I worked in NYC in the garment industry for years. The fabrics and clothing today are garbage, (from China) . I have been making my own clothing now for a few years and get so many compliments on my garments. When you wear beautiful clothing that has quality, it makes you feel wonderful.
It’s true 😭 there really is nothing better than wearing a handmade garment!

That blouse looks gourges with that fabric and it got me thinking if I whould make it how whould I wear it. And I got - with a black turtle neck under becouse I get cold very easily.

And the socks were super cute 🥰 the ones with three colors were a fun tutch 😁❤️ I'm thinking if I got some yarn to sort of make a par like that 🤔😄
And YES PLEASE!! Do a pod about how you stil your Knitt/crochet wear 🙏 I need some inspiration. I have to up date my wardrobe becouse my body have change alot more after baby nr 2, after the first one I could hopp right back into my clothes I wore before I got pregnent 😅 😐

Oh I hope you do make socks! They are so fun. My first pair of socks I’ve ever knit were the Everyday socks by Andrea Mowry. That’s a nice pattern for when you are just learning!

Obsessed with your Night Shift colors and how it all turned out! I also joined School of Sweet Georgia a few months ago--mainly for the spinning education. It's such a cool resource! Way better than Netflix (which I cancelled to justify the cost lol).

I would love to see a styling video that goes further than the “just wear the pullover/cardi with jeans”.
I second the shawl styling, I don’t make them because I don’t know how to wear them. Would love to see different types of shawls/scarfs and how you style them :)

I love seeing/ hearing about how you style accessories cause I often don't make things like shawls cause I'm not sure how I would put it into my outfits! I'd like to watch a video of you styling any other accessories you've made, especially Fall ones :)

I just found your channel and I really enjoyed your video. I Also knit, spin, quilt and sew. Regarding your blouse, you might consider putting in neck darts to help with the excess fabric. Also, regarding the blouse, wear a coordinating tank under it. That way you can ditch the strapless bra, no adjustments needed.
I forgot that it was Yarnover this weekend, but I had to work anyway. Do you ever go to the fiber festival at the Isanti County fairgrounds in Cambridge, or the Shepherd’s Harvest festival in Lake Elmo?
I’ve been to the Isanti County one a couple years ago and loved it! I may go again this year. Sadly I’ve been busy every time the other one has gone on which sucks because I live pretty close to that one. But maybe next year I’ll finally make it 😊

I really like the Nepheline Blouse and Nightshift Shawl combo. The Rib Lace Raglan looks great as well.

Hello! I am a new subscriber. I really love your reasoning for starting to spin your own yarn. I love spincycle too, but I just can’t justify it for every color changing project. Your shawl is beautiful!
I’ve never worked with Spincycle but appreciate its beauty! But I’m also happy we are able to make something similar too ☺️

I so would make one for my Dog Skyla and she doesn't mind her collar at all and has worn a shirt because of abscess a few years ago, but she has pointed ears. So I will have to figure out how to allow Skyla to cover her ears if she wants to. I bought some fiber from Anoka Fiber Works and I am on a No buy as to encourage me to use up some fiber and I am working on Decluttering so no buy for a long while.
You’ll have to make her little ear socks ☺️

I really enjoyed your fall knitting. Your style is really appealing and I would love to see a styling video.
For your sewn blouse - how about opening the back neck finishing and adding a box pleat? Many men's shirts do this below the back yolk as reference. I can almost feel how snug it would feel afterward. 😊

Your plaid blouse is beautiful! I also find wide necklines uncomfortable. Perhaps a crochet or lacy trim in a coordinating color could bring in the neckline?
