Our Discord - discord.gg/xThWx8Q My tentative theory is that based on the comment sections of our videos, lot's of the people here would benefit from the ability to chat to each other in real-time. I've met people who have had/still have a huge impact on me and who I have developed close and collaborative relationships with online first, that I've also gone on to meet in person. We live in interesting times where that is no longer a strange thing. Hopefully this discord will be somewhere where all of you can do the same - interesting chats, find new and useful connections etc. Also my assumption is that this community will grow organically and become self sustaining if it's going to exist at all. So think of me as an intermittently present creator who often totally forgets about a planet he's made then quickly rushes to make sure they haven't turned on each other. Finally, an ENTP is running the server... god help us. ~ Nathan
The word we know as "problem" incl how they work, manifest, appears etc. Could be an impossibility at play haunting us until we figure out why and how to solve it. So the solution made the impossible thing possible often for the first time ever. Because problems are usually not identical otherwise it wouldn't be a problem/impossible right? So how can we be sure that impossibilities exist just because we haven't invented the solution yet? And also if a unfixable impossibillity does exist no matter if we wait a million years for the discovery of the solutions - How does anyone prove that a impossible unfixable problem is so impossible that a solution cant be created ever? No matter how high our wisdom is over time. Can that be proven and be true at the same time, when the reality is.... We dont know yet? Even if we DO prove it, how do we know ahead of time that we are not missing something we dont know yet that would change that outcome? This a common problem in cases with facts vs believes. What is truely a real fact? vs what is truely a believed fact? (Which is NOT the real factual truth, even if it is religiosly being believed as the real truth). Can you/we really spot the difference? Careful!!! It's a limbo type rabithole deep to dive in.
That is if god is one of his/her days where they got a panic on and rushed back to see that we haven't all turned on each other... Or, that our fine ENTP running the server is not actually away on some interesting tangent and the piskies haven't got in and made a mess of things Lol
Do other INTPs have this burning desire to “do something” that just really impacts the world but has no idea what that is or could be and doesn’t want to be some sort of cog in the system at the whims of others and wants to be truly free and filled with meaning and contentment and to help people and influence people but has no real desire to lead?? Ugh what career is that? 😂
Ofcourse he try. If he imagine some mostly not his own is not easy. A complete information is needed too simulate ones exp using imagination with his own past experience finding connection to simulate some event on how it was happened. And from there the analyzation starts INTP here
Most logical fallacies are attached to psychological defense mechanisms, or, when people feel threatened they get stupid. "Everyone's cool until the blame gets put on them." I'm working on a theory about the Autonomic Nervous System, Stress, and childhood relationship dynamics, and how unresolved emotional issurs here cause irrational behavior. I think everyone is capable of amazing feats of reason, but that reason is hardest to apply to the pain we're trying to avoid/drown.
@@thesurvivorssanctuary6561 Interesting, i just chalked that up to people being people. People being irrational by nature, reason being the anomaly. My premise being that reason is an emergent virtue, it is learned. With the clear distinction that the ability to think does not make one reasonable. If nature is your reason, is that unreasonable? I honestly do not know.
@@condotiero860 The thing is, nature is actually quite logical. I think the majority of unconscious decisions are made through a process called Heuristic Analysis. It's a sort of internal weighing of things, and it's how animals think. The funny thing is, it's remarkably similar to logistic analysis in it's approach and execution. The logical aspect of Heuristic Analysis comes from the manner in which our brains function. It's like an internet search engine scanning all your memories, then it provides a sort of statistical analysis of the pertinance of each result, and finally our brains contrast and compare the data to weigh the most important issues in the decision. The major failing of heuristic analysis is our limited perspective. We tend to gravitate towards successful patterns of the past, and we ignore abberant data. This means that one of the biggest problems with Heuristic Analysis is Confirmation Bias. Still, it's an incredibly logical tool, and this abstract pattern of unconscious thought probably paved the way for our ability to count. In fact, Emotions are astoundingly reasonable as well. Every last one is a complex device that feeds you relationship data on your social environment. Each has a very specific logical pattern it is trying to accomplish. Sadness is explaining that a significant resource was lost, Happiness tells us that our needs are being fulfilled, Anger is a judicial case against whomever wronged us, and Surprise is a software update. Emotions are a fascinating example of how group-think makes people function as a sort of collective brain. Half our existence is located in other people, as our friends and family mirror our ideas, emotional states, and behaviors. Emotions are simply the device that binds us to other people, and interestingly enough, Emotions denote the overall value of memories when they are stored away. This all has deep logical applications, and while it doesn't match the singular precision of science or philosophy, these unconscious processes handle the lion's share of data that our brains process. This is all just our "stupid" animal brains. I haven't even gotten into how identity and ideology function through intrinsic higher reasoning processes. Like, the way we organize the world into stories to make meaning is the premises we base our logical thought off. The highest form of logic is just counting and math, and that is indivisible from linguistic representations. We always have to be counting something after all, and numbers themselves are part of our language. The real cause of irrationality, theoretically, is how we close our minds to new ideas because of the need to protect ourselves. Whether that is protecting our physical selves, our emotional selves, or our ideas of ourselves, irrational behavior is about minimizing harm to the self. See, irrational behavior wouldn't be a problem if it could be changed easily, but it usually cannot. The reason irrational behavior(which stems from irrational beliefs) refuses to change, is because of emotional trauma, or pain, that hasn't been properly processed. Now, that trauma resides in the realm of ideas and memories, and it causes it's possessor to act crazy when the mind's focus is on something closely associated with that idea or memory. We're highly compartmentalized beings, and our memories store emotional data. Once we access our long term memories(which includes our inner library of words and images), we breathe life back into those old emotions, and we are then immediately influenced by those old ghosts. This is my working theory at least, 😋. I'm still updating it all, and refining everything as much as I can. It's important to me to be as accurate as possible, because I find this useful information, 🤔😁👌
