its lucklly i acounter and swap out for free one of earlly & rare UG Compur telemeters and its seats allready in my collector box ^-^ wyth oryginal 281 cal. - so i wos lucku enough to winn the faith lottery before thys bomb blou off :P

How come your maxbil, the markers and numerals seem to shine in the line? I'm confused about them. Are they metalic? What color are they exactly?

That is cool. Too much at the 12. Shouldn't have the indices, triangle, brand, and an L. WAY WAY too much. Half of that should be gone at least. Cool that the case has no sharp 90 degree edges, .. nice watch.

Nice watch! 👍❤️👌Any good watch maker can do a water pressure test (and change gaskets if needed) & change battery. To have a watch hit the markers (if dismantled) is risky if serviced (chance of misalignment is more possible). 😳

Genuine military pedigree - not a marketing exercise, not a ‘faithful’ redo of the original, not a mass market dressed up version of the original - a CWC is the real deal

I was gifted a Marathon the tritium tubes can only be seen when it’s dark but I love it.

Interesting, I didn't realise they did the sapphire version. I've been tempted by the acrylic version which has a battery hatch in the back, but as you say the WR is disappointing.

Very cool watch! Obviously not a Seiko. It hits the markers. Great Lume! Their website says, the battery is a Renata 371 with three to four years lifetime. And it says out of stock. 🕐⚙️🍸

I do like a CWC, keep selling them, always popular the G10 whatever manufacturer.

Beautiful watch

Had to pause your video, and put on my standard G10! These are indeed great watches, robust and easy to use. I have worn mine through a long tough stay in hospital some years ago, so it really means a lot to me - more than any of my more "fancy" watches. I wear mine on the CWC military marked battleship grey and army green straps, and even have some of the (tricky to use) Falkland straps from CWC. Its a watch that was tough enough for the british soldiers in the Falkland war - yet also cool enough to be worn by the late Leonard Cohen. So, for sure its good enough for me.

Hello- new to your channel and I enjoyed this video. It's always good to see interesting watches like this that don't begin with a C. Apart from a lot of junk, the big C really need some better competition.

What an amazing way to waste time measuring springbars. My wife thinks I am crazy whenever I am sizing my spring bars when they get mixed up

I don't get into digital watches at all. But that Bently design g300. Of I got the name right is pretty cool.

I was always hesitant on getting this because of the 30 meters resistance. I tend to find myself in water often...

Love g shocks,both analog and digital, relatively inexpensive, very durable, cool variety of shapes and colors.

One more thing. I checked out the Benlydesign watch. It's too expensive for me here in Europe (approx. $160 before VAT and customs). Anyway, it seems like it doesn't have a backlight function. For me, an LCD watch without a backlight is a hard pass. Just thought people should know before buying.

It seems to be very well made and at a reasonable price for its quality. I've seen a review video about it, and was impressed.

My little problem with digital displays is that I always try to calculate. What the heck is 11 by 12? So I have to look at least three times before I know the current time. O_o 🕐⚙️🍸

According to my timegrapher, my phone apps are extremely accurate.

Have only recently subscribed to this channel, much enjoyed, at 64, have only been buying and collecting watches for three years, I like a quartz as much as I do an automatic or mechanical watch, I have more g shocks than anything, but I also have a Bulova Accutron Astronaut with that half display back, a gmt with an ETA movement. Happy New Year Norman.

Watch accuracy meter app is top notch 👍🏻 not even necessary to put the watch *on* the microphone - just beneath it suffises plenty 👌🏻 which also has the advantage of NOT magnetising your watch as much as compared to putting it *on* the mic, since your phone is equipped with magnets around that area that are part of the phones speaker system...you want your watch to be as far away from them as possible but also as close as necessary tp achieve an accurate measure. Would be great if there was a way to do a video about the extent to which a watch can get magnetised by everyday objects like phones, speakers, laptops, boomboxes etc...basically anything that contains magnets and is an object of everyday usage 😊

I eventually noticed that the design was intended to look like a compact cassette, for some reason. (It's immensely satisfying to be this smart.) And now for another pedantic interlude. What we actually have here is a clear blue case and a clear, colorless case, since clear means transparent. It may seem unimportant but it's a well known fact that aliens tend to abduct people who misuse words like clear, presumably on the quite reasonable assumption that they will probably not be missed if something goes badly wrong with the probing. I've mended my ways in this regard out of an abundance of caution and you might want to consider doing likewise unless you really crave adventure.

The displays remind me of carefree 90s copyright violation, making tapes from CDs and vinyl, mostly of jazz (your end music sounds just like Victor Young's "My Foolish Heart", a personal favourite). A lot of Casio modules have a 3 - second light option, and I always look for these when adding to the collection. Hope Farr and Swit let you keep them, Norm; you've done them justice. Cheers! 🍻
