Lords of the fallen has a lot of little things that annoy people. As you play the game it begins to add up, I don't even feel like finishing the game. There are alot of reasons why it is mixed on steam right now, most of it is optimization issues. You can cheese most of it with ranged weapons/magic if anyone is struggling.

Base building for Star Citizen was promised as a feature way back in 2017.
What they've announced now is that they are actually going to start implementing it, and significant details on how it will work and tie into the economy, previously it was left very vague.
SC scope hasn't increased significantly in the last 5 years, the massive scope creep (perhaps scope sprint would be a better term?) was early on in the project.
when you friend who is a massive star citizen fan says its a project and not a game you know its not worth the cash they asking for.
@@sirpiggsyAny time you design & build anything it is a project, whether it's a game, business software, a bridge, or my kitchen remodel. If I'd have said "early on in the game" people would confuse that for meaning at the start of game play, and not development. Of all the nitpicks you could have chosen that is quite possibly the reachiest.

Saga isn't interesting at all I would swap with Alan and mainly focus on him then speed run Saga's section.

Well, here's hoping they make Alan Wake 2 playable on computers owned by mortals and not just alien monoliths. I did like Control, it's the only Remedy joint I've played but I did like their way of storytelling.

I know its a "core" part of the game, but I just can't play AW2 with the flashing jump scare things. It's just not fun at all for me.

I liked Spider-Man 2, I platinumed it as well. But as a non-comic book reader/fan and my only dosage of Marvel being the MCU (at least up until No Way Home before the MCU went to shit) - I didn't really care for the story in SM2. I think the first game's story was far and away better. It felt more personal and contained. This one kinda goes all over the place and stuff like Venom having very little explanation (which I'm sure is explained more in the comics) didn't help my investment. I also didn't give two shits about Kraven, I thought he was very weak and lame villain. It's funny when you think about the plot as well. A lot of it centres around "the power of friendship" and working together and healing relationships and healthy ways of talking about issues, all of which can be applied to the plots of other Sony first party games. GoW Ragnarok, Horizon: FW and now SM2 all have a central through-line of friendship and healing and working together. It's kind of predictable now and getting boring imo.
Regarding the woke stuff. I don't at all mind it in games, Last of Us 1 & 2 are some of my favourite games and they are wokier than woke. But being preachy is different and SM2 is very preachy. Though it didn't ruin the game for me but just made me roll my eyes at the writing and be like "that's a bit on the nose."
Finally, and I am sorry but the endgame outfits for Peter and Miles are fucking god-awful. Like they look horrendous. If they're from the comics then I understand, if not then WTF. Peter's suit looks like someone just jizzed all over him and he's still all gooey and shit and Miles looks like he went to a rave in Las Vegas and put some Adidas shoes on top of it.

Can you give me a little more info on what you're struggling to see and how you're viewing the episodes? I'm trying to reproduce it here across various monitors/mobile and the drop shadow on titles and screen darkening on hover make it visible for me, but I'd like to know how it's displaying for you 😊
@@iilu I now have looked on my phone, tablet, and both pcs on all the monitors, I cannot figure out why they struggle to see the titles. And if for whatever reason it's as far up as they are complaining about (despite the timestamps already existing in the description), you'd have implement a black bar that's 1/8th of the screen. Because their issue is more a YT interference issue. There are already other solutions to this person's complaint, save your time for something more important illu 😂
I also love how they feel they are so important, "week 2 of asking for JP and his artist to fix MY ISSUE" 😂😂😂 like bruh the world doesn't revolve around you