INTP life hack learned from being autistic: learn the system of people/emotions by learning a crap ton of psychology to compensate for inferior Fe. Fun fact it will take a couple years of exhausting brain reorganization, but it will be effective. Think of it as the reorganization of internal syntax that comes from learning a new language.
I'm an INTP, and I think this is why I've always wanted to be a teacher. I've always thought that education is the best way to improve the world. Perhaps, that's merely *my* best way of improving the world.
I worked as a teacher at a private high school for four months and quit bc I just could not stand the result system. I don't like making students learn their notes by heart just to get good grades i want them to understand and be able to discuss things outside of the syllabus that is relevant but I just was not allowed that. :(
I agree with this but also agree with the commenter who said that the education system is quite flawed. Tutoring one on one is also a very nice move for INTPs! ~ Nathan
I am an INTP and I am so lazy.... I am not sure about my passion but I kinda attracted to studying physics...... But I believe that I should try every thing to find my passion so I want a way to get rid of my laziness and then I will find my passion...
My problem is that I have so many interests I can't settle one one. So there's not having options and having way too many, and I honestly don't know what's worse.
I think instead of getting rid of your laziness and finding your passion, it's the other way around: when you find your passion, your laziness will go away. You need something in your life that gives you purpose, motivation, joy and fulfillment. You seem not to have that, or an idea of what to do with your life in a career field, so perhaps when you do find that interest your world will open up and you fill finally find yourself engaged by a subject that doesn't bore you. As for how you find that passion, I really can't tell you. But search yourself and try to think of things you enjoy, and pursue those interests with the intent of finding purpose. You mentioned physics, so why not do some reading on the subject or watch science minded videos that go into the physics of the modern world and see if they strike your interest in the field itself?
People can also aquire passion slowly over time. Never thought I'd go for a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, but I always had an interest in psychology.
After spending so many months alone and inside (not that I am completely hating it) I am convinced that UA-cam is almost overflowing with INTPs. There are so many of us here. Even some borderline famous names. This may very well be our domain, our natural habitat (OK, ENTPs too.) I hope to develop the courage to speak my mind here, someday soon. You are very cool, Nathan, keep being who you are.
Thank you for this comment and I agree... lots of INTPs floating around on here. Please feel free to check out our discord server, there are even more INTPs on there! ~ Nathan
So I am an INTP, and my older sister is an INFP. Now to be honest, even though she is older by like 5 years, I am always the one looking down on her. So she actually was the person who told me to take the MBTI test after she had done the same. And I did. And it was fun. But after understanding myself and my sister more I began to look down upon her for being an INFP, because I had this weird belief that INTPs were better. Lets just say, she made some really dumb decisions with her love life and every time something bad happened she would come to me and tell me all about it. Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy to support her when she needs it, but I was starting to get really mad at her. She would come to me almost every other day and every time I would give her advice, she would listen, understand, and then do the exact opposite later. It made me so mad, especially when everyone she knows would be telling her not to do something and then she does it and has to pay the price. The other day she came to me telling me that her and her boy weren't together anymore because of miscommunication or something and I was so mad and so tempted to say 'I told you so.' But I didn't. I just sat there listening with a frown on my face until it was over. Also there was this one time she heard me complaining about her to my parents and I accidentally snapped and started expressing how stupid I thought she was. I realised what I did was wrong and apologised to her, after a long talk though. During that long talk, I told her how seeing her suffering was having an effect on me, and that I was annoyed because I couldn't do anything. She apologised and the I apologised and then the apologies kept going back and forth until we started laughing. But yeah, back to the point, why is there this stupid belief that INFPs are less intelligent. I think my sister is very intelligent, and it's just harder for her to understand her situation when emotions are involved. Well sorry that this was long, have a nice day.
I think you did exactly the right thing. When talking to a Feeler, you have to express how their actions affect your FEELINGS. That's one way to get them to make wiser decisions, because they won't want to do things that hurt you. But you have to express your feelings, which is hard for an INTP to do, so kudos to you for that. It's also a good idea to tell your sister plainly that you think she's intelligent, because Feelers have a tendency to think they aren't, and if they aren't intelligent, why even try to make intelligent choices? Support her, tell her you know she has common sense and can make wise choices, especially now that she has some experience with boys. Also, make her feel that you value her by asking questions / advice about things that she has experience in, such as relationships. The idea is to both make you closer as sisters and to increase her self-esteem and self-confidence, since a lot of times people make stupid choices because they feel insecure.
OMG I'm literally scared lol. I'm also an INTP and my sister, who is 5 years older than me, is an INFP and she does the EXACT same thing. She comes and asks for my advice and then I tell her what I think, but she always end up doing whatever she wants to do. And then, she comes for me crying and I'm like "I told you so" and she gets mad at me like wtf?

