Dear rc saylors, im a huge hobbysit. Start with a tmax as a kid, went to ebuggy and nitro, went to bashing back to racing. Got out of racing fully because i was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. I still have several bashers.... but i got into flying drones, started with mini 2, went to air 2,sprak, and finally fpv ( the ultimate) so far. Ive dabbled with the thoughts of buying the 219.00 f-15 e-flite. Also the blue angel edf Been scared because of the foam, i really enjoy you guys and your very awesmoe infoational videos. Only a real himan level tou guys have helped me deal alot.. just wanted to say thank you and if your ever in north florida, pop thru and well fly and bash
My next challenge to you Nat. Review footage of the Thunderbirds (F-16s) or Blue Angels (F-18s) and follow/learn their "solo" performers. Then see if you can duplicate those presentations with this F-16 or the Blue Angels F-18. YOU CAN DO IT! Since Abby is such an accomplished drone chase pilot...that would be awesome to see that perspective as well. Have a Blessed Day Saylors!
Don't count out coydogs and coywolves. They are like raccoons of the dog world and live close to humans. There's a raccoon on every block in the USA. Yeah all of them. We still don't know much about them because they are illusive edit and relatively new hybrids
Hey Saylors. If you haven't done before, take the nose cone to Home Depot or Lowes and they will color match that gray perfectly for touch-ups. That and a coat of polycrylic will help save the paint. Take care guys and girls.

As a farm owner I think you are probably looking at a coyote. Size wise it could pass as a red fox also. The big bushy white tail tells me coyote. Bobcats are very elusive and it is rare to ever see one. Just get a siren and play it around dark or just before and if coyotes are around they will go crazy.
Noticeable increase in speed and maneuverability over first flight since you removed missiles and tanks. Amazing sounding jet. 3 minute flight is a tease though. The 1 and only reason I haven't bought a jet.
It sure seems like it, but it is so much more intense that it seems very similar to a 9 minute flight on my FMS Super Cub. I don't know if I'd want that much flight time in any edf. I'd get tempted to try something that would destroy it.
I cancelled my DRACO purchase even before it got to my local HobbyTown just to get THIS jet instead. Now, I wait......BUT thankfully, I can live vicariously through your channel for now! (Like I normally do by the way.......) My best to your family, your channel and your successes friends! -Dave

Sadly this drone doesn't record audio. It would be amazing if technology existed that would allow for the recording of audio on a drone, without recording the sound of the drone! Maybe it does exist, but probably military grade or something 🤔👍😎⚓

So I agree with everyone who said coyote. Here in California nearby is the Mojave desert, coyote territory, the mountains as well. We also have town coyotes who travel through neighborhoods looking for an opportunities for a quick meal. Trash cans or the unfortunate small dog or cat. I actually saw an unfortunate cat that was totally oblivious until the coyote had him in his jaws. So if you ever take Popeye 🐶 there or outdoors somewhere else take All precautions, like I said opportunistic, Fast, and quite. Also daring they can become accustomed to humans. Unfortunately here people sometimes feed the town coyotes causing that unfortunate humans = food. Unfortunately it might be someone's pet. Well that's my quick coyote info. Keep the Popeye 🐶 safe. This also applies to Small Children. Especially if they have food the coyote can smell & the child may be Even a short distance from the adults. Keep them safe my friends. Now the jet. Nate last time the jet had the ordnance & fuel pods so an AGGRESSIVE flight. Today no weapons so PASSIVE. Then you got all deep voiced & growling. So Nate PASSIVE/AGGRESSIVE much.🤔🤔😂😂😆😆😁😁😏😏😏. Coyote,hunt them often when I visit my buddy,they say we have them in my area but very rare,we have plenty of wolves,lynx,black bear,fox etc,at times wolves and bears come right into town lol actually just got my spring bear the other day,so freezer got some meat,and now rc with my family on days off until the next hunt starts,great plane guys love it,I've never flown something like a jet,maybe this year
Coyote for sure. In Europe also the wolf comes back. Some species did. over 500 miles distance in a few days. All thumbs up to this video, combining nature with RC jet flight.
I noticed the nose cone right off, as sure as anyone that saw the maiden. Was a better landing even with the sudden pick up of wind, at least you didn't have to hold it down so it wouldn't blow away. "Them dang lousy coyotes" as Festus always said. I've always heard that they don't attack unless provoked/cornered/threatened. If gotten too close with the drone, you would've probably had some damage.
motionRC has a 90mm version that is paint like thunderbird. funny thing is it is not that much more money and looks even better. pluse you do not have to waste your money on the extra gimmick of Smart batterys!!
Leave the wing tip missile rails on all of the time. The F-16 always flies with those and the plastic caps will protect the wing tips if the model does tip up on the wing tip. Glad you are enjoying flying it.
It is a nice platform, HH has made them available in a lighter weight/higher thrust flying model (with lights!) that doesn't have the turbine price tag!
I clicked the link to see how much it goes for and wow $500 for bnf in my opinion is cheap for this plane! I was literally expecting $700. Can't wait to have my own. I'll sell a few of my edfs if I have too to get this one!

