I was a child of the 80s and every single Molly Ringwald movie I truly love, but, PRETTY IN PINK was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! So I thank you so much for making this video of the filming locations of this movie!! 😊🩷
Great as usual!! Have you considered doing Locations for "Bad Influence" with James Spader and Rob Lowe, the late 80s LA Based Thriller?! I used to work in the building used for the exteriors of James Spader's Office Building where he worked in the movie and they shot at a lot of very cool locations.. Here's another favorite for you too.. "Less Than Zero" with Andrew McCarthy, Jamie Gertz and Robert Downey Jr.. Another LA Based Epic Movie!!
Talk about Long Lost!! I had never seen that movie until a couple years ago, but I had to almost resort to doing everything just short of Voodoo to find it!! Not the best movie in the world but it was an interesting very hard to find Classic!
@@ENDTIMEsVideoLibrary I had to get it on DVD because it's seriously hard to find. Usually it's the obscure slashers that are. That was my movie when I was a kid. So damn 80's. The cast was great. Even had Lee Ving from the band FEAR as a friend of Chris Penn (cable guy). John Hughs movies kind of overshadowed everything then but for a good reason lol.
Awesome Video ! My birthday is March 20th....Happy Birthday to your wife ! My answer is , she should be with Blain , he has a name that sounds like it is a major appliance....lol😂😂
I'm a lifelong John Hughes fan but had never seen "Pretty In Pink". I saw your original video and figured I'd watch it. It truly is one of Hughes's best films. It seems after the goofy humor of "Sixteen Candles" and "Weird Science", he wanted to focus on drama, with great results! I know this is will be an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Ducky was right for Andy.
If you notice Andrew McCarthy's hair when he walked into the prom dance it's actually a wig he was called back to reshoot the scene cuz he was filming another movie at the time
I downloaded this title song and made it my ringtone. Now when someone calls me, I have to listen to it for a few extra seconds before I answer. Great tune.
Just watched the Valley Girl locations and now this, great channel, so well done!! Thank you for all the work you do :) OMG I thought the same thing about the pink dress... #imdead
Thanks Kurt!! I love love this movie so much. I own it. Time to watch it again it's been a while 😉👍💜 I always wondered if they filmed in Andi and her fathers actual house. It sure seems like they did. It definitely doesn't look like a set.. Molly Ringwald herself supposedly said she did NOT like that dress! LOL 😂 I like the ending the way it is because I can't imagine otherwise.
I really enjoy watching these videos. They bring back memories and really like that you show the address to some of these places. Pretty rad! Have you done a video on gleaming the cube and RAD?
The Biltmore Hotel is where I had my prom in 1981. Also I like the ending of the movie with Andrew. That’s the guy she really liked in the movie so I’m happy they did it that way.
I did see the original video but for some reason i thought it was filmed in the East, it's a Cali film, great work Kurt!! btw no u are not the only one, she turn that dress ugly
Thats also the school, where Elizabeth Short sat and took her picture right by those steps, and she also stood at the front door and they took her picture there too.
Im a new subscriber Tommy click I love your channel and im a huge fan of the 80s i love 80s movies toys tv shows it brings me back will you please react to pryde of the x-men whole tape plz thats my request
I love this video! I am such a fan of your channel and this movie! I agree I wish she didn’t cut up the dress to begin with BUT I understand her wanting to make it her own. Iona is my life goal. If you want a sad drinking game-do shots everytime Duckie is dissed. You will be unfortunately sloshed! I think she should have ended up with Duckie. Blaine did her wrong. Duckie loved her rich or not! This movie made me want to be creative and make my own prom dress and I ended up going to prom because of this movie!
The ending reshoot was actually shot several months later on a soundstage made up to look like the hotel -- And Andrew McCarthy wears a wig because by then he had cut his hair for a stage play he was doing at the time
13:08 You're not the only one that thinks that lol however in the 80s I felt like she was a really talented "fashion designer" lol . I used to get my sketch book out and copy her designs lol . Then after the movie would end (everytime I watched it) I would bust out with my "Fashion Plates" design game lol and make a new portfolio.....
The movie ending is perfect, with her ending up with Blaine. He showed up alone at the prom and they gave him some great lines to tie it all together so he could redeem himself. Duckie was more like a brother and it just would have seemed weird for Andie to end up with him.
Andy and Duckie. He really loved her and dedicated himself to her and the fact that they didn't have much never crossed their mind.
I was a child of the 80s and every single Molly Ringwald movie I truly love, but, PRETTY IN PINK was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! So I thank you so much for making this video of the filming locations of this movie!! 😊🩷
I ❤ Pretty in Pink! Thanks for the awesome videos👏🏽
I like the ending as it is because it show ducky growing up in how he told her that Blaine showed up.
I appreciate the work you put into your videos. Its cool to see all the locations today. I like the way the movie ended.
I like the ending the way it is. Plus Duckie got Kristy Swanson!
Hopefully he didn't get a stake through his heart
@@SergioArellano-yd7ik Duckie’s attire and hair style did give off vampire vibes.
Brilliant video Kurt really enjoyed as I always do it's always a joy to see all your videos 👍😀
I grew up in the 1980,s. Class of 1983. Your videos are awesome.
It seems that outside of my kids, my life pretty much ended in eighty nine. These movies shaped me. Thank you.
Yup, once all the "firsts are over " it just screams by...till your body hurts. 🍺
Gosh I love your videos. I love stuff like this
Another great locations video .... makes me wanna live in LA!! Thanks Kurt!