People don't like to think? Whaaat? I totally agree with your first point about being willing to challenge one's thoughts and beliefs as an INTP. I actually find that activity quite enjoyable! Also since you mentioned having a UA-cam channel being a good outlet for INTPs, I want to take this opportunity to tell you I think you're really improving at it . . . you seem more and more comfortable in front of the camera and I've noticed you are editing the videos a lot less . . . you're really growing in skill and it's great to watch. Kudos Nathan! 👏
I agree. I am always open to new perspectives and I am curious about so many things. You Tube can really suck me in and when I look at the list of channels I subscribe to, they’re all over the map in terms of content.
I hate thinking :D I always end up thinking that I shoud think on the thought of not thinking and even as it comes to a stop, I end up thinking more of it. It's a paradox :D The only time I stop thinking is when I forget what it was that I was thinking of, so I stare into the distance, till I see the first movement. THIS is when I realize I'm talking out loud :D
I hate it when im spacing out and thinking something and switch to another one and then i cant remember the previous one that ive been thinking. It frustrates me everytime, maybe its because of my brain or lack of sleep i guess. I also hate it when people ask me things i dont have no single clue about and complain to me why i dont remember when i clearly dont know..well i guess i didnt pay any attention because i dont give a damn about it, i just want people to understand that im not the type of person to remember everything even after its only been 5 minutes ever since...*sigh* it saddens me most of the time maybe theres something wrong with how i remember things or my brain
'The ability to say harsh or unpleasant truths' oh Nathan, a man after my own heart. However, that should read as 'lack tact and say the first thing that pops in their mind'

