    dude the iphone is definitely worse .. some places in the photos you have shown is straight out flat in the iphone while you can feel depth of field in every point on the Canon version
    great vid btw keep up the good work

      Totally agree, there is nuance to the Canon’s images. Full frame sensors have a look that you just can’t replicate with smaller sensors, smart phones have gotten better with AI enhanced DOF, but it still feels fake. Maybe someday, but for now my R6 remains the camera I keep with me on trips!

    Where do you edit your photos? Do you apply lens correction on import for every picture?

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  27 днів тому +1

      I use Lightroom Classic to edit and manage my photos, and yes, I have it set to automatically apply lens profile corrections upon import.

    Would this be good for a youtube studio lens on a budget then i assume? Do you have glass eye my friend?

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  10 місяців тому +1

      Absolutely, this would make for a great lens for shooting A-Roll. Being f/1.8 you can get separation in smaller spaces which most UA-cam studios tend to be. Haha it’s real, I was born with Marcus Gunn syndrome which limits my ability to blink or use that eye 😊

    Hello Jason. Thumbs up and subbed. Quick question for you. I'm a new photographer, and I currently have a 50mm RF, 85mm RF and a 24-105mm *which I'm looking to sell. Shooting style is mainly portraits 95%. I do need a wide lens. Should I spring for the 24mm? (All non L lens) tks! Greetings from Bawwston. 🤙

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  3 місяці тому +1

      Appreciate that!! Man, that’s a tough one, I love the 24mm but it can feel a little wide at times, if I wanted a lens to complement a 50mm and 85mm, I think I would probably go 35mm. It’s such a versatile focal length for capturing, portraits, street photography, travel, some landscape work. I have a video on this channel about it if you want to see some examples, but I think that would be the lens I would go with! Since you have a 24-105mm, use tape of something to lock the lens at 24mm and shoot around, then do the same at 35mm and force yourself to try out the two focal lengths and see which one you like more! Hope that helps!

      @JasonPischke hey. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll definitely have to check out your video on the 35mm. I was also looking at this lens as well. But since it's so close to the 50mm. I'm on the fence to selling the 24-105 for the 24mm but now you have me thinking of getting the 35mm. Thoughts?

      Also wanted to add that I'll be looking to get into Real Estate. (In the future) 35mm cover indoor shots? Paired with a DJI RS3 mini for video.

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  3 місяці тому +1

      @@armani007E55 With real estate you are going to want the widest lens you can get your hands on. I would start out with the RF 15-30mm f/4.5-6.3 and then upgrade to L-Series glass if you find yourself getting a lot of work in the field.

    Rf 24mm or 35mm?

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  5 місяців тому

      Comes down to personal preference, I personally enjoy shooting with the 35mm just a touch more. It might be because I am so use to seeing everything shot with phones being 24mm, but they both are great lenses optically, both stabilized and both have macro functionality.

  • @АлександрЛапин-о8ш

    I have 35/2 ef. Need a bit wide angle.
    New lens - 28 or 24?))

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  Рік тому +1

      RF24mm is going to be the better lens in my opinion. The 28mm will be very close to your 35mm as far as FOV. The 24mm also has stabilization, a much closer focusing distance and the images at f1.8 feel more special than the 28mm shooting at f2.8. I did just post a video on the 28mm with sample images if you want to see for yourself some differences, but I really enjoyed my time with the 24mm.

      I have had the same problem, both focal lengths have very unique looks to them. I have not used the RF35mm yet, but hope to rent one soon and get a feel for it! This 24mm was a blast to shoot with, it makes the decision even harder haha.

    3:57 czy to jest nagrane w CLOG, a potem w programie do wideo obróbka? Zabrakło mi tylko testu stabilizacji samego obiektywu bez IBIS aparatu.

    • @JasonPischke
      @JasonPischke  5 місяців тому +1

      Wszystkie nagrania zostały wykonane w CLog3 i poddane korekcie kolorów po montażu. Niestety, nie ma możliwości korzystania wyłącznie z stabilizacji obiektywu w aparacie Canon R6. Stabilizacja działa albo dla obu, albo dla żadnego z systemów.

      @@JasonPischke rozumiem, szkoda, bo mam R8 bez IBIS i zastanawiam się jak ten obiektyw się sprawuje.
