A rubber sticky ball case back opener will open it, place in a watch vice so you can get plenty leverage to it,it will open I love these little watches so simple, highly practical comfortable highly regulatable mine run +2/3 a day main one daily beater 3 yrs + set wind it's ran perfectly since I swapped the staple for a good quality leather all told cost me around £50 I wouldn't be without it I'm gonna strip and service it soon, I know a lot more about these watches if anyone is interested but just a quick post here.
Yes! At some point I need to get one of those rubber balls, I've seen them used, but haven't picked one up yet. Yeah I'd definitely be interested in learning more about these watches. I need to do a deep dive for sure.
