Thank this youtuber for that. You dont publically release exploits without giving the devs time to fix it first. Simply telling them it exists is not enough time.

@@Lithdren This exactly, you should at the very least try to privately get into contact with someone first, releasing a public video like this should only be a last resort tactic when you've exhausted all other options, all making a video does is shine a light on an yet to be patched exploit and puts pressure on the developers to rush out a fix that could very well cause other issues later down the line because, well, it was a rush job.

You can edit viewmodels anyways, using something like Horsie's viewmodel editor. Works everywhere.
I see everybody is mad at you for making this video but I do agree that making it into a public video being the best course of action. Forcing valves hand and making sure it gets fixed faster

And Valve probably won't do a thing today except when there's high amount of pressure so LED & Nubing's reputation are doomed for not pressuring Valve enough to fix it if not releasing this video or LED & Nubing's reputation are doomed for making Casual have legalized cheats by releasing the video.

I actually wish tf_viewmodels_offset_override wasn't considered a cheat by the game because there is literally a very similar command that isn't considered a cheat in counter strike specifically CS2.

This isn't some remote code exploit or server crash method. It just lets players do dumb things with their client.
They do. Exploiters don't care. Delfy famously icced his audience on Sigsegv for getting bugs fixed, telling him to commit suicide for spoiling the fun. No one posts these videos to get the bugs fixed.
It is stated that they reported these exploits well over a year ago to VALVe through email, to no avail.

host_framerate 1 is a funny command because it makes you spin super fast when doing a taunt where you can move and everyone can see it
so glad you're showing a tutorial for a game breaking exploit for financial gain as opposed to letting it get fixed first, only causing more people to know about it and cause massive game disruption that won't actually fix the problem faster, as they have already been properly informed about it.

I do like stupid ghost ledges that have little to no practical use outside of looking like you're taunting in midair [one of my favorites being the jank pipes in RED's backyard in 2fort], so having an easier time hunting 'em down in some maps'd be nice

So you want to spread the word with the goal of getting Valve to fix this exploit by...providing an easy tutorial for noobs on how to ruin casual and cheat as hard as possible? I understand it feels like this is the only way to get Valve to fix anything these days, but this just feels very irresponsible, and now every casual lobby will be full of skids thanks to videos like this.

@@the_pumpkin_girl Valve is not watching some nobody on youtube for exploits, they dont do the bare minimum.
net_fakelag does have a pretty niche use in practicing rocket jumping. When you boot up a jump map in a listen server, you have no ping, which makes rocket jumping significantly cleaner and changes timings for stuff like pogos and speedshots. If you're a player that has bad ping issues in real servers, it might be better to simulate how jumping will ACTUALLY feel with net_fakelag. A value of 30 or so is usually ideal for this.

I could imagine the set up and editing for this was complex, it reminds me of the saying good design is invisible. Everything was shown off very well, good script, camerawork, shots, captioning for each command. It's very cool seeing the effort that went in to show off more than just the exploit. Keep up the great work!

You know what's dumb? This video. I get that you made this video to get valve to fix this, but you also made matches with people even more frustrating until it gets fixed. As you could have emailed Valve about the exploit, like many other times, people did this. Now, I've seen around 5-10 videos abusing this. Good sport!
