This Song Takes Me Back To 80s
the band sounds great, and Martha's voice is still amazing!!
She still gives me chills, what a voice! Thank you Martha.💕
Give Martha some credit..... she's still brining it!
Martha and Amie Mann are very under-appreciated IMO... Spectacular for any age.
Her voice still has it! Sounds great
She is better than many 90s and 2000s female singers! 80s goddess
She still looks and sounds absolutely fabulous!
She’s amazing!
Beautiful Voice! Good morning from New Zealand
great voice...brings back a lot of memories
What a voice what a woman wow
I like this version better than the album version: less keyboard but more guitar! Keyboards are not bad, but they date the song. The added guitar just keeps the song rocking! :)
she is fantastic....wow what a memory
Un tremendo tema!! Que grande Martha Davis!!! Saludos desde Santiago de Chile 🇨🇱
This song was good. It was one of those songs that kind of grew on you .
What a great band!
Martha , hasn't lost a damn thing!!
She still can make you get the memories of the last summer. Great!!!
The Rolling Stones have nothing on this girl!! Amazing after all these years!!
I think they're very different. I'm a Stones gal, but love the Motels. :) Happy Thanksgiving!
Love this song
Martha & MTV.....The Seeds Of My Youth
What a lovely voice....
still sound great
LEGEND
excellent!!
I always like there sound. Only the lonely and this one, Suddenly last summer were probably the most played on the radio back in the day. Great memories.
Beautiful live performance.
Que buena musica👏🎶 me encanta la guitarra keep it up 👏buena suerte
She is tough! To sound as good or better than the studio version. Serious talent.
love this song; thanks for posting this for us to enjoy and remember :-)
Thanx so much for sharing this, great filming job!
That was a fricken spectacular performance, Martha & her band destroyed the studio version. 10.5/10
just thinking she's probably got grandkids now. how cool would that be to have a grandmother that rocks
Martha 💖💙💜
So very cool!!
Love it!
Awesome Stuff fm Martha and The Guys.
thanks
Friggin great.
Still sounds great
I recognize that voice!! :)
Her voice is like fine red wine, a Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah for sure.
The guy playing the Tele is getting a great sound
She may not have aged well. But DAMN!!! She STILL sounds good!!!
I liked her solo fast version of this song ~
Wow. Her voice sounds as good as it did on the original recording. There aren't too many female vocalists her age that can do as well. A shame they didn't use keyboards during this live performance, because they add so much to the song.
Martha is still pretty and talented
Great camera work..thanks
she hasnt lost her voice one single bit !!!!!
FOCUS!
That's funny... you posted this comment as I was driving to Walnut Creek to see... Martha Davis and The Motels in concert. I'll have a new article up on this show with Bow Wow Wow and Dramarama on my site tomorrow (and a few new videos).
Jason
P.S. I love Aimee Mann as well!
Think of the female singers that were fronting bands when Martha started not many
what happened to the motels, this is not the motels that I remember at all. Martha's voice still sounds great. bring back the real motels
Martha is the motels. Without her they had nothing.
Get going on a new album, and come to PNW to do a concert at the Tacoma DOme!!
she reminds me of Christine hind. they can be be sisters.
I've never seen anyone play a power chord by tucking their pinky behind the neck. Interesting. Whatever works!
I miss the keyboards...
Dan, search UA-cam for "Best Digital Cameras for Live Music Concert Photos & Video (Sony HX20V, Sony RX100, Fuji X100)" - I put up a video about it with a link to my article on my site. This was shot with a Sony HX20V. I recently got the HX50V which is mostly the same but with a longer reach.
dad is not taking care of that solo
I liked her solo fast version of this song ~