@@Gio-sx7kt meh, i'd agree we're the main target audience but i'd say xNxP in general, since the introverts of this group are the typical weebs who might enjoy the more abstract aspect of this while the extroverts of this group tend to be more open than others to weird stuff in the bedroom so they might enjoy some tentacle hentai and stuff like that. And by the way, it's hentai, nobody calls it anime porn.
I think most introverted types would rather produce by influence than action...especially INs. The difference is how you feel about the necessity of action XDD
Erm, the INTP I know is usually super busy with work & seemingly has barely any emotional availability for anything beyond a few deep conversations a month, and I'm one of their closest friends.. 🙈
Being in the car industry as an INTP I notice I am much better at figuring the problem out than fixing it, I suck at actually working on cars but can think outside of the box for new solutions people seem to miss... So this video adds up nicely
If you like INTP's there is a great tv show i watched over the weekend. It's called Columbo. It's about a detective who is most likely INTP. You know who the killer is right from the start, but you get to follow Columbus INTP genius as he solves murders.
I adore that show, and that format is truly revolutionary to take away the 'whodunnit' aspect of a show like that. Amazing character and amazing show! [asks mother to find old Columbo DVDs]...realises we don't have a DVD player anymore so I'll just find it online ~ Nathan
So THAT'S why I always liked that show, and detective shows in general. I felt like Columbo's questions are exactly what I would ask--if I could muster enough tact. I'm a little more on the Sherlock side of things though tbh.
"nothing is impossible (with the exception of impossibility) has logical consistency but is still a false statement. There are plenty of impossible things to do.
I lately found out im INTP and i have been watching videos and reading about us for the last 2 weeks and i have found out so much about myself. I haven't realized before that im like this, doing research about everything and everyday. I have always seen myself as a "kind of weird" or like a unique person but after watching all these videos and reading about INTP's i feel like im not unique at all or something like that, at first it was kinda of scary, but now im cool with it and its cool how easy it is to learn about yourself now. I have learned so much about myself in the last 2 weeks than i have in the past 2 years lol.
I finally understand why I am bad at expressing my thoughts. By talking to others I can't fully explain what I am thinking. Because of that I want to learn an instrument to do it but...ugh it requires so much effort and self-esteem.
0:21 Whoa, was just discussing *contentment* with my INTP friend a few days ago.. 😮 *"And truth is the only solid foundation to build on"* is not only biblical but is also the exact sentiment I had during the convo.. 🤯 ....because they were talking about how they were fluctuating from highs & lows, due to realising that notions they held dear were deeply flawed.. 🎯 - @Acharich
I have a friend who I would swear is extroverted who occasionally hits that level of introspection and dissatisfaction, and I can't tell if I've utterly mis-typed her in my head or this is what COVID is doing to all of America.
Well when my disappointment is done shaking it's head at the real world, I might be able to direct it's attention towards UA-cam, but I don't think it would find much interest in your channel; your content is already too good 💕
As an INTP I guess I would class myself as more intelligent than ignorant, but it's always a constant battle. There's few subjects I'd truly command the room on or really go all in on if there was a debate, as in most cases I don't have many hills I'd die on argument wise and there's always so much more to learn and so much knowledge that can either completely change or be looked at from a different angle. I guess it's a war against absolutes, to avoid marrying yourself to ideas and instead marrying yourself to what feels truthful and logical, so that even if the ideas change or warp slightly, the original merits behind them (what's true, what can be proven) is still prioritized when they have to be reconsidered. I guess it's another kind of intelligence to avoid identifying yourself as smart, and simply underscoring that for all you know (and there's so much we can know given our span of interests and how obsessively we dive into things we love), there's so much that's still a mystery. Which is why, for whatever knowledge I carry about a subject, the second I realize someone knows something I don't I feel deflated and upset that I didn't know it already. Life is like a vast library, too much to experience and not a hundredth of the time needed to feel it all.
@@lovewho Oh man, after reading that back I actually meant to say something along the lines of ignorant, or uneducated. Didn't intend to make any kind of distinction between intelligence and smart. Though I guess there is something there to pick apart, semantics wise.
I keep getting these 'introverted persons' videos to try to figure me out. What is this all about? Are you THAT interested in categorizing all of us, and for what reason? Not a GENIUS!!!
Speaking of inconsistencies, I counted at least 110 video cuts while you were talking on screen. While the brevity delivers a packet punch, it might be more palatable to hear a stream of consciousness discourse instead of having pauses and meanderings edited out. The cadence is strange, as if hearing a wall of text, since there is no room to breathe. Just a thought, or brainfart if you will, of which there are many and not to be taken too seriously.
@@lovewho I would rather see the candid interplay between your inner idealized expression and the verbal configuration that emerges in the moment. I think you might find that the two converge rather quickly and your perhaps misconstrued meanderings actually illuminate peculiar nuances that are important to formally conceptualizing the whole picture. As in a chess game, one might see all the right moves to play, but you need to know what to do in all the oddball situations to truly be a master of the position. If unfortunate divagation takes you down the path of a faux-pas, that faux-pas is the illumination of that divagation and a return to the original definition. But, I guess I see now that a video of this sort would be a magnitude of order longer and nary an ENTP (or perhaps any other type) would endure the meandering ramble.
I have a tendency to scroll downward so I can't see the screen because the cuts bother me, visually. It's a good thing I'm not epileptic because I could see the constant flickering as being a problem to them.
@@lovewho Love Who 1 year ago "Being able to say a single sentence without messing it up is a skill I am yet to gainThis is sooo INTP"....are you an INTP???
Ive noticed this too. I read/heard somewhere that when your still developing your functions, you tend to date people whose dominant strengths are your inferior (opposites attract type thing). But as you begin to develop fully all your cognitive functions, become more accepting of yourself, you find these people less attractive to you. Also in saying that, as an introvert, i mostly if not always attract extroverted men and they try and suck me up into their world with a kind of aggressiveness and charisma to win me over. But my most successful long term relationship was with another Introvert. We need alot of space/alone time to think and less social activities that only other introverts understand. Ps. When i say this, im thinking Esfjs/Enfjs dominant Fe make up for an Intps inferior Fe. And Esfps/Estps are making up for and Intps Polr Se.

