BEEP the Meep's MO is pretending to a poor cut little creature but in reality he enjoys death and destruction. So, I suspect we'll have 2 or even 3 villains from different mediums in WHO'S history.
And MEEP is a comic character and Disney have been making MEGA successful comic film adaptions.
THEORY The entire story's message is about who you are, what you know and your identity. This story may not be the happy reunion Tennant fans may expect.
After all, things change and move on. Nostalgia is never what you hope it is.

Ok sooo.....Ncuti is wearing David's white dress shirt and tie that we see him wearing in the scene where he's next to the car door (that clip is shown many times in this video,) but the shirt is opened and the tie is undone. Could it be that Ncuti's Doctor is trapped inside the mind of the 14th Doctor and is wondering...what the H is going on...because HE is supposed to be the Doctor right now instead of Tenth Part Deux?
I'm thinking that Donna is inevitably going to start to remember all of her adventures, and 14 will save her by sacrificing himself and giving her some regen energy as 10 did before, and she'll survive WITH her full memories of that lovely time. I would cry, but I kinda want that to happen. How 10 had to leave Donna broke his heart, so this would be him as 14 making final amends before regeneration.
Whether that actually happens or not, it's a beautiful idea and would be a perfect ending for both of them.

This has to be related to when Matt Smith encountered Baker as the Curator, and his comment about finding himself revisiting a few of the old favorites from time to time.
Season 4 was my favorite season but I really do hope they balance the fan service with a new adventure. I was really hoping that 14 would have David's real accent, just to set him apart as a new incarnation. But otherwise, so psyched!!
Personally, I hoped he'd be differentiated by behaviour rather than a Scottish accent. He's millennia older at this point and has been through a shitload more than when he last had this face.
@@SaintoftheHonest, I always felt Capaldi's Doctor was literally what Tennant's Doctor would have been if he stayed as the Doctor for a quite a few years. Now, we actually get to see what his Doctor would be like. Would love to see how similar he is to Capaldi.

There's another "blink and you miss it" moment that you may have blinked during, guys. At the 00:14 second mark don't we see Donna and the Doctor hugging? Her head looks fine there.
If I remember correctly I read somewhere that the cloudy sky behind Ncuti's Doctor is there in the trailer to avoid spoilers on what actually happens (You know besides the regenerating), I also think Donna named her daughter Rose since Rose was such an integral part of both the Doctor and Donna's story and she subconsciously chose the name even though she doesn't remember, there could be a really heartfelt moment where Rose introduces herself and Donna and the Doctor smiles, since he did mention in EoT that Donna was trying to keep a hold of the DoctorDonna.
It's not long enough for a child of hers to be old enough to be played by the trans actor they chose to be Rose.

She sees him leaving the house in the episode she forgets, and the trailer gives me the impression she remembers that but neither incident unblocked the memories.

Yeah, it is fine for her to see him from what I remember. As long as she thinks he is just some random human guy she is fine.
I think everyone is forgetting rule#1. The doctor lies. I think Donna will be fine if she remembers him.
Have a quick idea/theory based on this: since the Doctor has been coming to Earth for so long, is it possible there's an in-universe comic book about his adventures? I can't see RTD adapting a big anniversary special from a comic but I can see the Celestial Toymaker bringing Beep the Meep to life with his powers from a Doctor-inspired comic published in that continuity.

I think they’ve left Wilf/Bernard Cribbins out of the trailer simply to give us the biggest punch in the feels when he’s in the episode.
He was probably talking to Wilf, but I doubt we will see any footage of him before the episode is released, there’s probably not that much footage of him in the 60th unfortunately

This makes me so happy. Because this proves what a fan RTD is of Doctor Who, where the other 2 just wanted to do their own thing.
Theory: Donna's "issues" are fixed over the course of these specials possibly opening up the possibility of a "Donna Noble Adventures" spin-off series.

