always hard for me to diagnose a noise without hearing it in real life but from listening to that video it sounds like a lifter is not staying primed and causing that noise. That would be my best guess at it.
Usually not. The only way it could cause a check engine light is if it collapsed bad enough to cause a misfire. Ford lifters usually don’t do that. The GM DOD lifters are really bad about collapsing and they will set a light when that happens.

Jump box’s are like # 45 what they do compared to what they say they can do are 2 vastly different things
Noco makes the claim on their website that it can go 12 months without a charge and can still jump, it will drop to 70 percent after 12 month but it will last and will jump.
The Hulkman can be stored for 18months no charge and still jump. Boom.
NOCO IS THE BEST PERIOD!
I am looking for one and first one and the Hulkman will be the one. It's just insane how much they want for the case. Will not get it. eBay will have a generic carry case for few dollars.
One thing I hate about jump packs like these is they never give you cables longer then 8 or so inches or less wonder when the alpha 100 coming out
Yeah some really long cables would be nice.
Dang bro how did you get contacted to get this for free I want to get one to test to out up against some Schumacher full size units and a few optima chargers and jumpers see how it does dang you have smaller amount of subs then I do and I can't get items for testing you must be killing it with getting seen bro
Not sure. Maybe just luck.
@@FlyingWrenches13 you did a good job though I'm just jelly bro lol
I'd like one but they don't come with a case. And the price they charge for a case is outright theft. Too bad. Amazon doesn't have the 85 available now and doesn't say when they will have it. I'm not trying to run them down. It looks like a good product. I'm thinking about getting the 65 since the 85 isn't available (as of Aug 2022) and would get it in a heartbeat if the case wasn't so expensive.
I don't like that you can't chg the NOCO's with USB C.
Compare the new noco' gbx75 2500 amps" it would destroy that hulkman"
Test the Hulkman 10
have you tried the goloo gp4000
I have not!
You should do a video on best ways using the powerboost to jump start other cars... Or I guess even jump start itself lol
That’s actually a good one lol thanks!
Unfortunately, Hulkman pulled off of Amazon to sell their product for a much higher price from the time you posted this video. Now just finding it directly from their website sadly.
You can find it through Walmart online for about $95
Just like all companies of course it's not $80 anymore try $140 I was going to purchase one but because they mark up the price so much I'm definitely not purchasing one now
I just bought the 8.5 on the Hulman site for just over a 100. They gave me a first-time buyer discount in exchange for my email. It's 129 usually
Well.....The hulkman has twice as many amps as the GB40 so, not really a valid comparison.
Thank you, but in a jam can we get the video with more meat and potatoes
Not sure I understand what you mean
10 minutes of waiting while trying to jumpstart in order to escape zombies! Yikes!
HulkAman.... dude it's hulkman
Do a review on the hulkman alpha 100
I may see if I can get my hands on one of those.
I use a gb70 everyday and it shits on that thing
Don’t have a 70 but I got a gb50 and I always pick up the hulkman first!
Young man, I spent over 13 min waiting for your test and result, but all you did was BS ! How can I give you a thumb up ?
I hope you didn't really consign a functional piece of equipment to the landfill. You could curbside or Craigslist it, for Pete's sake.
I just got my Hulkman from Amazon, can't wait to try it on my wonderful old Audi tomorrow.
I may have went and retrieved so called piece of equipment after. Hope you like your hulkman, I love mine!
🤣🤣🤣 senior master tech and he's like 17 years old throwing noco ,🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks
Hey flying wrench’s i got quick question on my f150 5.0 2017 again. So whenever i start it up on a warm start engine is at operational temperature I notice a tick that starts and last about 10-15 seconds then goes away any idea. It never makes this noise when cold
ua-cam.com/video/jB-F409uegg/v-deo.html
Heres video on what it exactly sounds like
So it’s always hard for me to diagnose a noise without hearing it in real life but from listening to that video it sounds like a lifter is not staying primed and causing that noise. That would be my best guess at it.
@@FlyingWrenches13 well its so weird because some times it does and and something it does
Yeah a failing lifter can do that. It will most likely get worse over time.
@@FlyingWrenches13 will a bad lifter cause an engine light?
Usually not. The only way it could cause a check engine light is if it collapsed bad enough to cause a misfire. Ford lifters usually don’t do that. The GM DOD lifters are really bad about collapsing and they will set a light when that happens.
The review money makes you talk good' 😂smh
This seems very biased
Why’s that?
send me the noco you throwed in the trash
Coming your way
@@FlyingWrenches13 when you sending the noco gb40