We read people automatically and I don’t think it comes from a need to emphasize with the other person... We read people and figure their thoughts and emotions in order to understand their personality and thought flows for future reference... This is also why we are ‘bullshit detectors’...we just pretend we didn’t realize we are being lied to but we probably even understand why the person is telling the lie🤣erm and it amuses me sometimes...it doesn’t get me mad😱🤣 🤣why am I like this🤣🤣🤣

I worried that my INTP son had a serious disability when he was a baby, he didn’t speak until he knew the words, he didn’t emote much, didn’t cry when he needed things. When he started talking he could say most of the words already, as though he had practiced in secret. He doesn’t talk much, he could be sitting there observing everyone and drifting off into his thoughts, but right when you’ve forgotten he’s there he interjects something really profound or witty… or downright hilarious. As a toddler he collected flies and put them in his pockets. They kept flying out so he carefully removed their wings and put them in his pocket, when questioned about hurting the flies he’d respond “they aren’t flies anymore, they’re “walks” now. When the “walks” were walking out of his pockets he’d remove their legs and call them “rolls”… because if they wanted to move they’d have to roll places I guess. A typical example of a normal conversation with him would go like this…. me, fascinated by something new: well! you learn something new every day” him: “what did you learn yesterday?” Me: “ummm…” him: “see you don’t learn something new every day.” Always matter-of-factly stated in somewhat of a monotone. Love it! INTP are fascinating!

