I think the way you showed me to change colors was spot on. I will started changing colors the way you showed me. It's so easy to change colors that way. Thanks!!
This explanation is very clear. I’ve watched other tutorials where I could see practically nothing, but now I know how to do it, thank you! But note that "locking in" the ends of previous yarn into the work isn’t easy with thicker yarn.
Thank you! I've been doing a lot of crocheting recently and, instead of making for myself or a couple of afghans for others, I have two brand new babies to make for (different sides of the family, but there must have been something in the water s they were about 10 days apart. Yikes!) So I have been working to 'up my game' and be more ... professional. Instead of the loose, "catch as catch can" just tie a knot or something and move on style that I had before. I have learned to tie on yarn (I think it's a Russian join?), keep to my stitch count (because babies are tiny things. I don't want to think about the "Monster Bootie" that was almost big enough to fit me.) and *now* I know how to change colors, something I should have learned all those many years and 'How To' books ago. Better late than never, I guess. Thank you for helping me to look good, and make good looking things for the tiniest people. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this!
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! Changing yarn colors has always been a pain for me. Absolutely brilliant and thank you so very much for making this video. 🌸❤️
How can I crochet like your demonstration, but not crispy crochet...? I am tying to make a three colors hat crochet but it is crispy.... I would like that my hat finishing soft... any help...please ?
You have a bad and annoying habit of “snorting your snot”. Suggest that you “blow your nose” before you start filming and keep tissue at hand while doing so. An added benefit is that it is healthier for you because it keeps the mucus from going down your throat, which could irritate it enough to cause a cough.

Glad it was helpful!
I have been using ombre colours just because I'm so afraid of my project unraveling lol... After watching this I will feel more confident 😄

Thank you so much, very easy to understand
thank you. you made this look easy; but what if I had narrow stripes and wanted to carry my yarn from one stripe to the next?
I would carry the yarn (crochet around it) or if you're working in rows just pick it up on the next row, on your way back.
That is awesome!
I like this method, but I am concerned that it will come un done? Any thoughts?
Yes it can. They can be pulled straight out the side.
This is a great video, another good one is by renaissance she is amazing too and works the 2 threads into the work! Love your video I'll subscribe
Awesome! So glad. Thank you!
So I no longer have to weave in a million ends anymore?? Thank you
Each time the color is changed have to.cut the thread n go through the stitches mam?
How can I crochet like your demonstration, but not crispy crochet...?
I am tying to make a three colors hat crochet but it is crispy....
I would like that my hat finishing soft...
any help...please ?
Washing makes all the difference.
All the other video say tie a knot. This is fantastic.
Boop! 😂 Nice tutorial!
Will this work for a shell stitch ?
Does this still work if I'm making a temperature blanket using Moss stitch?
Sure! I'd just change it with the last pull through like normal.
Will this unravel over time or during laudry?
Not if you weave in the ends properly.
Ty
What about when there are skipped stitches in between? It seems like they would flee.
Show
I would still do it on the last pull through. You can go in later and clean up any noticeable bits when you weave in ends.
What if you are using a mesh stitch?
I'd probably do it the same way.
