Hey everyone hope you enjoyed the reaction! Once again if it’s too long you don’t have to watch it in one sitting!! See you next for a surprise movie and Stuart little! Also another special thanks to Cody for being on the channel, had a blast watching this with him😊

Bless you two for not realizing they are ALL ABBA SONGS. The musical was constructed entirely around ABBA songs. But this was such a fun reaction you two, great collaboration!
RIGHT? xD every time they were like is this just a couple popular songs, is this song from the movie my ABBA heart was like nooooooooooooo. And then at The Winner Takes It All they said it's a Cher song and I was internally screaming bc NO CHER SANG A COVER OF A BUNCH OF ABBA SONGS BC SHE WAY IN MAMMA MIA 2 ahahahhah. Hands down my favourite moment tho during Dancing Queen when they said oh look at that random guy just playing piano and I died a little bc random guy yep it's just one of the guys who originally wrote and performed ALL the music in this but whatever xD
@@nickflix8657 YES and EVERY DONG in this movie and the prequel/sequel "MAMA MIA: HERE WE GO AGAIN" are ABBA songs, You should REACT to that movie too, you will LOVE it and react to some actual videos of ABBA performing these songs.
Nick, there's no such thing as too much talking because if we wanted to see the movie without your thoughts, we would just watch the movie on it's own. We're here for *you!* 💕
I grew up with Abba, since my mother was a teenager in the 70s ( and we live in Scandinavia), I love the musical and the movies, but the original songs are still so much better than the movieversion.
So did I. My mom was born in the 70s and she loves ABBA so much. She used to play the song Mamma Mia all the time. Love that song. My other favorites are slipping through my fingers and honey honey.
The «random guy» on the docks during «dancing queen» is Benny Andersson. One of the members of Abba, who wrote all the songs in the 1970s and the musical back in 1999
I died when Cody said "this random guy" who played piano while the Song dancing queen. It is Benny from f*cking Abba!!!! Benny and Björn, the two Bs in abba, had made this Musical. This Musical is based on all the abba Songs so of course all the Songs are absolute bangers. Loved your Corporation!!!!!
This was such a fun reaction! I thought it was so funny that you guys totally recognized the songs just not that they were from ABBA! This is probably the first time I’ve seen such a blind reaction to this movie and I loved it! People keep pointing out one of the guys from ABBA making a cameo but I also wanted to note for y’all that Meryl Streep’s friend with the short hair was Molly Weasley in Harry Potter! Such an amazing cast of characters. The actors always rave about being in this movie and even admit they were pretty drunk for most of it, just having a blast. Loved this reaction and collab!
I love that all the 3 dads ended up being good friends at the end. It's just really nice they get along rather than trying to be the alpha male and fighting over her.
I also like how none of them hold grudges against her for any of it. Even Sam who has the most reason to never seems annoyed that she moved on from him so quickly
Absolutely love this colab 😍 enjoy watching both of you (found nicks channel through Cody a few months ago) love seeing channels support each other and loved the reaction 😁 x

I don’t mind a lot of talking I like knowing ur thoughts on all the scenes😂this movie is soo good. Dancing Queen & Lay all your love on me are my favorite songs from this film
Anyone one of these could be her father! Lol! That's what makes it so interesting. There is even a sequel that was released 10 years later, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
Mamma Mia! hands down is an iconic film from when I was around 7 or 8 years old. It’s so nostalgic to look back on. I’m glad that Nick and Cody are collabbing together. So wholesome!
I don't know if you guys know this now or not, but all of the songs in this musical were written and performed by a band called ABBA in the 70s and 80s. You may have heard covers of these songs by other people, but they were all written by the same band. The songs were written first.
FUN FACT: while filming this movie, the cast was given TONS of ABSINTH so the vibe was where the production needed it to be💀 they were drunk AF while filming this
So what Mamma Mia is is what we call a 'jukebox musical', which is a musical that uses existing music for its soundtrack rather than original songs. For Mamma Mia in particular, it uses the songs of the band ABBA, and I believe two members of the band actually helped write for it
I love this and all of ABBA's music. I love how they used their music for this musical play and movie. They drive the plot along and the music is so catchy. You 2 need to listen to their music. Also the 2 male members of ABBA produced this film and also have cameos. 1 was playing the piano during he Dancing Queen song. The other is later in the film.
Ever since I realized that 1 of Donna's friend is Molly Weasley. It makes the movie SO much better when you think this is Molly away from her kids on vacation 😂
YES!! and plus seeing all the main cast dressed in costumes like ABBA used to wear when they performed! During that part at the end that they DIDN'T SHOW, when I saw it in the movie theater, the entire audience stood up and sang along with the songs! It was SOOO MUCH FUN!!