I remember so enjoying that Meep comic strip when I read it as a kid. Being so young and trusting I didn't see the switch coming at the end of the story back then.
Now we just need Abslom Daak to cross paths with the Doctor and have an adventure with him fighting the Daleks!
(The Dalek killer's mug shots have already appeared in the show during Time Heist so he's TV Canon now!)

I think 15 is in that "dreamscape" that was introduced in The Power of The Doctor.
The Toymaker (NPL) interfered in 13's regeneration and forced 14 to take on the appearance of 10, leaving 15 in limbo.
This is all part of his plan to mess with The Doctor, so him coming across Donna again is no accident. He may also he behind some temporary fix to the whole Donna's brain melting thing.
Nope, the cloud background is fake CGI Russel put in to prevent us from being spoiled by whats behind him in that scene..likely the new TARDIS interior would be my guess.

It's highly likely that he is the Celestial Toymaker but it is also possible he is the Valeyard. He was suppose to appear between the 12th and 13th incarnations. It was never addressed but now is a good time to address it and would also be able to retcon the Timeless Child story.
Time stamp 8:08 doctor ducks under closing glass door in front of Donna. Reminds me of "Partners in Crime" where the Dr. and Donna "talk" to each other from behind separate windows.
Perhaps the Dr. runs on. Perhaps they just look at each other. Excited to see a good Dr. Who episode after three years.
As someone who's never read the Doctor Who comics, but has seen all of the existing classic episodes, I immediately thought that the Wrarth Warriors were actually the Menoptera, from the classic story, The Web Planet. It looks like their designer: Dave Gibbons, took inspiration from the Menoptera's eyes and antennae.
I thought their look felt familiar!
I got SJA Pied Piper x Dream Lord vibes when we first saw NPH in costume.
I always viewed David Tennant's Doctor as one of the "darker" faces of the Doctor. Just take that line from his first episode where he said, "No more second chances. That's the sort of man I am." So when I first saw him coming back my first thought was that it was to sort out something... darker that the "new face" of the Doctor might be not suited to handle and so (the new face, Ncuti Gatwa) could sort of start over with a clean slate and fresh outlook on life and things. But that was just what my imagination came up with and I can't wait to see what really happens!!

I’ve always been scared of Dr Who and the monsters but am watching all of new who for the first time and have just got onto Donna’s season and have to admit it is my favourite so far. So excited to see them again in 2023

I am hoping to see David Tenant stay on during the 15th doctors run. The events of this episode could break him and turn him into the Valeyard and become the antagonist, something similar to the TimeLord Victorious that was threatened in The Waters of Mars at the end of the 10th Doctors run after losing Donna.
A season of the 14th Doctor vs the 15th Doctor would be something to see.
Do we think that if Rose is Donna's daughter then she called her Rose because some part of her memory remembers life with the Doctor and meeting Rose and she likes the name but not sure why or where from?
Also if Donna somehow is allowed to remember the Doctor and doesn't die, then what reason would most make sense for her not going to travel agaon with the Doctor, the obvious been her family, but would be nice for her to remember him again and make her return in the future be even more possible.
Thanks for explaining Beep the Meep. I've never seen a comic or any of the extra things so a lot of references go over my head until some kind person explains them. I haven't watched any Classic episodes either so my task between now and the 60th special is to start at episode 1 and work my way through the whole lot, including all the new ones again so I can catch references I missed. Not even sure if it's physically possible to watch that many episodes in less than a year, but I'm gonna try!
A good chunk of the early years of the 1st and 2nd doctor episodes are lost to time so you'll have to either watch some animated recreations using the original dialougue or listen to the audio of the episodes with stills.
@@JaCrispyStudios yes I’ve started season 1 and I can see there are about 6 episodes missing. The playlist I’ve found seems to have one video in place of the 6 episodes so maybe they’ve kindly put something together. Otherwise I guess I’ll go searching. Any recommendations on the best place to find recreations without having to pay for them? I found Big Finish but over $30 a season is too much. If that’s my only option I’ll just skip over the lost ones and hope for the best.
@@JaCrispyStudios about halfway through season 2 now. Very much enjoying it! The season 1 playlist had a 30 minute synopsis of Marco Pollo using stills and original audio. Obviously a fair bit was missed but it seemed to get the key points. And I’m the one about the French Revolution 2 of the episodes were animated. Incredible job that people have done! I’m going to find an episode list so I can tick them off as I go too. The playlist I’m watching doesn’t mark the videos as watched so I need an easier way to keep track of where I’m up to 😊

