Thanks for the video. I may he have a similar issue. All of a sudden my cold starts after a few days. I need a little help from the throttle. Stepper motor is whining and has brand new battery.
I had this exact same issue, MTC fails and the starter won't spin over. There was no sound of the TB servo "sucking". I lubricated the external throtle linkages and manually operated the throtle several times, this fixed the "no suck" and the engine cracked over and fired.
hello I have a 2017 super duke and randomly get the mtc failure. It first happened when I was out riding for awhile and then I noticed I had lost power I looked down and it was flashing the MTC Failure and it went into limp mode. I pulled over, hit the on/off button a few times and it finally went away and everything went back to normal. It didn't happen again for a few months, (about 1000) miles later and same thing flashed mtc failure and i just had to let it sit and hit on/off a few times. Any ideas what this could be? I have the rottweiler stage 2 with the power commander, arrow exhaust and arrow cat eliminator . Thanks.
@@highzenburger1829 yes, rottweiler came out with a Healtech 'ESE' Exhaust Servo Eliminator To replace the servo motor , the servo motor was the culprit. I have had no issues after installing this .
Well maybe you can help me. I have the same exact bike. Installed the Rottweiler stage 6 kit. And the bike was running well for about a week. Now I have nothing but mtc failure. No throttle. And when I try to change modes, it tells me to close the throttle. my bike does start my bike does run, but it just idles. There is no acceleration.

I have learned something from each video. I always thought that high pitched whirring sound was the fuel pump. I don't know why. Thanks again!

MTC failure is the first thing u get with these bikes I'm ripping the ECU out in goes a microsquirt

Kenneth Hobbs : hey mate the same thing happened to mine just now. Did you manage to fix the issue?? My Superduke is stock tho with mods done to it

New battery?
brake fluid needs to be changed at lest every 2 years to prevent crud from clogging ports in ABS control valves, I found this out the hard way.