I absolutely loved you guys' reactions to it, hearing your theories about what was gonna happen was super fun as well! I don't always like colabs between reactors as they sometimes don't pay any attention to the movie anymore, but this was great as you still cared about the movie :)
I love this movie, but it gets even funnier when you think about the fact that Rosie, the shorter of the mom's friends, is Julie Walters. Otherwise known as Mrs. Weasley from Harry Potter. 😜😜
lol this whole reaction is basically you two realizing you are fans of ABBA.. Love it, especially since you genuinely didn't know all of the songs are from 1 band
All these songs are from ABBA. They turned the random songs into a Broadway musical. The songs were not listed in the program to keep the audience guessing what was next. It was a huge hit!!
I laughed so hard during this video. Every time time you mention the music being good, and I’m just sitting here screaming at my tv that it’s bc they’re already hits 🤣 Sweet reaction btw, your nervousness translated into excitement 🥰 had some very sweet moments in here
Ohmygod, I LOVED it!!! Seriously guys, wonderfull collab!! Seriously, I would love yo see you react to more movie musicals because I think you would be amazed (and it's great when you show all your emotions, Nick), so yeah, keep up with your amazing job, dear!!
"this random guy playing the piano" is one of the composers, Benny Andersson. The second composer, Björn Ulvaeus, is seen in the end of the movie, think he's an angel or something like that... And it's ALL ABBA-songs... ;) FYI
mamma mia is such a throwback, this movie was all i watched during my childhood for a while and getting to watch the second one and sing along to all the abba songs in theatres was such an amazing experience im glad you're reacting to it :D
I loved this collaboration! The talking from both of you (never too much!) was really enjoyable, and it makes me so happy you both enjoyed ABBA music so much; it really is amazing.
I was blown away hearing Meryl Streep singing, I had no idea. The atmosphere at the cinema when my mum and I went to see it was awesome. Everyone was singling along. Bless you two for not knowing all the songs are ABBA songs. It's kinda lovely to know you went in completely blind. You absolutely have to see Mamma Mia 2.
Now you two need to do Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! I'd be very curious to see your reaction to that one as well. It's both a sequel and prequel to the first movie with flashbacks to when Donna met Bill, Harry, and Sam.
Fun fact (that probably a billion people already told): Pierce Brosnan "signed on" to the movie not realizing he was supposed to sing or that the piece was a musical at all. His agent called him while he was preparing the burial of his step father. When he was told that Meryl Streep was on boards he agreed without asking for details or anything even. A few days later he The bagpipe (in the scene after the argument on the morning of the wedding) shows the tartan of Brosnan's stepfather.
Hey great reaction Nick from both of you!! I have been an Abba fan from the beginning their music is so infectious and the fact that the younger generation is beginning to realize the greatness of this amazing group is just awesome! This movie is I guess a chick flick but I took my wife to see this movie because I knew Abbas music and we both love this movie in fact I didnt even know Meryl Streep could sing till I saw this. Now Cody knows why his grandmother loves this movie!!!
This is the movie me and my grandma would binge for days in a row back then, we actually watched it so much that the CD is completely destroyed lmaoo This was fun, nostalgia
I went to a stage production of Mamma Mia a little while ago. The director told the audience to sing along and be rowdy, people have a lot of fun with Mamma Mia. Unfortunately I ended up sitting next to my bishop so I couldn’t be quite as rowdy as I wanted
I loved this video so much! This is my favorite movie of all time and I think you and Cody work well together and play off of each other nicely. Would love to see your reaction to the second movie too!
I'm really glad you guys had so much fun with this! I've been listening to ABBA since I was a little kid, and I've never been a fan of this movie, but I really enjoyed watching you and Cody having fun with it. ^u^ I hope you'll do more collabs in the future!
The relationship between Sophie and her mom is more worked throughout the sequel. Most people don’t like the second one, but for me (being close to my mother) it was the one that really moved me.
I don't understand WHY some people seem to dis "MAMA MIA: HERE WE GO AGAIN," I LOVE it and it's a perfect sequel to it because we get to see what happened with Donna and Bill, Harry and Sam when she was seeing each one of them back then, PLUS seeing what happened years after the original Mama Mia. PLUS we get to hear MORE ABBA songs.
