Hey folks- just an update to pin here.
This was a month or so ago now, and it ended up having to go back to the dealership to get them to diagnose the issue and it was the standard servo cables- I've had it again since and just left it and things seem to be fine.
Headstock bearings are still an issue- and last night the fuel pump went on me- find out about that one next month

That must've been so frustrating, hopefully they fix it in future models. Also, the bar end mirrors look real nice in that position in my opinion

Regarding the getting lost, this reminds me of an occasion where i had the same thing happen to me a while back. I went out to where i don't usually go and was trying to get home but kept going round in circles and obviously as you know with anxiety at high levels it makes for an incredibly stressful experience.

The exhaust valve by the muffler will throw an “MTC” error code. I disconnected mine and did the “dongle” plug and the code went away never to be seen again (at least for the last 2000 miles) This normally gets a mtc code upon start up when cold or you stalled it and fired it right back up and the exhaust valve hasn’t cycled completely yet.

Jas thé sale issue with mine. KTM replaced the valve at 1500 km. Now I’m at 6500 km and never happened again. Cheers! ✌️

Did you buy this bike from same dealer as the speed? If so I think the issue is the person putting the bike together from the box

Mtc fault is only the exhaust valve, they play up when new so just get dealer to adjust it after you have put a few hundred miles on it,

Iv had my super duke r since April last year. Iv had nothing but problems. Iv had oil temp sensors fail Iv had indicators fill with condensation or stop working all together. On top of they none stop MTC and ECU failures. And KTM uk are not very helpful when you email them with these problems. I was considering changing for a speed triple but when I seen your vids that put me off that but I’m stuck with the duke for now. It’s a defo love hate relationship with the super duke

I run my bikes in usually sensibly, with the odd faster run to let things bed in. We all have our methods but nothing too excessive for the first 600 mile

This tiny arrow navigation on a 5 inch display in 2022 is pathetic, shame on you KTM. Give us a proper map like Ducati or Suzuki that is worth the money! Otherwise I stick with my sp connect and watch on google maps on my phone.

I'm aware of it, yet you say that as if that would have any bearing on my life with bikes having already known issues from the factory. As with a lot of these pseudoscientific headline-grabbers , it's usually a load of bollocks surrounding a grain of truth- as to make it more palpable and easier to sell their books and courses under the guise of science, fact and evidence.
      Cheers!

@@sergeantsodom6969 I've been riding since 1991. Hondas mostly. Anything can happen, the only question is how you react to it. You write your own headlines, don't you?

@@Amerigo73 Awesome, however that adds little to the conversation on modern bikes and their seeming unreliability - boasting doesn't change that- and I disagree, you're handed a bad stick sometimes in life, nothing can change or alter that though in reflection you can see the options clear as day. I prescribe to a more fatalistic approach to life, through my life experience. But that's what makes everyone different and all the better for it in my opinion 🤷‍♂️
I will however be the first to admit I don't react in the most positive light sometimes but few do when stuck in an unfamiliar place with a brand new vehicle throwing up random issues, we can all be easily flustered.
I mean, if I weren't here documenting my rides, people would be none the wiser, nor care- I enjoy this as a hobby and will leave people free and open to their opinions and comments- but I too hold that same right, to some people's surprise 😁
It does however, make for entertaining content, or so I've been told 😅
      Cheers!
