Fantastic. The comparison with the Autogefuhl video of 2016 about the ID3 shows just how they have managed to build close to the concept, and how this channel just continues to get even better.

This car looks really nice, that black thing over the hood is a bit weird but it's not like it makes that big of a difference on the looks. The rear looks incredible
is it possible that the black thing is a cover for a pedestrian airbag?
They should remove it, it is ugly.. one reason i wouldn’t buy it.
Although aimed at different customers I personally prefer the exterior & especially interior of the Vauxhall/opal Corsa.
Why just 2 window switches?
Do you press "Rear" and use the same switches?
If this car is as efficient as VW advertises it will be the greatest car for their future!
I wish they reduce the size of the rear spoiler. It is too elongated I think. Maybe for aero but I think they could have done a better design approach.

Will there ever be an ID.3 Plus? Something with higher seating for people who like to sit higher up but shorter than the ID.4!
Love this car. I hope they have a GTI or R version with a higher top speed.
VW already said they will launch a 4 Wheel drive Version of the ID.3 with muich more power, think that should become the GTI Version

Hey, Autogefuel people! 2 months ago you said you are going to test drive it in November. Did you drive it yeat and you have to wait until December until you can post a video about it? Or something else?

The specs look great - 350 miles range and a compact form, and aimed at the affordable end of the market. If VW can make this happen, they will win, otherwise if Tesla get there first, then this could be the end of VW. It's really a make or break project for VW.
ID.3 was OK for a project code, but for production Volkswagen Beetle would make more sense as the electric people's car which replaces the fossil fuel Beetle. Calling it the next generation Beetle would signal EVs as central to the future of the VW brand. 😎
Very nice but it looks tall, white looks way better. Don't like piano shiny black on instruments matte black looks more classy.
Home Tech yes the gloss black is horrible. I can already imagine the scratches and fingerprints building up
Price in UK close to £34,000-£35,000 which is cost of base Tesla Model 3. With that 10 inch screen the ID3 is overpriced.
Also the cheap seats does not compete to the leather seats in model 3.

Unlike their first statements, this won't be available for less than 30.000 € unless you don't want an "empty" car and even if you choose the higher trim levels, the interior doesn't match the price point...
I think VW is the only brand that is directly competing with TESLA . We will have to see production numbers when its starts production.

Interior design and material are a big disappointment; what a shame, VW decided to go with the tablet screen dashboard 👎
This reveal has been so drawn out, I'm bored of the car already. It even looked better in the camouflage, it just looks very underwhelming.

Underwhelming. Need a heat pump? Yes of course you do, just pick the 'Linie 3' option package for 10.000 Euro, and you'll get it...
I registered for one of these, but after seeing the incredibly disappointing design I will be sticking with my Kia E-niro 2nd gen order. Think they've over designed the interior and it just looks weird, and the exterior is all over the place. I thought it was going to look much classier. Shame.

This car is aircooled. In winter terrible. No range.
Hyundai is the winner. EUROPE must learn a lot on electrisch.... model good, car is not cheap, no extra’s. Or a lot af money more.

Hmm i know this is much more practical, but damn the Model 3 looks so much better. I really don't like this design. Looks like some spacecar made of plastic.

Akuphon Apparently the marketing team tried to reach you for a suitable name but you were unavailable, so they went with "Intuitive Device".

Not a fan of the looks, even when it started in concept form. ID Buzz was my only pick.
As a design the Honda e Prototype trumps this in all areas.
Horrible armrest
The passat is way bigger inside then this id3
The interior is very poor with lack of practicality and personality. Bad for weird designers and great work for engeneers.