Cool jumper Sean, you should have shown more of it. Did you make the mathematical connection between the tenth and the fourth doctor? Add that together and you get the Fourteenth, and it all adds up to David Tenant.

Re: NPH as an aspect of the Doctor. When he's throwing petals, NPH seems to be dressed as Santa, which might be a nod towards Nick Frost's Santa-as-Doctor's-subconscious in the christmas special with Capaldi and Coleman. Or yet another example of RTD being a tease. [Edit: subconscious, rather than unconscious]

The issue with NPH as the Celestial Toymaker is that... nothing we've seen looks like a game, and that's the Celetial Toymaker's entire schtick. The Master of the Land of Fiction reshaping a "real life" story from another medium (the comics) for the Doctor seems a lot more "on brand".
Now I could be wrong and the CT has challenged the Doctor to something like "have an adventure with Donna without triggering her memories", but that seems even more of a stretch.
Not going to lie, I had to pause the video for a moment after the 'David Fourteennant' line because I was giggling so much I was missing what you were saying next.
"What the heck is neil patrick harris doing here" is exactly what I proclaimed (in a room alone) when watching it too
I've watched a lot of reactions now, and nobody seems to mention the IMPOSSIBLE moment:
Where Donna and Doctor are both pegging it across a road together (right at end of trailer).
Unless it's very cleverly edited, HOW are they together again?
(that said, the way of Doctor Who is he says something is impossible and can "NEVER happen" .... yet it does, and what he said is instantly waved off)
I personally have a theory that Ncuti Gatwa's character at the end of the trailer ISN'T the 15th Doctor, but rather that it'll be another Cacilius situation, where he plays another character who interacts with the Doctor throughout the specials, and perhaps gives his life in some grand heroic way that leaves a lasting impression on the Doctor, meaning that when he regenerates again it is into the form of this hypothetical character. I mean I may be way off, but for one thing the costume he's wearing is nothing like the costume we've seen leaked as his 15th doctor costume, though I can't tell, it may just be the shirt of the 14th Doctor's costume, I don't know.

i am so stoked about all of this. i love the Doctor Donna so much and they had such a beautiful friendship. it was devastating the way they had to leave each other. As much as i love romantic tension with the Doctor, i do wish there were more 'best friend/family/twinsie energies'. All i can say is these episodes are going to mean so much to me. the Allons-y made me tear up with emotions lol

The shot of Neil Patrick Harris (STILL thinking he's the Toymaker) when he's wearing THE SAME VEST as the Tennant Doctor, kinda hints to me that the Tennant Doctor isn't his real form. Additionally, the shot that shows Gatwa saying "Can someone tell me what the hell is going on around here?!", if you'll notice, the sky looks to be the same as the cliff where Jodie's Doctor regenerated - making me think we're brought back there to have Gatwa's regeneration. Just theories and things I've noticed, but it all seems to fit.
I could be wrong, but I think that in the shot where the Doctor says "If she ever remembers me", he's talking to the Celestial Toymaker/Neil Patrick Harris's character. It's fuzzy, but the person facing the Doctor appears to have a white shirt sleeve and possibly a light brown vest, which matches the shot of the Celestial Toymaker we saw before. Does this mean that the Doctor is asking him for help with Donna's condition? Something else? Thanks for the great video, as always!
Maybe because of beep getting involved with rose, thus donna, he bargins with the toymaker to manupulate her memory but chaos ensues after leading into the other 2 specials?

