For just a second I was like, "You mean other people don't?" and was genuinely surprised. Then I thought about how some of the people I know would see it and I was like, "Oh." Kinda knocks you down a peg, doesn't it? When I learn something new or have come to a satisfying end to a train of though/decision, I honestly feel like I accomplished something. Sad that a lot of other people don't see it that way.

Here is more dodgy advice for INTP's. Play more dungeons and dragons and make sure you are the Dungeon master. You will have to make quick decisions. You'll have to talk in front of a group of people and organize like hell. At the same time, you will love creating a world full of characters and stories as you logically piece the laws of the world together.
INTP's love their comfort zones but life will constantly push you to get out of it. This is always uncomfortable. Try to think about how you can use this uncomfortable situation and turn it into knowledge. Find a way to apply it to your hobby. Take control over the task instead of the other way around.

Taking action is hard for INTP. So true... You realized it after a huge amount of unfinished projects or just actions. I don’t want to continue, because everyone knows it very well here.
I just wanted to mention one interesting thing that occurred with me in one of the darkest period of my life. I lost my job and I didn’t know what to do with my life in general, I was broken. When everything reached its boiling point, something had changed in my mind. Everything became very clear and I reached very different state of my mind, I named it “voice of common sense”. It was like an adviser. This state guided me to healthy actions. It was very smart and reasonable and I didn’t have any contradiction or doubts as any INTP has. It was some sort of an advanced version of my mind.
Have you experienced something like this? How to explain this? How to manage it consciously?
    Yeah, typical INTP’s questions.😂

I never noticed how focused I was on perfectionism until this year while I was making a charcoal drawing for art
I was drawing a picture of my cat and the rough draft looked great- it was probably the best I had ever drawn anything realistically. Of course after the draft, I was supposed to start on the actual project and I started sketching out the cat on my project paper but it just didn't look right. So I kept erasing and redrawing and getting new pieces of paper until my teacher stepped in and said that it didn't have to be perfect.
I did, in fact, start crying out of frustration at that point, which just made me feel worse.
Anywayyy, long story short, I got to trace that initial draft onto the actual project paper and the drawing is hanging up in the living room.

Being self critical and trying to remove human aspects are major issues for me. Regarding your example, whether I get too heated in an argument or even if I remain calm and objective in an argument (which is preferable) I look back and over analyze things to the point where I make myself uncomfortable no matter what. Very seldom am I up to my standards, and when I actually am, it’s hard for me to get off my high horse. Then I conclude that it’s best to just eliminate interactions all together. And sensory aspects of being human are the most uncomfortable for me. Because of this, I don’t always take the best care of myself physically (forget the eat, brush my hair, do my nails, etc.) because I often see it as irrelevant, forget about it, or it’s an obstacle to my never-ending train of thought. I also don’t like being in a human body so that’s an issue. (😂)

The issue comes when they don’t appreciate what they have and what they’ve achieved (which may seem brilliant for all the world and mediocre for them).
Even if anything in their lives meets their standards, they are never happy and satisfied.

Well, this is my opinion, as an INTP (and INTJ) (I often switch between these 2 , this year the former that year the latter etc...), calling for like and subscribe never works for me, because obviously we always analyse things and in this case I'll see whether your channel will benefit me in certain aspects or not to be worth it for my subscription. And so these are the things that made me subscribe to your channel :
    1. You know what you're talking about and explain them in a way or order that I think it is easy to follow and fully explained.
    2. There are many topics in your channel about INTP/ INTJ that I care about.
    3. You help me in expressing myself out with words.
    4. The possibility that you're going to produce more useful videos in the future.

I am 15 and am a INTP [according to the personality test]. I have this strong intuition whereby i had these two friends. when i noticed how inconsistent they had become and how drawn to lying to their parents and misbehaviour they had become, i left them. Just by no t talking to them and not going to their houses, even though we live on the same street. I hate it when people are dishonest and not up front about what they want to say. They beat around the bush. I also hate it when people come to me and i give them advice and they clearly don't follow it. I love it when the consequences come to bite them in the butt. I am the only one of my siblings who can argue and question my parents' authority successfully, that makes them think i am the favourite.

I've been forced onto the dancefloor on a mexican wedding by peer pressure, drunk. Embracing the situation knowing full well the unavoidable damage it would cause was the best option. As an INTP I believe in situatiouns of these kinds you have to accept your weakness, and focus on damage mitigation. If you get yourself into a situation where people around you don't see you as an INTP kind of Person it is usually better to be seen as awkward than weird.

When I was a kid and a teen you could say I lived inside my mind. My mind was my favourite place in the world. Then I went through a short period of depression during my early twenties, and now I'm okay, but after that I don't feel as comfortable in my mind. Because when I started thinking, I remembered episodes of my depression and I got sad and angry every single time. It doesn't happen to me now, I can think for hours without getting sad, but I got used to trying to shut my thoughts doing mundane stuff like listening to music or doing jigsaws. I also walk a lot. The thing is I never get lost in my thoughts as I used to, but I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing.
Also three months ago I ended a relationship that lasted 8 years (basically all my adult life). I broke up with my ex because I felt I don't love him anymore, but now I realise how lonely I really am, because he was the only person I could trust with my thoughts and the only one who really knew me. Since we broke up I feel I'm alone with my thoughts again, and I'm scared to the point I consider getting back together with him.
And now I'm so lonely I use old youtube videos as my personal diary 😅
