I’m definitely here for all your Andrea Mowry knits and plans. The cowl is the perfect fit for keeping you cosy and warm and I just adore your Tessellated Pullover. The colours come together beautifully. I find it interesting how our gauge can change subtlety with different needles/knitting styles. I have a pair of socks where I knit one on DPNS and the other on short circulars. The latter definitely has a fractionally tighter gauge that you can’t see but I can feel when I put them on. 🧶🧦
Isn’t gauge wild? I agree the tiniest change can make a huge difference! And I’m so happy you’re interested in the Andrea Mowry knits because it’s what I’m really into lately ☺️
Your towels are perfect Ahna! Anyone who receives one of them will be very lucky! Also, I'm so glad you will be using the bark yarn in your tessellated socks- looking forward to seeing them finished! The knitted houses too- so very cute!
Here’s to hoping I’ll have them done by the end of the challenge next Monday ☺️ thank you again!! I know I’ll be able to make so many beautiful socks with the yarn you sent ❤️
I was going to do the sock challenge but decided to work on finishing off some WIPs instead! I have like, three sock WIPs oops. Love your colors for everything as usual - the Tessellated looks amazing. The cowl is GORGEOUS. Also ughhh those housesssss
ok wait more to say. I also LOVED Maggie's handspun Traveler Hoodie, and I'm so stoked you got Emily C Gillies - her fiber is incredible! Can't wait to see what you make!!
Wow! Your knitting and your weaving are really beautiful. I just love your podcast so much and I get lots of inspiration from you! I'm going to attempt to make some Christmas pillows similar to yours! Happy holidays and hugs from Texas!!
Anna, your tea towel edges are 🤩, I like all your projects, you are inspiring me to spin, which I do, and make a house pillow! And a everyday cowl! And I am going to check out the podcast you recommended, and I have fawned over Emily’s dying through wool and waves, so I will check out her website. If you want a great pattern book that is easy to read, , I I believe it is by Ann Dixon,( weaving patterns)😊, I just went upstairs to look at what it is called, and I seriously misplaced my entire bookcase of weaving books! 😮re arranged up stairs to fit another loom. I know it’s up there somewhere! But, handwoven is great for tea towels! Happy thanksgiving!
I am going to check out Ann Dixon 😃 thank you for the recommendation! And your compliment about my tea towel edges means so much, especially since you weave! Thank you so much 🥰
@@brookwillow I found my book shelf, hah hah! Took a minute, or more like a day to spot it, the book is the handweavers pattern directory, by Anne Dixon, and my friend sister found it at the free store for her, and I took one look and ordered it right away, as it is I. Colour, and all the old books are black and white🐚
I looove your house pillows! I am also trying to add some more pops of color to my otherwise very neutral/natural color palette in my home & my wardrobe - I'm super inspired by your projects!!
Soooo much progress on your Tesselated Pullover! Way to go 😍 It'll look gorgeous on Thanksgiving! I went to the Sonder knitting podcast to see what you were talking about and WOW! That's so amazing! Makes me want to actually start spinning and make it too 🤭🥲
I love all your current knits and spinning projects! However I have a question about a past episode, maybe even a year ago, where you showed the most adorable kids socks you had knit. Which episode was that? Is that your pattern, or someone else's? Where can I find it? Thank you!
Ahh yes! I believe you’re talking about the Fårbacken sockor för hela familjen av Erika Guselius. As you can guess the pattern is not in English but I plopped it in Google translate and it worked out great!

I love the colors you chose for your spinning! I can’t wait to see how they all come together.
Loving the pillow so far!! I’ve been making tiny socks to make a little “stocking” garland to decorate my house
Aww I bet that is looking super cute!! 🤩
I love that idea!!!
As always!!! Love everything you are making! That tessellated is ALMOST DONE!!!! 🎉

I’m planning on doing the sock knit along. I don’t think that I’ll finish them during the weekend though.
Aww yay! Happy cast on 😃 I’m in your boat I also don’t think I’m going to get it done in town. Best of luck to both of us!

Thank you so much!! I hear ya on adding colors. Pillows seemed like this safest way to dip my toes into it ☺️
Your Safe at Home pillow is looking amazing! I love the little windows. I really like the The Traveler sweater.
Thank you so much!! 😃
love how your nail colors reflect your Tesselated!!
Haha I didn’t even think about that!! 😂
I just got a drop spindle to try out! I think it’s the weather. Time to cozy down & work with our hands
I think you’re right! And heck yeah on the drop spindle 😃

Yes yes start spinning!!! It’s so much fun 😃
Loved seeing your projects! Could you tell me where your chain necklace is from? Thanks 😊
I think it’s from H&M years ago 🙂

I love the house pillow you are making. Very, very tempted to cast that on. Maybe it'll be one of my 12 cast ons for christmas @yarnnyarns
I think you should cast it on 😎 it’s a lot of fun!