Absolutely not a good first plane at all. Is it worth more to you to possibly crash this as your first plane and lose $500 or buy a $150 plane to learn on so you will have the knowledge to fly this jet? Then you can sell the $150 plane for $120 when you are done with it. What is the bigger waste to you?
@@azzorzer For the beginning, I would recommend something like the Easystar with wide Wings and the Propeller in the back. No Wheels, they will make it hart to take off and especially land. I practiced for 2 years with 6 different planes (from beginner to Aerobatic) and still crashed my first jet multiple times. My best experience was either with the Funcub (easy to fligh) or the Funray (extremely difficult to fligh)
I get the sentiment here exactly. The reality is that you will go through a few planes while learning. Crashes and damage are part of the process. Not failures. It is possible to be careful and take great care of your models also. Just start with a Timber or the like.
You guys should check out the E-Flite F-18 Hornet 80 mm EDF if you think the F-16 sounds real. I've got one but I've not ran it myself. I'm still a beginner yet, but we all know how Horizon Hobbies likes to discontinue stuff so I needed to get it. So far it is still in production. That is one EDF I highly recommend for sound alone.

I just had an idea. I love the drone footage behind planes and Tucker Gott uses a chase cam tied behind his paramotor. Could it be possible to do something like that for rc?
Sounds great and FMS inrunners are the best value EDFs out there right now period... but if someone came up to me and was like "wow you added jet sound effects!" I'd kick them in the taint. Go to a legit jet jam and guarantee you'll never confuse an EDF with a turbine ever in your entire life.

Rails make great wingtip protectors. F16s wing tip easy with that tricycle gear. The 70 F16 does it easy. I cut the missiles off and reinforced with carbon fiber tub. Works great and the Tbirds don't fly with missiles in the rails.

Hey I have a question you might be able to answer are there any longer lasting batteries for a protocol director drone
You guys should check out the E-Flite F-18 Hornet 80 mm EDF if you think the F-16 sounds real. I've got one but I've not ran it myself. I'm still a beginner yet, but we all know how Horizon Hobbies likes to discontinue stuff so I needed to get it. So far it is still in production. That is one EDF I highly recommend for sound alone.

I just had an idea. I love the drone footage behind planes and Tucker Gott uses a chase cam tied behind his paramotor. Could it be possible to do something like that for rc?
Could be possible for some larger planes. Do you know how he does his set up? Has he ever done a video showing it?
Tucker is a good kid. He's not a daredevil and doesn't take chances.

Sounds great and FMS inrunners are the best value EDFs out there right now period... but if someone came up to me and was like "wow you added jet sound effects!" I'd kick them in the taint. Go to a legit jet jam and guarantee you'll never confuse an EDF with a turbine ever in your entire life.

I would agree with it being a Coyote. The shot of it standing there looking at the drone showed its large (upright) ears.
@@SamFifer Foxes have large (upright) ears also. Looks a little small to me to be a coyote. My guess is fox.
How long of a flight time do you get with this and what do you think the top speed is?
Sounds good flies good but unfortunate for me 3-minute flight times doesn't cut it😕

Flying off hard pack dirt at our club..can fatter or wider tires be used?
Rails make great wingtip protectors. F16s wing tip easy with that tricycle gear. The 70 F16 does it easy. I cut the missiles off and reinforced with carbon fiber tub. Works great and the Tbirds don't fly with missiles in the rails.
