I bought the GB70 and a carrying case for it several years ago after reading all the reviews and doing a lot of research. I live in a state where the snow is deep and the temps plummet at night. Unless you can plug your car in at night, it can be difficult to start it in the morning, even for batteries with the highest CCA. The GB70 has never failed me and will take on more than I could ever put it thru. It's the best purchase you will ever make. It's very portable and easy to use. It's also safer to use as well if you accidentally hook up the wrong connections, unless of course you put it into override, in which case it will do you good to check your connections. I was able to do a number of jumps with it and it would still show a full charge. I didn't use it for a full year one time and when I checked it to see if I needed to charge it, it still had a full charge. I used to haul around one of those huge, heavy, lead acid battery ones that were a pain in the ass. You had to constantly keep recharging them after one or two jumps or check them for a full charge before you could use them if you let them set for longer than a couple of weeks. Plus, their life expectancy was short lived after recharging them so many times. I love the GB70 and will buy another one when it comes time to. When that will be, I honestly can't say. It is still performing just as strong as the day I received it several years ago.
If you plan on buying the gb70 read this, the description saying what litre engine it can start only refers to batteries that still crank but don’t crank fast enough to start. NOT COMPLETELY DEAD BATTERIES. So for the gb70 claiming it can start diesels up to 6 litres it will have absolutely zero chance starting it with a battery under 10 volts
@@Seeker-vo2tz That's why it's good to do the research and, having some mechanical knowledge also helps. I did my research and picked the right model for MY CAR and not the more expensive higher boost for the diesel engines. It has even started my car when the battery was COMPLETELY DEAD and WOULDN'T TURN OVER. I'm happy with their product and it has served me well. In fact I've even purchased their NOCO Genius charger.

I know you said you can't speak for other models but has your opinion changed in 9 months? Any recommendations on a different NOCO or a different jump starter altogether?
You have to use Nocos faster charger Brick and cord otherwise don’t let it get that low. I know exactly what you mean the overdrive would let it go lower than intended and would no longer take a charge unless you get the brick.
I used the Type S the other day when i mistakenly left my van on overnight to crack the windows open. Worked right away. Really impressed. I went to get the Noco GBX45 but it is 3x the cost of the Type S Costco. I am wondering why the huge price difference and if it is justified. I just need it for emergencies if my passenger car battery dies. I do appreciate quality and will pay a premium if something is worth it but i don't know what the huge difference is between the NOCO and TYPE S
Bought a GB150 back in 2018 and it has served me well with my fleet of 7.3 Super Dutys and had no problems starting a truck with completely dead batteries. Recently I noticed it was struggling to start a truck even if the truck had enough battery power to crank the engine slowly. I was going to order another 150 but was disappointed to find that NOCO reduced the GB150s power from 4000amps to 3000 amps. So, I was forced to order the GBX155. I'm very disappointed with the 155 because if I use it to start a truck that is completely dead, it drains the unit completely dead after only 2 tries. And it will only crank the engine about 15 seconds before it shuts off.
Hi Nick Nick, we would recommend a GBX55 as your vehicle would be with the jump starter capabilities. Follow this link here to purchase one- www.outbackequipment.com.au/noco-gbx55-1750a-12v-ultrasafe-lithium-jump-starte
@@OutbackEquipmentI purchased the GBX55, and it lasted 2 months. It won’t take a charge anymore. I also never let the battery get low. Noco would not refund or send me a replacement.
Hi Alien, The reason for not stating charge times is because there are so many variables to charge times. From How flat the Jump starter is right through to the power source charging the unit. Noco states from 2.7 hours, but we think that could be misleading if you plan to charge it from a USB socket on a 12v dual battery system.
Hello, we have a car starter power product which has powerful features it uses the latest technology sodium batteries strong endurance multifunctional can be used in all kinds of extreme weather we need you to help us send a test video interested in learning more about it?
I bought this item noco gb 50. I charged it fully and plugged it into my phone. (Oppo find x3 pro). Checked 30 minutes later and the phone was charged but the unit was completely flat. How is this supposed to jump start an engine. Paid £140 for a shitty power bank.

The weird little hand at the 1:00 mark 🤣
The tiny hands cracked me up 🤣👍
Word of caution... GBX45 will be bricked if it gets below a certain level of charge. A known issue. I can't speak to any other models.

I have a type s and my biggest issue is not being able to start a battery that's fully dead

Which one would recommend for my 2022 Honda Ridgeline?
So, how will they start a diesel engine at -25°C?
Demonstration is better than a million words:)
They actually do a 4250amp gbx155
All the NOCO jump starters are the best period. They have proven that and they have many different sizes for different applications
junk, watch the teardown video
@nodoubt46able then what brand is better??
once you have finished jumpstarting with gb150. if you leave the clamps on battery. will the gb150 recharge .
No, it will probably destroy your vehicle alternator or worse your ecm.
will the boost pro be ok for my mitsubishi outlander regular gas ?
Could you explain which one would start a LITHIUM battery? I read gb does only acid lead battery..
Whats the best for a harley-davidson
Jump-N-Carry has a new line of lithium jump starters. Hit me up if you want to try them out!
Thank You So Much!
Can't imagine driving around without the right one of these in your car.
Which one of these do you recommend for 2021 mini van? Thank you

Which one should I buy for my 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT?
Could just pop that in ya purse- nice vid Reece!

Gbx 155 !!

1:01 I hope you gave "Elasto-Man" credit in the description for his contribution to the making of this video.
anyhow ..be nice to use it on a dead car battery
What the hell is with that weird little hand 😂😂?
Trump's hands are useful for this video, great video
Topdon!!!!!
They are way too expensive compared to other makes
Just say you’re broke because it’s really not that expensive . This is cheaper than buying a battery and getting a tow.
The little hand is very freaky ! WHY ?
NOCO pays you, right?
😂😂😂 your hand really looks small.
these are all junk because they are lithium based, you need super capacitor-based, now available
Mine turned out to have a broken switch and left me stranded, piece of crap! plastic junk!
Wait... what was that tiny creepy hand? Please explain why this is here and why I should believe this video after some questionable hand appears?
Adds even more credibility if anything
in one word....NO....autowit
Autowit is better?
This device is a complete gimmick.