He loves animals, and is very gentle and caring toward them, he especially loves dogs, cats and goats. So we have 2 dogs and 2 cats, one goat and about to get him a miniature goat too. He doesn’t show any signs of sadism towards others, and he’s maintained 3 solid friendships throughout his childhood, and never demonstrated aggression toward them. So I’ve come to accept that his oddities are personality quirks rather than pathological.
I hold court on my couch with friends sometimes three days a week. I like thinking that I am making others think and see things through a different lense or a different angle, if you will...... Personal pet peeves (more like major irritants) or what I would consider major character flaws in a person are as follows: 1) cognitive dissonance 2) confirmation biases 3) hypocrisy 4) uttering logical fallacies 5) lack of proper punctuation 6) the Dunning Kreuger effect in practice 7) people who pee on the toilet seat 8) camping in the passing lane on the interstate I'm forgetting WTF my point was, but I can assure you that it was well thought out far in advance 😎 and it's all connected somehow. I'll map it out later.
As an INTP I like to say that, like.... If someone did a specific thing before you can also do it now, and this for me means "nothing is impossible" cause like... Nothing is imposdible as long as others can do it
Well, I'm not sure I'd consider "impossibility" a thing, only a concept. But if you take that sentence literally, it's obviously not true, eg. in "our 3D physical world" I won't wake up tomorrow being a tea pot in a singing yacht in the sun, giving birth to 3 dinosaurs.
Barbara Iller LOL! The teapot felt full, very uncomfortably full. Was she full due to gestating 3 mini-saurs (who gnawed on her womb when bored) or full because she was over-flowing with hot, uncomfortably hot, water? Never mind that dinosaurs hatch from eggs....We’re in the land of singing yachts, flying whales, and barking cats who preferentially navigate by hot-air balloon. A land of a thousand impossibilities per second, a realm where the impossible can always be possible with the snap of a magic finger. Pregnant or filled with water? The singing yacht is composing a ditty that includes the answer. Listen closely to the saga song....of the teapot’s struggles on the spoon-stirred sea.
Also, one opportunity that stood out to me was industrial psychology. As an intp, our objectivity allows us to see weak points in efficiency where improvements can be made. It often felt like “common sense” when I was learning about it because I was able to understand and reference examples of the principles easily.
Has an INTP, I find one of my greatest gifts is the ability to look at unpleasant truths in life and then find a plan to address them. I’m more like a magician pulling a rabbit out of thin air which is a skill that has come in very handy, but along with that is that the dirty work tends to fall on me most of the time because I don’t allow emotions to cloud my decisions.
Thank you for this video, very accurate and strangely sometimes we need to be reminded who we are and why. This has given me a lot of insight for what to do next in life. And I like the joke (?) at the end lol
How sad is it we said "... except impossibility" (well, I think I said "the impossible") at the same time. Hey, even ENFJ can be logical. Maybe I'll be more inspiring once I've had coffee.