2 great movies! James Spader as Rip the drug dealer was great
Yes, a Less Than Zero location video would be awesome!
Less than Zero...YES!!!!!
I used to live down the street from Rip’s house lol
And play the banging Bangles cover of. Hazy shade of winter
Yay! Love, love, love this movie 💕💕💕Thank you Kurt!
Real Cool Video Kurt. Thanks for sharing 👋🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Another totally awesome filming locations video! You always do a good job!
Great stuff man! You ever think about doing a long lost 80's film "The Wild Life"? That would be awesome!
Talk about Long Lost!! I had never seen that movie until a couple years ago, but I had to almost resort to doing everything just short of Voodoo to find it!! Not the best movie in the world but it was an interesting very hard to find Classic!
Its casual

He did a video on it already
Wow……amazing that so much is left unchanged. Thanks for the hard work put in🇮🇪
Your location videos are the best! Love how you retell the plot and crack jokes! Love the enthusiasm! Thanks!
YAY!! First to comment!!! Gonna share!! Thank you!
Great job. Another absolute monster of an 80's movie!
One of the best movies of all time!!!
Despite my appearance at this function..I remain now..and will always be..a Duckman🥰 One of my favorites! I would have chosen Duckie!❤
That was an awesome look back the the Pretty in Pink filming locations. Thank you!!!!
Awesome Video ! My birthday is March 20th....Happy Birthday to your wife ! My answer is , she should be with Blain , he has a name that sounds like it is a major appliance....lol😂😂
March is my wedding anniversary month. Pretty In Pink is still one of my top ten favorites 😉
Love all your 80's! Awesome channel!
I watched this 5 times to help the cause.
This was awesome!!! As always, great job Kurt and thanks for posting this!
If you like early 80s movies look up filming locations for happy birthday to me
Fantastic this, more scenes added and I absolutely love this film. Well done Kurt you keep getting better and better each time

Your 💯 right IMO ducky wasn’t right for Andy. Ducky was better suited for a long term relationship with someone more like Iona.
If you notice Andrew McCarthy's hair when he walked into the prom dance it's actually a wig he was called back to reshoot the scene cuz he was filming another movie at the time
I really like that Robert Smith poster lol. Thank you for yet another great video!
Really dug your location video on the repo man Blu Ray.
Congratulations and much love to John Waters for the Walk of Fame star.... Hey you did a great job on this video keep up the great work
Another great movie locations video. You do a great job my friend 🙂
Totally awesome Kurt! One of your best! ⭐👻
Another great upload Kurt👍👍
I downloaded this title song and made it my ringtone. Now when someone calls me, I have to listen to it for a few extra seconds before I answer.

Just watched the Valley Girl locations and now this, great channel, so well done!! Thank you for all the work you do :)
OMG I thought the same thing about the pink dress... #imdead
Same on the dress for me. I'm like why?
Great video as usual and I love the thumbnail!

