      @@asztalilampa3948 but the high notes were much better than 2011 period. In this video, on the under a glass moon james was able to hold the control at e5 on the chorus but on 2011 version he’s just screaming at that high notes

      +Diegosaurio I don't blame you! I like the suspense of knowing whether James will hit the F# in these more recent shows. The last time DT played this was Greece 2011, and he hit the note there- about 6:40 of this video: ua-cam.com/video/jImQVpcj9tw/v-deo.html
      I wonder if he can still hit it today.

      True that ! Saw it in Paris !
      Though the high notes of I&W have become too high for him. But I&W was 25 years ago, one can largely understand why he can't hit these notes anymore. Plus he went through a really bad time with his food intoxication in Cuba ...
      I was just watching the live in Tokyo and James was incredible, he still is !

      Jordan is so advanced and lightyears ahead of Moore that his improv sounds like jumbled, random stuff to the untrained ear. But there's a considerable classical influence as well as jazz in his playing.

      @lazeebee86 7 років тому +9

      Rudess has forgotten more about music than you will ever learn about music in several lifetimes. He was gonna be a classical pianist and turned it down in the name of prog. His musical acumen is on another level compared to ANY member of DT past or present.
      But because it sounds like shit to you - a moron who knows nothing - it automatically means his music as a whole is shit.

    • @lazeebee86
      @lazeebee86 7 років тому +14

      Well you know nothing about me but are smart enough to judge that I am a moron and can spend several lifetimes and still not catch up with jordan, I am sure you assessment of Jordan is right on. Thank you for trying to enlighten me, but I guess i am beyond the point of salvation. So i will keep my opinion and think his renditions of old songs are shit and be happy with it. I admire people like you who are way up there though. You have a good night.