This movie is one of my all time faves, it always has me crying into my popcorn 😂 I remember going to the movies with my grandparents to see this movie. The theatre was packed and everyone was out there seats dancing and singing along to the music. By far my most rememberable trip to the movies, had a fantastic time and the atmosphere was electrifying. Loved it and love it still! Thank you for your reaction and you did very well with this collab. Keep up the great work, Nick! I look forward to your future reactions ❤️🥰
This was the last movie me and mom saw before her passing two years later 💔 this was one of her favorites plus she and I saw the broadway musical before this movie came out as well for mothers day and all the songs of the movie are abba
Finally finished watching and what a fun collab!! It's great to see you making friends here and finally getting to collab! I really enjoyed how you guys had no idea who the father could be and kept guessing. And I also totally agree being an extra on this film seemed like it was so much fun!! I hope if you guys watch the 2nd film you guys collab again! It was a lot of fun and thanks for bringing us this special video!!
Absolutely love this colab 😍 enjoy watching both of you (found your channel through Cody a few months ago) love seeing channels support each other and loved the reaction 😁 x
Such a great review ! I love both you guys so it was so fun to see you react together. It’s just a fun movie silly movie and you can’t help singing along and smiling the whole time. This is still a go to movie for me when I need some cheering up or movie night in with some friends.
What a sweet collaboration! You guys are awesome, and I really REALLY hope you'll end up coming back together again for Mamma Mia 2! I think it's one of those rare sequels that manages to outshine the first in a lot of ways; just such a surprise and delight 😊
this movie is one of my favorites; it’s just so fun and colorful, how could you not like it lol. i’m so glad you recognized it’s structured like a Broadway musical, rather than a movie that has musical numbers if that makes any sense? i love musical theater and it would be so fun to see you react to some. there are professionally filmed versions out there. Hamilton is on Disney+, the original into the woods and Sunday in the park with George you can find on UA-cam, to name a few. loved the collab ❤️
Great reaction you two! I giggled when I head you say they must've just chosen a bunch of songs from that time period 😆 ABBA.. It's ABBA... Haha. You know.. This film was an adaption of the musical by the same name. So the musical came first, then this film and a couple of years ago they made a second film. If you liked this, you will like the second one as well! 🎶🎉
OMGGGGGGGGG, it's happening!!!💗🙈✨ my favs collaborating again for a reaction, this time as a duo, watching one of my fav movies as well & iT's nOt evEn CHrisTmAs yEt!! Thanks Nick, thanks Cody!!!
Loved this reaction! Thanks for introducing me to a great new reactor to follow 😀 My little 14-year-old cousin is going to be in this musical at her school this spring, in the ensemble, and I couldn't be more thrilled for her. It's one of my favorites! Nick, do yourself a favor and check out a live musical sometime. Broadway-quality shows are amazing, but your local community theater will thank you for supporting them by seeing a musical or play, and those can be just as fun. Also, just want to say that I love to see men reacting to musicals like this with an open mind and heart. Mad respect to you guys for not being afraid to both laugh and cry. It's the human experience 🥰
I loved this reaction Nick! I loved all the talking! Anyone who complains about too much talking needs to stop watching reaction videos, because that's kinda the point of them! This collaboration was lots of fun!
Nick you did such an amazing job editing this! I'm so surprised how much of the songs you were able to include, and I don't feel like we missed anything important story-wise 🙏
@@nickflix8657 You did a SUPER job, yours is the ONLY reaction to "MAMA MIA" that I LIKED, because you actually included BITS of the music, where the OTHER reactors just totally muted the songs....it felt so disjointed and the music is a big part of the story. I understand that due to copyright you can't play the songs all the way through, but you CAN play SOME of it like YOU did, plus you showed more of the story line seamlessly, where other reactors seemed all over the place. Their's were difficult and boring to watch.
Omg I first watched this movie when I was a kid with my mom. Its our movie. It always makes us laugh and sometimes cry. We have great memories of watching it together. We sing the songs all the time. Mamma Mia will always be close to my heart.. On my 21st birthday Mamma Mia 2 came out and all I wanted to do for that birthday was go watch watch it with my mom at the movie theater. It was awesome. ^^
Wow, this is like one of the last movies I'd ever expect you to react to! This is definitely a comfort movie for me, lol. But I'm also a pretty big Abba fan :P I'd point out all the songs in the movie are Abba songs, but I'm guessing from the other comments you know that by now :P
Played keyboards in the pit of a production of the stage musical. So inventive how the writers, in collaboration with Benny and Bjorn (from ABBA) were able to take the ABBA catalog of music and piece together a whole show/plotline, based on the lyrics to all their music. While I'm a big fan of this movie, the sequel, Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again, is actually better than the original. I'd highly suggest a reaction video!
It's very important for me that you both know that Rosie (Donna's friend who goes after Bill at the end) is Mrs Weasley in Harry Potter. Also how can you not know ABBA???
