I've got a 98 silverado c1500 5.0 I've been throughout the truck in all areas maintenance wise I will say I gained almost 10 psi on fuel pressure after changing filter I blew through the old one it barely moved any air and it was only 3 years old these trucks need 55 psi to start and run
Run a bottle of redline or gumout anything that has PEA in it keeps the carbon off the poppets and also withstands the cylinder temperature cleaning rings and piston tops
This is the exact truck I learned to drive on, right down to the color. Take care of that old work horse

Yeah, that injection spider is real sensitive about fuel pressure. I still love my old trucks. Thanks for watching.
