It makes SENSE, but it's way too punishing for the mechanic. You shouldn't be punished for performing one of your default abilities. The 'Soldier being punished for rocket jumping' example was great, and there are more examples like this too. Imagine if there was an disguise kit or invisibility watch for Spy (equal tools to Scout's speed/double jump, as they allow the classes to do the same things (flank and avoid harm)) but having this tool equipped, whatever its bonuses may be, made it so getting shot once forced you to uncloak and removed like 70% of your cloak meter. I feel as though it should instead lower your jump height so that there is less vertical mobility overall. (But not get rid of the double jump entirely as that would be also TOO harsh) So that you aren't punished for using the double jump, but it makes your jumping ability worse overall. Sacrificing that vertical mobility for horizontal. It would allow you to keep the usefulness OF a double jump's movement ability without as much of the vertical scaling The damage:speed ratio is also just a tad bit too harsh Like it shouldn't require a LOT of damage to reduce your bar to 0, but it shouldn't be to the point that incredibly minimal damage can just wipe your bar away, there should be a middleground to this.
@@THTB_lolyeah? Just cause theres a sidegrade that lets you get around it doesnt make it a worthless negative stat. You have to use the winger to make up for lost height and thst involves switcying weapons and keeping onw weapon fixed.
I love usin the BFB with crit-a-cola, gains boost almost instantly even if you just chip someone from across the map, and I can usually avoid being hit up until crit-a-cola regenerates BFB is definitely a map specific weapon though
nah i love this with winger, double jump to get into position build boost then hold off on, when you need it it'sgood to have, i think it should be two jumps tho, rather then airjumps, so you can get a free jump if you fall off stuff
I agree that the loss of boost on hit is way too harsh, but despite everything it's one of my favourite weapons. Nobody esxpects the fastest class in the game to becom a mach-5 fighter jet. Its a fun weapon to use... if ur opponents can't aim
Some of the footage used is a bit crunchy. Obs has been giving me alot of problems.
the boost lost on double jump actually makes sense, you're trading vertical mobility for horizontal mobility

@@Imm_o the winger exists

The baby face is such a great complimnent to bleed scout. makes you that more annoying when you can passively build boost with bleed

As someone who religiously uses the bfb i am exited for this video
The exit is that way sir
@@gibberishdump1610this reminds me of that scene from megamind where megamind disguised as bernard said that exit was an abbreviation for exciting
The BFB is as if soldier had a primary that gave him jump height that could be lost by rocket jumping
This gun is also very useful in VSH Mode
still my favorite scattergun tho

Same here
insane idea: replace the "loose boost on hit/double jump" with "Disables double jumping"

best way to play the BFB is bleed scout any other loadout whit BFB is feals like a downgarde
Bfb is the 2nd worst scattergun but it's really fun
amaizing vid👍👍