i dont think twitch failing to notify people what stream you are watching makes the viewer stupid.. really ignorant take. how about accountability on twitch's side. same thing with game design, its not that people are stupid its that you failed to make a good game with cohesive and coherent ui with meaningful tutorials
"we all were paid to stream it, but it doesnt matter, lets talk about it more than the way better and bigger game that sold insanely well!" smh, boring survival game with lotr ip slapped on, lets talk about it for an hour
I've never bounced off a game as hard as Alan Wake 2. I thought the first game was a decent and generally fun little horror game with an interesting world and characters. But in the first four hours of 2 I'm spending almost the entirety of it just walking around an incredibly wooden and un-interactive world, populated by aliens that look but don't act like humans or that you exist, the acting is mid at best, the dialogue is awful and stilted as hell, the police procedural elements are laughably bad, filled with leaps in logic, completely made up ideas and an very insultingly hand-holdy investigation mechanic (that sometimes just does it by itself because the game isn't interested in letting you do even that little thing) that is in the mind of the main character who despite being an FBI agent acts more like a psychopath that only cares about interesting mysteries than the crimes or proper detective work. Not to mention the Amnesia Rebirth style fear flashes are just as terrible and headache inducing now as they were back then but people just call them awesome because it's in Alan Wake now. Before I get a reply that tells me how it's supposed to be like that because of some plot reason later in the game still doesn't make the start of the game less boring and annoying.
The reviews for Moria is pretty bad. Not even just the IGN. a bunch of reviews from all over are kinda low. PC game is liek 58% opencritic is around 66%. so it's not just IGN. the games just pretty much meh all around.
User scores are around 7/10 though aren’t they? Not bad at all for public scoring.
my only gripe, and even I thinks it's minor because I can turn some of them off if i want to, is all the small stuff that I like to term as Cali-fide in the game.
things like adding made up words to the Spanish language. or going so far to have the Japanese Taiyaki stand people speak Japanese, but instead of Taiyaki they are selling German pretzels.
edit : and for all the "woke" stuff I would just say to get it on PC and wait for a mod so you can play the international version of the game. It takes most of that stuff out.

For me it's like spiderman 2 sold what? 2 or so million in the first day? yet some how there are 40million+ ps5s and yet they can;'t hit at least 10mil in 1 day?
I think a lot of ppl forgot about their ps5 due to the lack of games. I just dug up my ps5 and booted it up after months of not playing it. Last game I played was GoW ragnarok. Only a few really good single player titles every year. I think many people are holding of right now because of the prices. A friend of mine is exicited to play SM2 but paying close to 100$ for the standard edition here in europe is rough. So probably sales will go up for Christmas, future discounts, etc. People will come around to the game after all the game of the year list reminds people of SM 2 also.
This has to be one of the dumbest comment i've read, what game outside gta COD and maybe fifa back in the days sell over 10mil in 24hrs much less for an exclusive, heck there's alot of ppl that don't even rush out to get a game day 1 as well..Also even god of war 2018 o TLOU2 released on ps4 when it had like almost 90mil install base and day one sales for those weren't even spiderman 2 numbers but they ended up selling well anyway

Why does a single player city builder need more than 30 fps? its not a kind of game that priorities fps, like a shooter or an action game needs to focus on.
Because it's nice to move the mouse around at 60 fps and higher. Menus also have animation. Do you limit all your screens to 30hz? You should try it out and see if you like it.
@@JakeRayTM I currently use 60, can barely tell the difference, but it doesn't matter to me because I don't need a city building simulator to be 60 its like the lowest priority for simulation gameplay.
I first really noticed framerate when playing Just Cause 2 because my card would limit to 60 in empty open areas and then 30 in busy scenes.
It's just a nice quality of life feature, as-is hardware performance where you don't need to rely on an eventual DLSS addition to get stable framerate.

Plenty of other people can tell the difference. That's why it matters that even city builders should run at generally acceptable frame rates.
If people didn't prefer it, they wouldn't complain.
I gott disagree vehemently on the writing being good for Alan Wake 2. Its absolutely awful by the end and you'll see just how disappointing it gets.
Saga has to be the most bland thing to ever be bland. She is exactly like a detective written by people who have no idea of how detective work actually occurs nor what procedure means.
Also, i ask everyone who do play, strip away the nonsensical dialogue (most of which is really dumb crap) and actually focus on plot progression and what ties these events together. Saga is inherently the coincidence finder.
