Totally agree with JP about Tiny Tina, finding a fun gun has been… an experience. I enjoy the spells and my abilities as a grave, which is why I’m still playing, but the modifiers seem whack. None of the drawbacks have significant enough rewards to make them worthwhile. I found a rare single barrage spell that has low cool down and does insane single target damage that is better than any spells I’ve seen that are *200* power higher and epic/legendary. Found a shotgun/assault weapon hybrid but the shotgun does the same damage as the assault mode, just at a fourth of the attack speed. A massive balance patch is needed immediately. I do not blame JP at all for quitting.
Idk how it's hard to find a good gun in Wonderlands' early-mid game, when they literally added a random cryo barrel attachment to some guns that turns them into a Sandhawk (the most OP gun in BL2). That and you're GUARANTEED to get one of those as a green tier gun in one of the chests of the very first area in the game. When in doubt, any gun that fires multiple projectiles for less ammo is OP in every Borrderlands game.
My theory on Stranger of Paradise is Squeenix looked at their lineup, realized that they have *NOTHING* to release until later this year because FF16 and Remake 2 are taking all their lead devs, and they just said "fuck it we need a big game for the quarter" and funded another team to make it so they didn't have to worry about it