Dude you are so so amazing. Thank you for the video. Loved it . ❤
Absolutely awesome 😊
I really enjoy watching these videos. They bring back memories and really like that you show the address to some of these places. Pretty rad! Have you done a video on gleaming the cube and RAD?
Great work!! I Love this film!!!!❤❤❤
I love how you put your face on Blaine in the thumbnail!
Every Which Way but Loose would be a fantastic filming location video.
Una de mis pelis preferidas, que suerte de poder estar ahí! Muy buen video!
You are a beast, man!
Thanks a bunch from Brazil.
JUst watched the redux version...wonderful.
Loved this film ❤

Pretty pink Love my favorite one fan Big Movie DVD 💖💖💖💖💖⭐️⭐️⭐️🎶
that cool 80s song at the party "round and round, again!" 60K on the way!
The Biltmore Hotel is where I had my prom in 1981. Also I like the ending of the movie with Andrew. That’s the guy she really liked in the movie so I’m happy they did it that way.
Pretty cool. Didn't see the original but I'm sure I didn't miss much.
Great movie. March bday here to this past Sunday the 26th
Blue Thunder, one of my favorites would be cool for filming locations?
Thanks for what you do Kurt 😎 btw who was a bigger knucklehead Hardy Jens or Steff? Lol
I live blocks away from JB and June Street. Thanks for all your research.
I love how Jon Cryer resurrected Duckie in Two and a half men.
For the movie in Arizona, Jack's Corner look up Scott Elder. Location for Jack's Corner.
It’s my wife’s 🎉birthday in March thanks for video excellent work
Good work
I worked for a tattoo shop a few years back and the tattooed biker owner of the shop loved this movie. Lol. Who would have thought ?😆
Thumbs up before I even watch it.
Angel Town would be a cool movie to see you explore
I would have been happy with Andie being with either Duckie or Blaine. They are both good guys and great actors.
Back in the late 90's I was at a Minit Mart here in southern Kentucky, trying to pay for my gas, and Annie Potts was in front of me buying a cola. ;-)
that checkerboard car was really cool i just noticed
Awesome vid! Sucks you had to re-edit :(
great memories. than you!
I want to say though, Jame Spader is absolutely amazing also. Love his acting and would not have minded seeing him with Andie.
Good movie
Special Edition!
One of the few John Hughes films not filmed in suburban Chicago.
Yep! That's why I haven't done um all yet 🙂
Just so you know, there is no shermer Illinois. If you saw Jay and silent Bob strike back you found that out
lol I remember the muppet babies scene too lol
I love this! Could you please do “ American Gigolo? “
I did see the original video but for some reason i thought it was filmed in the East, it's a Cali film, great work Kurt!! btw no u are not the only one, she turn that dress ugly
Yeah, I always thought It was filmed somewhere else too. The Dress was horrible. haha
Thats also the school, where Elizabeth Short sat and took her picture right by those steps, and she also stood at the front door and they took her picture there too.
Like and comment to support the algorithm of the channel and the 80’s❤

Is Steph, Robert California??
Yes!
My wife’s all time favorite movie
Duckie is STILL my favorite 😊
UA-cam is trash. Sorry about this Kurt. Liked again and watched fully.

Ur the man
👍!
Would love to see scenes from Less Than Zero with Robert Downey Jr & James Spader. Thanks!!
Oh yeah! Love that movie.
I always think how could have Duckie grew up to be Alan Harper, lol.
The ending reshoot was actually shot several months later on a soundstage made up to look like the hotel -- And Andrew McCarthy wears a wig because by then he had cut his hair for a stage play he was doing at the time

My best Channel!
Great vid! The Duckman should of got the girl in the end!
I hope you can do the filming locations of the movies GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN and LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON..
The movie ending is perfect, with her ending up with Blaine. He showed up alone at the prom and they gave him some great lines to tie it all together so he could redeem himself. Duckie was more like a brother and it just would have seemed weird for Andie to end up with him.
I like that Duckie ended up with Kristy Swanson over Molly. When I was kid I felt she was much prettier.
2:28 I had that silver Honda Elite 150