According to my knowledge, if everything is a negation of nothing then the whole strategy of proving the given statement is wrong(incomplete i say). Nothing means nothing but everything *includes nothing as well*, that's why it is called everything. This causes a loop of what everything and nothing is really defined as. If I applied the same logic of impossibility!=possible, then infinity+infinity should be 2 infinity no? On the perception of impossibility, literally nothing is impossible *to happen/occur*. Just the sequentially ordering of chaos might create 'the impossible'. What I feel should be the correct statement: Nothing is impossible to happen/occur.
1:50 No it's wrong. That just means that impossibility does not exist. If everything is impossible then, yes the concept of impossibility is possible, because it's just the concept. Making something "impossible" possible means that it WAS impossible it BECAME possible which means it wasn't really impossible. "impossible" is not a thing wich belongs to "everything" because it is not a "thing" at all. It's like saying "if everything exists then nothing exists" These are just status not things.
"Nothing is impossible" should be "nothing should be assumed to be impossible without testing." However, if after rigorous testing, it makes sense to conclude that it's impossible, then you're an idiot if you don't make that conclusion. I mean, my mind is open -- probably too open for too long, right up to the point where I reach a conclusion. After that, my mind's happy to close unless it's presented with new data that's worth opening it again. And really, it takes me so long to reach a conclusion because I'm so concerned that there is relevant data out there that I need, that when my mind DOES finally close, you can bet your retirement that I'm right. I'd never have managed to publicly reach any conclusion unless it were utterly bulletproof. I always thought I was an ENTP for a long time who had morphed into an INTJ about 15 years ago. Your videos are demonstrating to me that I've actually either further morphed into an INTP or was one all along without realizing it. And it gives me some sympathy for people who have dealt with me for the last few decades, because dealing with an INTP at close range can be super-irritating, even for me. We can be enormous pains in the ass.
I would like to put a positive benefit in the world ... I like archaeology and history, ecology, marine biology, researching and discovering something new
But wasn't a concept of impossibility implied with the uttering of the statement "nothing is impossible"? How can you speak of something having the property of impossibility (being impossible in some sense) if there were no concepts of impossibility in the first place? So the implied statement "impossibility (as a concept) is possible" is trivial, an assumption implicitly made before the our first statement, hence no logical inconsistencies here. We could represent the statement as " the set S is empty" (i.e. S={}), where S is the set of all 'impossible' objects (the existence of of S reflects the assumption of a particular concept of impossibility, namely our colloquial sense of the word) and 'empty' simply means S has no elements. Then the complement of S would be the set of all possible objects, which must include a concept of impossibility, in fact, all possible conceptions of 'impossibility' including the one we'd assumed to exist (which is why it's trivial to point it out as he did in the video); but you see this doesn't contradict our initial statement of S={}, where S was conditioned under our particular, assumed concept of 'impossibility'.
Do you think Data analyst or Data scientist could be a good career fit for an INTP, I have recently discovered that profession, and currently finishing the course. So far, this major has incorporated all the things I potentially enjoy. Finding business insights and solutions, without the need of making final decision or trying to apply them in real world 🤔
This is so true. ❤️ INTP I don’t OFTEN leave my house because all my shit is there, and I genuinely do NOT like or trust most people. Our Discord - discord.gg/xThWx8Q
My tentative theory is that based on the comment sections of our videos, lot's of the people here would benefit from the ability to chat to each other in real-time.
Once the ENTP has inevitably gotten bored and moved on, get an ISFJ to take over.
That is if god is one of his/her days where they got a panic on and rushed back to see that we haven't all turned on each other... Or, that our fine ENTP running the server is not actually away on some interesting tangent and the piskies haven't got in and made a mess of things Lol

because they dont care logic.
Most logical fallacies are attached to psychological defense mechanisms, or, when people feel threatened they get stupid.
"Everyone's cool until the blame gets put on them."
I'm working on a theory about the Autonomic Nervous System, Stress, and childhood relationship dynamics, and how unresolved emotional issurs here cause irrational behavior.

@AhmedYaser Hafez if you find the solution to your problem... please share; same issue here.

Very interesting comment. I like the distinction between 'intelligent' and 'smart' ~ Nathan
@@lovewho Oh man, after reading that back I actually meant to say something along the lines of ignorant, or uneducated. Didn't intend to make any kind of distinction between intelligence and smart. Though I guess there is something there to pick apart, semantics wise.

Being able to say a single sentence without messing it up is a skill I am yet to gain but I'm working on it! ~ Nathan

"Being able to say a single sentence without messing it up is a skill I am yet to gainThis is sooo INTP"....are you an INTP???
If intp is a genius, why do many INTPs I know, my husband included, marry to XSFPs and got frustrated. Should’t they have thought it through?

This is also why we are ‘bullshit detectors’...we just pretend we didn’t realize we are being lied to but we probably even understand why the person is telling the lie🤣erm and it amuses me sometimes...it doesn’t get me mad😱🤣

You might want to keep an eye on that behaviour with insects and see if he moves onto bigger insects or animals.
@@vitalis I know what you’re inferring with that, and it has crossed my mind a lot believe me. He definitely shows the common markers of it. Only he definitely has emotional empathy, and a lot of it. He will be visibly emotionally distressed when his siblings or myself are experiencing something upsetting.

It's like saying "if everything exists then nothing exists"
These are just status not things.

I rather burn.
If I were to become an INTP
My brain would increase my height by an Inch.
That's BS and a joke.
I'm lazy but that's okay
