This is insane, sadly i have 0 chance of survival.
Even though I'm 62y.o. I still want to change my mindset the Way you Marines do!

The United States Marines" Semper fi!!
Honor Courage and Commitment. Values taught from week 1. Doesn't apply to most senior leaders and politicians.
Boot
@@smallpppapi6709 he’s obviously a cpl and has a pretty fat stack , and aside from that he is right
I don’t know if I wanna do the national Guard or the marines my friends they want me to do the marines because they going to boot camp really soon
Goddamn you’re a well decorated Cpl! I’m a 2 ribbon Cpl 😐
Don’t forget the 10 mile walk back just for your warrior meal.
Good ol DEATH MARCH 🤣
Worse than the reaper itself.
Just graduated 2 days ago and our hike back was longer because we had taken a wrong turn
I never did my reaper it was raining for two days straight and we just did a hill hike and it was a pain on our feet
@@SergioRamirez-vn6bw dang that really sucks. I can’t imagine the frustration. I hope that your platoon got the best meal of all.
My son graduates next Friday from marine boot camp. Proud mom
So does my brother!
Congratulations!!
Amazing accomplishment for you and your son!
What company was he? Me and him may have went to together
My husband is there right now & he has 5 weeks until the crucible. I can’t wait to be with him again!!!! He’ll get to see our daughter & me, I know I’ll cry lol.
Not if he gets fucked by covid and goes straight to mct and his schoolhouse
@@ronniegaytan4496 you’re so negative lol. He’s already told me his graduation is still the same day & we’ll get to see him. His platoon got covid & they all got the vaccines too, and it hasn’t gotten delayed. He goes to his schoolhouse after MCT training.
@@ronniegaytan4496 also, he gets 10 day leave after MCT. So no, he won’t go straight in.
@@vickay7034 not trying to be negative, I hope you get to see him. Just being realistic because that’s what happened to me. Went 9 months without seeing my wife when COVID first popped off. Never bank on what the marine corps tells you because shit changes on the fly. You’ll see overtime but best of luck!
I go October 25th
Good to see that training has actually increased during boot camp, though other videos I see the DI's sweat more than the recruits. My DI's did not sweat, we did...back in the day.
Even though I was Army, I respect and admire what these young recruits go through. Good job, Marines.
My friend is currently in the boot camp. He will graduate in December. Godspeed to him.
I can’t wait to go as soon as I’m 18 following in my dad’s footsteps
Nice how old are u? I'm 18 and I gotta focus on my study but I'm planning on going to boot camp to Parris Island
i'd be following my grandpa's footsteps. my biological dad was a prick, and he was in the army. i might have the army as a last resort, because i cant swim at all, so that might be the way i turn
Hell , ssgt Berkley , sgt Arnold. 1979. No way in hell will I forget! Will always be grateful. Parris Island was world class training. People you need to join on!!! God bless the USMC!!
Gotta make sure to wear that PT BELT so you don’t get hit by a truck while running the O course!
Respect from ROKMC! Brothers we go together!
Alot of people in the comments explaining why going is a bad idea, dont let that fw you if youre trying to go. Fuck what they say & what anyone else say. Send that shit & make something of yourself. Most of these people saying not to go probably didnt make the cut or were too pussy to take the plunge. Make your own mind, im 25 & im going. Change is inevitable, regret is forever
Good shit
Well guess what goofy, Im 35 and did my time during the height of the war. What did we get for it? Not shit.
So go ahead motivator, go put yourself up to the grinder. Go get hurt for a country that doesnt care and a government that will turn its back on you the moment youre done.
Its really the only way youll actually understand and open your eyes. Its okay. I was the same way too. Bright eyed motivated boot that ignored all the vets who said the same things.
So go and find out. Youll see 😂
25 and you're going into the Military ?
What the Hell have you been doing with your life ?
Life goes quick !
Think about it !
Why become cannon fodder like the ones that Died in Biden's horrible pull out of Afghanistan !
And to have Biden as your Commander and Chief ?
Seriously......?
C'mon Man !

