Wow! love the review and the live footage of the run! Quick question, which Marathon did you run with the PXS2? and Would you recommend it for someone aiming for a 3hr 30m Marathon?
Thanks! It was the Loch Ness Marathon last Oct, I got a calf injury early on, but still managed a decent time partly due to the Shoe allowing me to lock (no pun intended) in a pace and cruise. For 3:30 I think this would be a good option depending on the marathon.
Yes, I used them mostly for long runs at Marathon pace during my training for the London Marathon. They protect the legs and allow you to up the tempo fairly easily.
Hi! V1 - I went true to size in my UK size 9, fits OK, but I have wide feet, so i get some pressure on my toes. V2 - Went up half a size, 9.5 and they feel more comfortable. If you don't have wide feet go TTS.
It is definitely the biggest weakness of the Shoe, but everyone is different and it might be fine for other people, and if it is you have an incredibly good shoe on your hands. I recently ran a 17:50 5km in the shoe and it felt very good.
Also check out my September payday deals video, if you are UK based, at around 3:25mins you can see a good offer for the Prime x2 - ua-cam.com/video/Z4v48yREa0U/v-deo.html - PS I don't make any money out of that, just want you to get a good deal my friend.
Not good lockdown and bottom heavy, hope they fix those things in the next version
Yes I agree, let’s hope they have learnt from the mistakes of the PXS2. If they have the next version could be amazing.
Yes, the next version will be very interesting, I suspect they will go back to the winning formula of V1 but more stable, possibly even lighter.
Just sold my Superblast 2's and purchased these as their replacement
Hope you enjoy them, remember they can be a bit firm and unwieldy at first, but once you learn to harness their power you will fly!

How do they fit should I get half size up
If you have wide feet, then go half a size up.

Is this worthy for $155 discount price ?
Absolutely, once you break this shoe in it’s great! Just remember it has a huge 50mm stack height.
I’m 4 mins in and you’re saying it’s giving you problems with your achilles? You may as end your review right there bro
