I don’t wear shawls but I will not pass up the opportunity to support such worthy cause. I want to be part of the 6,000 viewers to own the “Ruth shawl”! God bless you Ruth.
A beautiful shawl for a beautiful lady. Ruth, you are a treasure. What a pleasure it is to spend time with you every second Wednesday. You bring joy, you always make me smile. I have purchased the Ruth Shawl pattern and have made a donation through your Ko-fi link.
O wow... the shawl looks amazing ! It will go on my list, and I am sure to buy it later on. The colours you are using are lovely, can't wait to see how it will turn out once finished and blocked !
Got my pattern! It is beautiful, Ruth, just like you, inside and out. I lost my husband a year ago to multiple myeloma only 2 years after his diagnosis. Such an awful disease. I will definitely support Twin Set and Purl in the future.❤
What a great cause and I will definitely buy the pattern…….not the best knitter, more a crocheter, but will buy it and give it a try…thanks for all you do to support them. x x x 🥰
LisaR: Such a beautiful concept ❤ ! It's my pleasure to purchase the Ruth shawl pattern and cast on with " special reserves" :) A winning combination for all the best reasons . 😊
Was so happy Monday was here and your special podcast for the Ruth shawl was up and I could buy the shawl pattern! Been waiting for the launch of the pattern. I had two skeins of yarn ready but once I read the yarn requirements I quickly order two more skeins. Did it all enjoying my cup of tea and spending the morning with you! You have been part of my knitting circle of friends since I found your podcast while taking care of my mom. Now that I’m back home I’m always so happy to see you when your podcasts pop up! You are the best! Through you I found Twinset and Purl! God bless you and your family! 💗MaryRuth💗🧶🧶
Bless you, Ruth! What an amazing legacy to your faith and support of LAMB. The pattern is lovely, and I will definitely be purchasing a copy. My mother was an OB nurse, who behaved more like a mid-wife LOL She was always available to patients who needed a support person, and delivered both my boys. She was the moderator at her church in North Carolina, and was a saint here on earth. I will be donating, as well, to LAMB in her honor. Love and hugs, Kim (Oxford, Michigan, USA)
This video had zero ads for me. I don’t pay to stop them, so there should have been some. Lovely shawl, congrats on having your name on it, and Lamb is a worthy cause for sure!
Oh wow Ruth, how could I not buy the pattern A as it has your name and B my family name is Lamb 🤩 what an amazing charity I’m in for sure. I might knit it in my clan colours he he , as always love you and your wonderful cause 🏴💕
The pattern is lovely! I just purchased your and will be purchasing one of the others for their Myeloma charity as well. Thank you for your contagious exuberance for having a charitable heart ❤❤❤
Ruth no one deserves to have a shawl named after them more than you. You are such a sweet humble person! Your passion has made me buy the pattern. I have never completed a shawl, but I just had to buy it to add to the donation going to Lamb. God Bless you😊
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 😊...I bought my pattern first thing this morning. How exciting it will be for you, to see everyone's version of the Ruth Shawl popping up! I agree with another comment here...the pattern is as beautiful as your sweet self 😊😘
My bother was with me this morning when I turned to UA-cam and saw your Breaking News headline. He paused and said his understanding of knitters had been shattered and he was was very amused by it. He laughs at me and my knitting all the time and teases about it in a sweet brotherly way. In honour of LAMB and my brother, I will knit him a Ruth Shawl! I am so pleased to be part of this and thrilled for you.
It's wonderful to know a first hand account of a charity I can donate to without thinking my money is just going to pay for advertising, admin staff and CEOs before it ever gets to the needy.
I have no words ❤ How exciting I became while watching I couldn’t get to Ravelry fast enough to buy the Ruth Shawl as well as a booklet of socks. What a blessing you are each time I watch you - but this time 🥰 you really touched my heart. I can’t believe what a blessing you are and continue to be to so many people!!
Never been so happy to purchase a pattern! Such a great cause. Thank you for all you do. Love your podcast. Listening from Fort Langley British Columbia Canada.

I love the shawl. I will definitely go get the pattern. I remember my excitement when a local indie dyer made a pink and white with bright speckles as a colorway in my honor. My best friend used to go to Bangladesh for many mission trip. I have a very special pearl necklace from there that always reminds me to pray. Be blessed.
Got the pattern first thing this morning. It is a lovely design and is for such a great cause. Love the yarn Rachel and Jo gave you, the colours work well together.Been looking through the stash trying to decide what yarn to use. I have some Rowan lace left from a project I frogged so probably will use that with some 4 ply.

I bought the Ruth and Ruthie shawl patterns! I love shawls and knitting prayer shawls. It seems there aren't as many place to donate to? I would like to donate to cancer patients. It seems there is more of a disconnect. Is there a list or group that can give information on giving them?

It probably depends on where you live. I have given to hospices and residential homes. Thanks for buying the patterns.
Ì thought Bangladesh is a Muslim country. How do Christian organisations work there?
It is. They work there through caring for the needs of the poor.