I think Donna will be used as a battery to complete the regeneration to 15. She still has residual Regen energy from the metacrisis story. Similar to how the Regenerating cyber masters were used to bring 13 back. It might also save Donna from dying.

Those early 'Doctor Who Weekly' strips are epic! I'd love to see more of them adapted, or elements used from them and the back up strips. A certain Dalek killer is long overdue. He was made canon during Capaldi's time, after all.

Could also be not the dreamlord but the Valeyard. This would be his ultimate nemesis. Who else but himself? And Its still not clear when or if the Valeyard will arrive. We only knew about him that he is been born out of all the hatred and negative feelings of the Doctor. He should have been born on the Doctors Transalore years, but is not necessarily a regeneration of the Doctor...
It might be a trailer for the full set of Tennant's specials only because, with the end-spot of Ncuti, that would be curious if Mr Gatwa's Doctor should become a "regular" on the other remaining DT special episodes before fully assuming the role wholly for himself - *unless* he and DT are going to cooperate in those other episodes....
Just want to say I think Tennant and Tate look pretty good. Both are taking care of themselves obviously. I hope I look that good in 15 years.
I’m so excited I had no idea that clip of 15 that you guys keep using in close was real wow so they filmed the season nearly year and a half in advance by this time next years when it’s released. Anyways I’m so excited S4 is one of my favourite seasons and Tenant is my favourite doctor so the nostalgia I’m feeling is hefty.
NPH character could also be the showman from the circus episode of torchwood ( circus characters came out of the film )

I initially thought rose was an unknown child of danny and clara. I still don't know how he had a time traveling great grandchild after turning cyberman and dieing. Did I miss something in his story? Thank you to the whoculture cast for keeping dr. Who alive and relevant with all your amazing vids.

I am so excited. Watching the trailer felt like watching Doctor Who again. Don't get me wrong, Jodie was fine as the Doctor but it didn't really feel like Doctor Who. Can't wait for the first special in 2023.

Also I just realized that there is the rumour of Bonnie Langford appearing the 60th, which seems to be more and more true after her little cameo in the Centenary special and if she is in the 60th with Ruth Madley who also played a character alongside her and Colin Baker on audio, then maybe Shirley and Hebe are the same character and Shirley is a false name used by Hebe as she works undercover for UNIT and Mel knows about this.
Again, speculation, but it is curious that both these actresses might be involved in the same story and happen to have a connection to each other.
Quick question...or statement...or something that I think I noticed. In the shot of DT getting into the car, ( still at the bottom of the screen when Sean is talking at around 13 minutes...that's a big car. Not a black cab by the looks of it, the door isn't rounded enough, too angular, so...Range Rover? Who drives around in Black Range Rovers? TORCHWOOD! Not claiming it is, but that would be so-o-o-o-o cool! Imagine TW back! Ncuti and Barrowman!! Fabulous!

Love the breakdown! I can only hope that Donna does not fully regain her memories. As much as I would _love_ to see Donna happy with all of her memories back and everything, it would ruin her metaphorical death in "Journey's End."
NPH might also represent a character back when Sylvester McCoy was the doctor. I can not remember the name of the episode but it involved a circus for some powerful beings.

Theory what if the toy maker was making the game for the doctor who has been in it since the beginning of series 12th and daggled with the doctor ever since with her being a "timeless child and the master killing everyone on gallifray " which was part of the game and then the 14th doctor figured it out that he was in the game for a long time causing pretty much all of us fans to be happy.
I agree with the thought that almost all of this probably comes from the first episode of the three. RTD has promised surprises in the specials, so they are going to keep as much as they can under wraps. Especially since we are still 11 months away from the actual specials coming out. I actually wouldn't be that surprised to eventually find out that 80-90% of that trailer actually comes from the first half of the first episode.
