I bought the r400 2 months ago and i regretted it i wish i would of gone with a single exit. The r400 is very deep but nothing to exciting. Single exits i've noticed have a distinct and beautiful sound. if you're watching this please go with a single exit.
People that say these sound like Honda's need their ears checked. Sounds good. Doesn't have as much rumble as a Tomei does, but still sounds clean. The FA20 still has a bit of rumble, just nothing compared to the STi. Love the vids man!
No they don’t?? And while you said it yourself it’s the headers, it’s still a completely different engine with different turbo, injection setup, heads ect, it’s never gonna sound the same and even aftermarket UEL headers on STIs don’t sound as good as the factory ones and just sound raspy. But this whole flat 4s all have a rumble is complete nonsense WRXs straight up sound like a civic or some riced up lancer. They don’t have a rumble in the slightest and even with UELH they make for them to convert them they still don’t sound great
Tomei is supposedly susceptible to cracking at the welds, has stupid springs that rattle unless you heat shrink them and stupid slide joints instead of proper flanges, the rear muffler has a crappy adjustable band which goes around it which has lots of play in it and is pretty ugly as opposed to just having exhaust hangers welded to the muffler so you can’t see them, and it simply won’t last anywhere near as long as the 1.5mm tubing of the N1. N1 all day, every day. It sounds amazing and the Tomei only really sounds good when hammering it and doesn’t sound that good when just driving lightly where the N1 sounds good at all RPMs and loads.
@@RyansRandomActs That is fine with me due to mainly mine being a daily driver I don't want it to be too crazy loud. Just want it to sound a bit better than stock. I saw a lot of good reviews on it.
It's really not that quiet. It's quite a bit louder than stock, esp inside the car. That being said, it really does sound sick. Mine is on an 18 STI and it's note is deep and and full. It puts a smile on my face every day. The fit and finish were perfect as well.
@@Justasnag That is awesome to hear! I appreciate your input! That is mainly what I thought going into it was its mainly a "deeper" tone than stock and that is honestly what I was aiming for in this exhaust! And on top of that it looks insanely good, now just time to install it!
🤘🏼 I like it!
This will break your valves

Manuel Castro just saw this as I was about to get r400, I’m going the single exit now
Single exit always the way to go
I've always been a single outlet fan! Sounds better and less crap hanging out the back.
F a c k !!!!!

@@mrgogt_ Bay area i just paid 5 flat for 91*
Biden happened.
The uel headers make the car sound different not the motor. All flat four engines have that RUMBLE

the invidia n1 sounds better on the STI but it still is cool on the WRX
Tomei or N1?
For the money N1 all day.