I went through MCRD back in 1970. I like seeing these Devil Dog Pups grow up. Semper Fi!!!
Very informative video. Well done!
Good night chesty where ever you are.
Back in 1976 we used iron sights, we had no optics. The 500 yard line was tough with iron sights. Semper Fi
believe it or not, iron sights are not that difficult. New era, train like we fight..and we dont fight with iron
Used iron sights in 2010.
Yeah, in my era, we used a single bead sight, and no rear sight with our flintlocks. We shot down from masts at the British below, and were trained to only shoot the guys without the crosses on their covers, while they engaged in melee below.
This new corps using iron sights, scopes, and multi-shot rifles couldn't handle the good old days, back when we had the real Tun Tavern.
i leave for meps next week. i’m preparing myself now so i can go to basic training with the correct mindset
looks like a nice summer camp😃
I did my crucial with a broken leg and still pushed this is no joke ladies and gents and guess what?!? I RE-ENLISTED now I’ll give back and go go back to ole parris island very soon
Cant wait to do this when I finished school I just gotta do my senior yr
Lord protect us and my son his undertraining jgsdf.i'm proud to all
If you want to join us, then you probably already have what it takes. All you need to do is go through the same training we did, and you're in.
USMC 1999-2007
I leave for Parris Island in 6 days. So excited
In the same scenario as you. Both excited and nervous lol.
good luck! can you let me know how it went when u get back. i’m in the early stages waiting to take my physical to get officially qualified.
Vi que una señorita Infante de marina lloraba cuando recibió su insignia. Yo también recuerdo cuando juré a Mí Bandera 🇨🇱
Just another video showing the cool stuff, which is maybe 10% of the experience.

be an artist recruit. trust me, it comes with a lot of dope opportunities!!!
Optics really. When I went through it was open sights. October 1998
Sitting at my school house right now. MOS 7051 crash fire rescue. Boot camp is shity dog. It gets a lot better. And you’ll have a blast at mct besides the alpha shelf movement haha. Just know it gets better if you put it in the work. It’s all up hill after boot camp if you put in the work. And strive to make the core a better place. Rah devil dogs.
I’m hoping to get that exact mos bro haha I leave 25th
I’m still thinking about joining or not I’m kind of scared😂

I’m heading to boot camp in three months! You can endure anything for three months.
Remember to work smarter not harder, build strength not muscle size. Eat food increase your energy and immune system. Listen and talk to other veterans of the Marine Corps probably will be the best choice.

I love how they act like as soon as the crucible is over everything is skate…. The stupid games still happen just like
During the cycle 😂
After the crucible, our DIs would say hey 72 we think we made it right? No sir. Tight ever one write a 1000 word essay on honor courage and commitment. Done by 0400.
They don’t talk about the countless hours of drill
I bet there's a lot they don't talk about.
Drill sucks lmao, many an IT session was from fucking up at drill

I feel old. They're using acogs during initial rifle qual.
Yea yea no documents and the position I wanted was not physical
Look at those Ragged Out rifle they are issued...
If you think this is hard till you (your SO) gets to the fleet. They saw nothing yet
Is Marine boot camps now the same, worse or better than 2006?
🇺🇸
To see scopes on these...
Here I am
Ok listen i know how to swim but in deep water i just don't know how to stay a float like i keep drowning myself
Hold your breath, air always rises, like bubbles. As long as you do that it should be kinda easier unless you weigh 90k pounds
I am going MEPS for marine within this month excited and same time nervous 😟
Let me know anything vhange
I just graduated lol wanna use my name as a referral and I’ll tell you everything about boot camp at Paris island
Are you somali lol
That’s good bro. Hope you join
Meps gone have a good time with you. You belong to them for them two days
Still hard to digest that the platoons are now inter-grated. Didn't have that when I was in back in 2000.
@Joe Mama The women were on the other side of the Island for a reason. When I was in we could hear the women from a distance, but we never saw them.
The companies are integrated, not the platoons. I was in Hotel and only occasionally saw the females
No longer is each Marine a rifleman, but a rifleperson.
I’m in the thumbnail lol
Commandant of the Marines has to pass it also
Anyone come back here just for some virtual help with the memories?
There aren't walks they are Humps
I want to join the Marines but I don't know how to swim
They'll teach you
Go jump in a deep end of a pool and figure it out. That's the best way to learn.
Spoiler alert they don't care just monkey airplane rocket
Listen to what they tell u n you'll do fine
neither do i lol
Black hook. Yah weeks
This is cute. Now do the crucible at Pendleton.
Boohoo you can see your house ohhhh nooooo
👏👌👍
Im commenting this now and I hope someone replies in the future but I ship out may 28th, less then a week after graduation. Imma work harder then ever to prepare but I’m sure it will be nothing like boot camp. As of right now I have 1 month and 13 days so let’s see how this goes.
Same here man I’m a 28th of may man
I went through this back in 2000. I'm glad I'm out. They couldn't pay me enough to go back. Remember, "Once A Marine; Always A Marine," isn't always true. You could choose to no longer be one after you get out.

Don't join the marines if your over 23 years old. Expect to be told what , when, and by any other Marine higher than a rank than you. Expect to do a lot of BS . Expect field days every Thursday. Expect holding a 24 hr duty any day throughout once a month. Expect to be treated like a kid at times for no reason. Expect to be yelled out for stupid reasons. I'm only trying to help other people before giving your life away for contract they needs to be fullfill otherwise you mess your record. On the other hand if your straight out of high school Join. Join to head to a good direction in life, money, and become an adult.
