You are so welcome! That's how I got started so many years ago. My daddy bought me a dollhouse but it was empty he bought me a few items for it but almost everything I would ask for he would tell me I can make it. At first I didn't believe him. But I found out he was right! 💖☺️😃 Thank you for being here and allowing me to share!
So true that sometimes you need to warm up to a bigger project! I can get stuck just and zone out when I feel overwhelmed. It is also nice to have a project you can finish in one sitting. I tend to have several projects in different stages of development. Sometimes I feel like I will never finish them!
Absolutely know what you're talking about! But I think that's why I love dollhousing because it's so many different things that you can do! It never gets boring! YOU can work with fabric one day, the building another day and paint another day. But I have a real thing for seeing things come together. That's why doing these little baskets was great because it was almost instant gratification!☺️💖
Oh Gretchen they are Absolutely Adorable. You did a Fantastic job on them. I sure would likevthem for my dollhouse. Thank you for sharing your talent with us and talent it is. So until next time God Bless you and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. ❤❤❤
So cute! 🥰 The gingham is perfect for a charming country basket. The lace basket with the pearl handles would make an elegant centerpiece for a special meal. The little baskets are very versatile!😊
So very beautiful! You've given me an inspiration to try to make a basket from thick lace, stiffen with glue and embellishment as wanted! Thank you again for such lovely videos! ♡♡♡
Go for it! Yes yes yes that's what I want to hear! I used burlap but you can use fabric, ribbon and even LACE YES! I Love it!!!! 😍 You took the basic idea and made it your own!! I love to see what you MAKE!!!
Thanks so much! 😊 It was so much fun and almost immediate gratification I think that's why I like little projects like this! 😀 They are cute and really quick!!
Hi Gretchen, I love your little baskets filled with goodies, I made some rounder ones and put in fruit, vegetables, Butcher items like meats, I also made a basket with grocery items in and one for baby goodies, My dolls look like total shopaholics at this point lol, Thanks for sharing your beautiful creations ❤
Those sound Wonderful! 😃 I love the idea of the meat and grocery items! I have several food videos coming up so that's a really great idea! The dolls are preparing for the winter so sharing baskets of food among houses would only be natural!💖😃
@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 Absolutely there could be made up baskets filled with all the essentials for the winter, and also a Christmas one with tiny cookies and cakes in 😀, The grocery ones I did I really love, you can put so much in them including tiny gifts or you could also make an Easter basket, I loved making mine, So happy if I gave you an idea for your future videos, ♥️
No it doesn't rub off! If you allow it to dry and absorb into the burlap it's fine! Now if you don't give it time to dry it'll stain the fabric. And if you're not comfortable with staying you can use watered down brown 🟤 🤎 acrylic paint.
I never remember to purchase burlap but there's so much can be done with it. I never tire of baskets. I love any an all kinds and these are so cute and versatile! Um, your fruit "seconds" look just right to me. 😍 Mother Nature doesn't make hers perfect 😉🥰✨
I just love these, so simple yet so cute! Gotta try it, but still helping my mom move to Marquette with me. Be so glad when I can get back to miniaturing. So many great ideas(especially from you!), so little time!😅

Does the Stain rub off on other things when it is dry? I love all the tiny things you create :)
