just got my tomei for my 350z too
Low key liked the cheaper one more. Tomei is too tinny/raspy sounding.
I like how deep the cheap one is but at the higher rpms I prefer the tomei

Honestly for 122 that DNA motoring exhaust is a steal but the tomie deff sound better

Thanks for the review Chris. You can tell are lower RPMs there is not a huge noticeable difference but definitely at the odd and high RPMs, the Tomei have a refine sound. Happy you are going with this brand since people goes with Invida or Magnaflow; it is just something different. BTW, love the FR-S rebuild and it is amazing to see it evolve after 2 yrs since I have been subscribed. Stay safe bro.

I just wish the Tomei looked better. If you don't properly install it, it'll hang like a cheap honda civic fartcan. Which is why I went with the Greddy RS single exit, and with the Greddy RS cat-back, you can actually swap out the tip, and Greddy sells tips. I got a Titanium turn down tip. Mine sounds more like your homies, deep and softer. I'm thinking about getting an RK Titanium mid pipe to right single exit, and hopefully I can find someone to weld a V-Band into a Vibrant Titanium muffler or if Greddy releases their new RS Ti muffler soon, I'll do that. I do like the raw raspy sound of titanium tbh
If you have a discount tires somewhere near you they can update your tpms to your car & get that light off your dash for free I went there for my 2020 wrx

Chris actually has a catted Perrin j pipe.
Only difference is how much you'll have left to rebuild the motor when it breaks.

Yeah I would hate to melt my diffuser like that, tomei is easily adjusted by rotating muffle and tightening clamp, Chris if I were you I’d raise it up just a tad bit that just me, love the car and vids man!

I was gonna ask them same thing, it looks like headgasket or piston rings might be shot im not too familiar with wrx's tho so idk
Sometimes WRXs burn oil after going stage 2 from the turbo getting too much oil and people add a oil restrictor to solve this, Perrin makes a solution
Low miles can’t be head gasket even tho these subirá are know you blow things when tuned

So just a quick question. Have you, Chris, or anyone else heard of the company BlackHorse racing? The reason I ask is because they have a catback, 3" dual exit quad tip stainless steel exhaust for about $670. It has comparisons to the invidia R400 as per sound and all that. It's tempting given the price and i really wanna get an aftermarket exhaust for my 2018 WRX limited.

Just bought the Cobb big sf intake and accessport, any advise on the install?
straight forward install. Don’t tighten the intake pipe too much to the turbo inlet pipe cause the stock turbo inlet is plastic. Can warp if too tight and cause a leak!
I’m hearing a lot more turbo spool with the Tomei in comparison to the DNA Motoring.. is that the way it is in real life? Or is the camera mic messing with itv