Nick and his obsession with water hahaha. I thought I wouldn't like the video, because when there's more than one person reacting together, usually they pay less attention and talk too much. But this one I really enjoyed, it was very well done and the talking was very ballanced, congrats!!
The collab was different from what you normally do, but variety is the spice of life lol. At first I was a little hesitant but it turned out very well, I'm honestly hoping for both of you to react to Mamma Mia 2!
24:20 the guy on the piano- that’s actually Benny Andersson, on of the members from ABBA, which the movie is based on :) Benny helped with the production btw, especially with the singing

This was the last movie me and mom saw before her passing two years later 💔 this was one of her favorites plus she and I saw the broadway musical before this movie came out as well for mothers day and all the songs of the movie are abba
sorry for your loss. 💕 this and the sequel are special movies for me and my mom as well.
That was a very enjoyable reaction. I had a blast!
I love this already. Now you two need to do part two
If I remember correctly every song in this is by ABBA
Yes, you are correct.
this movie is one of my favorites; it’s just so fun and colorful, how could you not like it lol. i’m so glad you recognized it’s structured like a Broadway musical, rather than a movie that has musical numbers if that makes any sense? i love musical theater and it would be so fun to see you react to some. there are professionally filmed versions out there. Hamilton is on Disney+, the original into the woods and Sunday in the park with George you can find on UA-cam, to name a few. loved the collab ❤️
NOW THE SEQUEL!! this one’s the best though, loved the reaction!
Nick great collaboration man! You and Cody definitely should do this more often! VERY ENTERTAINING!
Loved the reaction and you and Cody were great to watch together! You should for sure collab with him again! I love this movie so much!
Cody is awesome 👌
I NEVER THOUGHT I SEE THIS DAY. A COLLAB BETWEEN BOTH MY FAV MOVIE REACTORS.
I loved this reaction Nick! I loved all the talking! Anyone who complains about too much talking needs to stop watching reaction videos, because that's kinda the point of them! This collaboration was lots of fun!
Two of my favourite reactors! Great job guys! 👏
Nick you did such an amazing job editing this! I'm so surprised how much of the songs you were able to include, and I don't feel like we missed anything important story-wise 🙏
Thanks so much, really proud of how I edited this one!
@@nickflix8657 you should be! It was smoothly edited, the story flowed super well.
Great reaction you guys! I really liked watching you enjoying this movie. This is certainly a very fun and entertaining movie, and I love the cast!
This is like perfect. Really appreciate this reaction!!
Amazing collaboration! Now we both need you two to come back for the sequel!
11:45 reportedly, basically the entire cast was drunk during the entire filming. They just had so much fun, and it shows on screen 😊
Two of my fave movie reactors, awesomeee. Thanks for doing this movie, loved it 😊
My absolute favourite movie , the second one has the most amazing soundtrack and I can't wait on you guys doing that
The "random guy" playing piano at 24:21 is actually a member of ABBA: The Band who made all these songs.
Wow, this is like one of the last movies I'd ever expect you to react to! This is definitely a comfort movie for me, lol. But I'm also a pretty big Abba fan :P
I'd point out all the songs in the movie are Abba songs, but I'm guessing from the other comments you know that by now :P
The fact that they are oblivious to the fact it’s an ABBA musical and literally all the songs are by ABBA makes this reaction even more entertaining 😂
I love ABBA. I used to sneak my mom's albums when I was a kid and listen in my room.
Yea maybe you can react to mamma Mia 2
It's very important for me that you both know that Rosie (Donna's friend who goes after Bill at the end) is Mrs Weasley in Harry Potter. Also how can you not know ABBA???
Nick and his obsession with water hahaha.
I thought I wouldn't like the video, because when there's more than one person reacting together, usually they pay less attention and talk too much. But this one I really enjoyed, it was very well done and the talking was very ballanced, congrats!!
Who else hopes our man Nick does a crossover with this guy and the kid he watched “Elf” with one video. That would be awesome.
He also did The Lion King 1 and 2 with him. Loved those as well!
SUCH a good reaction. I love this musical and i love ABBA 💖 You guys did a great job with this collab!!
The collab was different from what you normally do, but variety is the spice of life lol. At first I was a little hesitant but it turned out very well, I'm honestly hoping for both of you to react to Mamma Mia 2!
I love this collab, I hope you do more in the future
24:20 the guy on the piano- that’s actually Benny Andersson, on of the members from ABBA, which the movie is based on :)
Benny helped with the production btw, especially with the singing
I remember going to see this in theaters! My friends and I were obsessed with the music
