Thanks for this video. I had the light come on and was heading out the next day for my first 2up trip with my wife. I was worried I may have to cancel and go to the dealer. This made me realize that it's just been a year that I've owned the bike so I feel quite safe just resetting after conducting all the visual checks.

Thank you very much, very helpful after I removed my instrument cluster to put on a GPS bracket on a 2015 Adventure R, just like to add one thing for others reading this, make sure the engine kill switch is off when you press the up/down together (2:15) otherwise you won't be able to access the secondary screen.

Are the 1190's pretty reliable?
My service light came on but it actually is time for a service so I assume that's ok and I assume that's why the service light came on.
What has me worried is the ABS and TC lights came on (the lights that are currently on in this video) and they stay on while the bike is running and I'm riding. The manual says this means that ABS and TC aren't available. Wtf? Why wouldn't these features be available? Do you know what would cause this?
I gotta take it in to have the 600 mile service done anyway so I'll address it then but do you know why they wouldn't work or "be available"?

Yes, you’ll need your local dealer to turn off the TPMS setting in your ECU with the KTM EFI diag tool.
My 2015 does not get to this screen when I hold those 2 buttons. Does it have to have a code, or does the service have to come on before I can get to that screen? Just did my oil and after I hold those buttons for a few seconds. It just kind of flashes up like it's gonna select a different setting and starts over.
Hmm, good question. It should, try again and see if it will cooperate the 2nd time.

Yes, the preload error is related to your shock servo motor. You will need a KTM dealer tomorrow properly diag the issue. If it’s an older model (pre 2016) they had some issues that the dealer may be able to help with.
