Invidia N1 vs. Tomei: Which You Should Buy & Comparison

- The famous question...buy a Invidia N1 right now since its half price or save up longer and buy a Tomei Ti Expreme catback exhaust for my Subaru. Long story short, aside from the pops and bangs you get from the Tomei. The more desnse, straight shape, and clean titanium build is the way to go for such a deep sounding car. Stainless steel cannot hit the exhaust note with a boxer engine powering it that I look for. It adds a very airy and turbo whistley sound that just screams when you're on the gas..I love it! the quality and effort you put into your videos is phenomenal, hopefully I spelled that right😁 I own a 350z not an sti but hope it helps many! you should make a detailed video explaining the differences between exhausts for us z owners if you've had anything else but the tomei!

Tbh i haven't heard the tomei in person so idk what the hype is about, but i agree in videos, the N1 has a deeper cleaner tone which i like.
Tomei always seems to sound just too loud and droney, good when you're a teenager or in your early 20s but personally as I've gotten older I can't stand obnoxiously loud exhausts.
Much prefer a quality resonated catback, still sounds better than stock but doesn't sound raspy or like a hive of angry bees

I could just have that sound on it headphones all day long and never get tired of it. In my humble opinion this car with the tomei has one of the best exhaust notes in the world
Great video, love the drive-by shots. Tomei sounds awesome but single exit is a deal breaker for me personally, so I wouldn't run either. I got the Corsa performance exhaust and I couldn't be happier.

I didn't dislike at all the N1, sounds more scooby side, low and high rpm, titanium Tomei just add low pitch on the sound, I get it, perform side Tomei are superior! my 2 cents!
I watched this and ended up with the tomei. Was about get get the N1 since my wagon is also a daily and have a 2 year old haha she loved the car. I have a full Cobb downpipe and exhaust it’s not super loud till you wot. But I think tomei does sound a little better. For anyone that is thinking about Cobb, it’s honestly great for a daily you get the low rumble and won’t wake up the neighborhood. I’m just chasing sound atm. Plus want to hear a little more burble since I’m running a burble tune from drunkman. Great video best comparison video out!

Have the tomei and love it...the other exaust I was looking at was the invidia Q400 which I might get later on when my build gets more serious like headers and straight pipe

My vehicle is a bit different, 95 model wrx wagon from Japan, it has a custom exhaust on it, but was damaged when i bought it, and I’m building a new one. All I need at this point is the muffler. Any specs on the muffler lengths on each of these? I’m needing something shorter than 15 inches muffler length without the tip.

@@z32mike think about it i owned one in my bugeye and it’s really raspy with a equal length headers and a cat less bellmouth down pipe but the invidia sounds more deeper and not raspy

IMO, Tomei catback should target at Invidia N1 Titanium instead of N1 Race.
Check out the AWE tuning exhausts. Just got mine on, sounds super aggressive but no drone!
I'm sorry, you have AWE on a Subbie? didn't know they made em for Subaru's. A buddy of mine has an AWE on his Audi and it sounds like a jag with anger issues!
Two different exhaust but not a huge difference in sound. My question more so is what's the dyno say are there much in hp numbers. Because for another $500 or so plus I can't see buying an exhaust just because of its name and street credit of saying I own a Tomei. My thoughts.

Did the N1 have pie cuts in the tube bends like the Tomei? I didn't think Ti liked bending and radii had to cut/spliced/welded to achieve a bend...how was build quality on each? Did you address the open rear valance cutout with a plate? Cheers to furthering the community. 🍻

N1 sounds mean but tomei sounds aggressive if that make sense
The tomei sound is less droning and it sounds a lot cleaner and crispy..

What downpipe are you running? I have an Nvidia catless dp with ets extreme non resonated no mufflers and it's way to loud. Are these clips with a cat or without?

NASTI hows the car on stock internals, looking at about 400 hp
@@smashersmasher2061 good if you stay on top of maintenance, get a good tune, and drive it properly (dont lug and etc.). im over 400 lb/ft of torque with fbo, flex fuel on stock turbo and stock block. highly recommend e85 for power and reliability

That’s a huge difference in flow for exhaust. Hence why tomei pops more. N makes more power.
