I suggest you do a video on the "high-end" AliExpress watches, like San Martin. I think you'll be genuinely stunned by the quality of what you can get for less than $250 (in a good way!).

I've been impressed by AliExpress brands in the past, but you gotta spend some money. I paid $30 for a Pagani watch that I wear regularly, stunning ice blue dial that looks fantastic on a brown leather band. Another dive watch I paid $60 for a ceramic dial and bezel, it's not bad at all. I'll keep building my own watches from AliX parts, though. Great video Elliot
I just bought a pagani root beer for £45. I couldn't even make one from parts for that, it's crackers. Going to add my own dial to it just to make it my own.
Honestly, for someone just getting into watches, Aliexpress is a great way to try out a load of different styles, sizes, colours, complications etc for very little money, to see what you actually like before you splash the cash on a big watch purchase that you might end up having some regrets about.

I asked them how much they thought I was worth and the woman who made it shorter for me said between €300 and €500. She nearly passed out when I said I only paid €1,79 😂
Picked up a MaMaCoo 's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

MAMACOO is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements.That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing！
Just bear in mind for anyone who doesn't know, most watches from that website that are under 40-ish pounds come with zinc-alloy cases, not steel, and the plating on them can degrade quite quickly. They also tend to have poorly defined edges and surfaces because they're cast, not milled. Check the specs before ordering.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH

It's always amazing when manufacturers put so much in one product cutting corners and spending the budget in the most effective way they could think of. More expensive watches can't deliver so much value for money as a good cheap watch so they are just safe boring options that just barely meet expectations. Watches are not THAT complicated they tell us. They are not microprocessors that could only be made in like one or two places on the whole planet. Throwing money in watches reach the quality and coolness limit fast enough. Like $300-$1000 would buy a good watch but paying more would result in getting a useless fancy toy with brand stories which keeps time bad since it's hard to create something smart and technological and it's easy to just sell XIX century technologies and traditions.

I ordered yesterday an epic watch... NOS Tango orange kinda a Swatch looking thing with the seconds hand a can of Tango whizzing round the dial and the dial is neon orange of course :) Kwaliteeeeeee! I am wearing my home built Cadio Rompass, the NH34 powered Radio Compass homage I built, I do have incoming another very high quality Avia-matic in gold and this last week was wearing my 1935 Rotary in its Dennison Meteor case on a WW1 era cuff, the Rotary keeps excellent time despite being 89 years old and the coal black leather cuff strap I got from a chap in Spain he makes them to original WW1 patterns and it looks bloomin' gawjus :D Watching this as I strip down my freemans PS3 Phat, works absolutely fine just no HDMI output.
I paid 28 quid for my fake apple watch ultra, it's mint, OLED screen, full android play store, hidden camera in the crown, it plays ds games, battery life is amazing and it's super bright and clear, nothing wrong with cheap watches if they are good
Sander's Tank homage series are really cool. I got a Pablo Raez, a rose gold Tank Solo homage, and till now, I am still amazed how it looks for ard 10pounds, even original Tank Solo does not come with rose gold colour.
My old man was a commercial scuba diver back in the day when divers actually still used dive watches. Back when we didn't have dive computers to tell us everything we needed to know. (Yes I'm also a certified diver). Pops said that back in the day, the dive watches would usually last about six months before they had to be replaced. Even the really expensive ones. This would have been sometime in the 70s or early 80s. Also I highly doubt that green watch could handle 3 atmospheres of pressure.
This is the first video of yours I've ever seen, pretty different to the majority of UA-cam watch review channels. The reality is, there's a load of cheap shite on Ali Express. But there's also some really good stuff, especially San Martin, Baltany etc. If I compare my Seiko Prospex to my San Martin diver, there isn't 800 quids worth of difference. BTW, Moon Biffy is my new fave Chinese brand name 😅
Sanda actually makes some pretty good watches honestly, I bought a lookalike AP sanda and I’ve had it for 3 years now. Keeps the time perfectly well and is always ticking
Some reviewers say that Sanda actually pays attention to small things (like firmware features people wanted Casio to implement), not just produces lookalikes.
Nice to see MAMACOO show a watch that can be afforded by almost anyone rather than these pieces costing thousands and thousands which are out of reach for so many.

For the pirce. The watches aren't that bad. Considering how much you'd pay for them. You should compare them more to fossil and invicta especially.
